Anti-Semitism In The Church :: by Daymond Duck

“All scripture (all 66 books of the Bible) is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (II Tim. 3:16). “All scripture” means the entire Bible not part of it. “Given by inspiration of God” means God gave it. God gave all of it and all of it is the Word of God. Hundreds of times this God inspired Book says, “Thus saith the Lord.” Everyone is admonished to not add to it and not take away from it (Deut. 4:2; Rev. 22:18-19).

The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares teaches that there are two sowings going on in the world; the children of God and the children of Satan (Matt. 13:24-30; 37-43). The Parable of the Mustard Seed teaches that Satan inspires lost people to join the Church and spread corruption in it (Matt. 13:31-32). Peter taught that false teachers will rise within the Church and it appears that some of the corruption today is coming out of the seminaries and pulpits (from theologians and preachers; II Pet. 2:1-3). Paul urged our pastors to preach the Word. He said the time will come when some will turn their ears from the truth and not endure sound doctrine (II Tim. 4:1-4).

Having said this, it is clear that God made an everlasting covenant (everlasting means forever not a few years) to give all of the Land of Canaan (all means in its entirety not part of it) to Israel (Gen. 12:7; 13:15; 17:7-8), the covenant went through Isaac not Ishmael (Gen. 17:18-21; 21:9-21; 25:5), and it went through Jacob not Esau (Gen. 28:13; 35:10-12). God loved Ishmael. He gave Ishmael many descendants. He gave them more than 600 times as much land as He gave to Israel, gave them oil, etc., but God did not give them any of the Land of Canaan. Esau despised his birthright and sold it to Jacob (Gen. 25:29-34). While some of the borders of this land may be debatable it is difficult to understand how anyone can believe God didn’t give Gaza and the West Bank to Israel (Gen. 15:18; Numbers 34:3-5; Deut. 2:24-3:17; Josh. 15:2-4; Josh. 1through Judges 3).

In this famous unconditional (unconditional means it was not dependent upon Israel’s obedience) covenant, God also promised to be Israel’s God forever, a fact that replacement theologians ignore. God even raised up Moses and sent the Ten Plagues on Egyptbecause He would not break this covenant (Deut. 7:7-8). He brought Babylon down because He would not break this covenant (Jer. 25:11-13). In both instances, He returned Israel to the same land He promised to give them generations earlier. God clearly said He will not cast Israel away (Lev. 26:44-45). He clearly said the Jews will return to the land of Israel in the latter years and latter days and, ultimately, they will be His people (Ezek. 38:8, 16; Rom.11:1-2, 26-28). But some religious leaders who are supposed to know these things either don’t know or they ignore them and they promote a false doctrine called Replacement Theology. In so doing, they knowingly or unknowingly, question the very character of God.

For example, fifteen leaders of churches and faith-based groups (Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian (USA), UCC churches, and the National Council of Churches) recently sent a letter to Congress requesting a re-evaluation of American aid to Israel (so much for separation of Church and state). These Bible-denying leaders want Congress to hold hearings and withdraw aid to Israel if Israeldoesn’t abide by the U.S. desire to divide the Promised Land. These highly educated Church leaders should thank God that Israel exists and rejoice over the fulfillment of Bible prophecy, but they have lost their way. They ignore the fact that terrorist groups in the PA are committed to the destruction of Israel; that the PA won’t recognize the existence of Israel as a Jewish nation; that terrorists in the PA persecute Christians and Jews; that they destroy church property, threaten jail and kill pastors, etc. These Church leaders are committed to false doctrines and falsehood because they advance the fiction that the Church has replaced Israel and that the PA wants peace. They have abandoned clear teachings in the Bible, ignored the statements and actions of the PA, and they are not ashamed to do it. It is enough to make one think that MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH is rising (Rev. 17:5).
