The European Space Agency (ESA) tells us that space history will be made on August 6th as their Rosetta spacecraft catches up to Comet 67P and begins to orbit around it. This space probe has spent more than a decade gaining enough speed and the exact trajectory in order to “pair up” with the comet. If everything goes according to plan, then in November the Rosetta’s attached Philae lander will detach and fall toward the comet along a ballistic trajectory. Then its work begins.
ESA scientists and many others like them believe that comets brought most of the water and building blocks of life to early Earth. They are hoping to get a better understanding of what comets are made of, which they believe could be the key to uncovering the secrets of the origin of life.

The other has been finding its way to their assignation, a journey of more than 3.5 billion miles. Now the meeting draws near. On Wednesday, barring disaster, the steadfast spacecraft called Rosetta will finally join the object of its devotion, an icy and mysterious comet. After that, the two will travel the solar system together, making Rosetta the first spacecraft to spend quality time with a comet.
As the two head toward the sun together, the growing warmth will awaken the comet. Its glowing halo will expand, it will sprout several tails, and Rosetta will be there alongside it to watch the whole process. ESA project scientist, Mike Taylor, calls it “a big leap forward.”

Taylor and other mission team members are very much looking forward to this “escort phase,” which is slated to run from August 6th through the end of the nominal mission in December of 2015. [Space.com]
The comet will not be visible to the naked eye, and the exact day of Philae’s rendezvous with Comet 67P is not known yet, only the general time, the month of November of this year.
As the secular world follows this rendezvous, escort and journey to the sunand beyond of these space age metal idols, true believers in Christ are looking forward to their own journey to the Son, who will escort us to heaven. This occurrence won’t be visible to those left behind. We don’t know the day or the hour, but God’s Word tells us we will know the general time.
The First Key
The Rosetta spacecraft looks like a flying robotic type of bird. Its attached partner, the blue Philae lander, forms the “beak” in front. The Rosetta spacecraft is named after the Rosetta Stone. The Rosetta Stone is a stele inscribed with a decree issued at Memphis, Egypt in 196 BC that affirms the royal cult of Ptolemy V. The decree appears in three scripts: Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, Demotic script, and Ancient Greek. Because all three scripts present basically the same text, the Greek language could be used to understand Egyptian hieroglyphs. Thus, the Rosetta Stone is widely seen as the main key to understanding the civilization of ancient Egypt.
Who is Ptolemy?
One of the instruments on the spacecraft’s Philae lander functions to understand the geochemistry of light elements such as hydrogen and helium. Its name is Cosac et Ptolemy. COSAC is the part of the European Union (EU) responsible for the collaboration between the European Parliament and the parliaments of its Member States. “Et” means “and.”But who is Ptolemy?
The Ptolemaic dynasty was a Macedonian Greek royal family, which ruled in Egypt from 305 BC until 30 BC, when Egypt was conquered by Rome.Cleopatra was from this dynasty. The Ptolemy kings and queens adopted the Egyptian rulers’ custom of marrying their own siblings. They formed one religious cult after another in their worship of false gods, had drunken orgies, and had a penchant for political assassinations — all in all a disgusting empire.
Comet 67P: Philae in the Sky
What’s puzzling scientists is the current shape of Comet 67/P. Ten years ago it was shaped the same as the average comet, like a “squashed football.”However, a recent photograph shows that it now has a very odd shape.According to them the comet now looks like a “rubber duck.” Also SpaceWeather.com reported that this comet has a double nucleus. I’ve personally named the comet “Philae in the Sky.” It seems more fitting given what will be revealed here.
The Second Key
How did scientists arrive at the name of Philae for their lander? Philae is the island in the river Nile on which an obelisk was found that was inscribed in two languages, and included the two names, Cleopatra and Ptolemy, in Egyptian hieroglyphs. Though the Rosetta Stone was the main key, it took this obelisk — the second key to complete the final pieces to unlock the secrets of the civilization of ancient Egypt. The obelisk was privately purchased in the 1820s and taken to England where it can still be seen. According to the ESA, it was this Philae obelisk that gave the Philae lander its name.
Now we have the full picture of how these two space vehicles got their name. There’s Rosetta (Stone) the spacecraft, plus Philae (obelisk) the lander — the two keys with which scientists hope to finally accomplish their goal of deciphering the secrets of the universe, just as the Stone and the obelisk were the two keys to unlocking the secrets of the ancient Egyptian civilization.
This obelisk will be discussed in more detail shortly, but first let’s take a closer look at the island of Philae.
Philae on the Earth

It is composed of Syenite stone: its sides are steep, and on their summits a lofty wall was built encompassing the island. Despite being the smaller island, Philae proper was the more interesting of the two. (Wikipedia.com)
The shape of the island of Philae is like that of a bird without its wings spread. One might even say it looks like a duck. It was the previous site of the Temple of Isis. Between 1972 and 1980 the Philae temple complex was dismantled and relocated to nearby Agilkia Island due to flooding at Philae.
Considered as one of the burial places of the god Osiris, Philae was highly revered by both the Egyptians to the north and the Nubians (Ethiopians) to the south. It was considered profane for anyone but priests to dwell there and was deemed “The Unapproachable.” It was said that neither birds flew over it nor fish approached its shores.
The island of Philae also was remarkable for the effects of light and shade resulting from its position near the Tropic of Cancer. As the sun approached its northern limit the shadows from the projecting cornices and moldings of the temples sink lower and lower down the plain surfaces of the walls until the sun, having reached its highest altitude, overspreads the vertical walls with dark shadows. That brought to mind some scriptures concerning light and darkness.
“Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, a darkness to be felt” (Exodus 10:21).
“All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over you, and put darkness on your land, declares the Lord God” (Ezekiel 32:8).
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12).
Strangely enough, the island of Philae is shaped like a type of bird, just like Comet 67P. What an ominous place the island of Philae on earth was in ancient times! It brings to mind God’s future judgment in Revelation upon Mystery Babylon:
“And he called out with a mighty voice, ‘Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great!She has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast” (Revelation 18:2).
The Temple of Isis

The temple was begun by Ptolemy II and completed by the Roman Emperors – an evil place built by two evil empires. The temple at Philae was dedicated to the goddess Isis, the wife of Osiris and mother of Horus (the resurrected Osiris). These three characters dominate ancient Egyptian culture.
What? The son, Horus, was the god Osiris in the flesh? Oh yes, the devil has cleverly been at work since ancient days counterfeiting the things of God and trying to destroy His plan of salvation to the world. The two beasts spoken of in Revelation, the antichrist and the false prophet, will complete Satan’s unholy trinity during the Tribulation, which surely must be very close.
Isis and the Cult of the Queen of Heaven
The so-called goddess Isis, whose name means “throne” was a very important figure in the ancient world. She was associated with funeral rites and was the enchantress who gave birth to Horus (the hawk-headed god of war and protection) and resurrected Osiris. She was seen as the giver of life, a healer and protector of kings. She was worshiped as the ideal mother and wife, patroness of nature and magic. She was known as ‘Mother of God’ and was represented with a throne on her head. As the personification of the throne, she was an important representation of the pharaoh’s power. During the Roman period her cult spread throughout Greece and the Roman Empire.

We read in the book of Jeremiah about entire families involved in idolatry.It even became popular among the Israelites, who were warned of God’s judgment if they did not cease this abomination.
“The children gather wood, the fathers kindle fire, and the women knead dough, to make cakes for the queen of heaven. And they pour out drink offerings to other gods, to provoke Me to anger.” (Jeremiah 7:18).
This title referred to Ishtar, an Assyrian and Babylonian goddess also called Ashtoreth and Astarte by various other groups. She was thought to be the wife of the false god Baal, also known as Molech. The motivation of women to worship Ashtoreth stemmed from her reputation as a fertility goddess, and, as the bearing of children was greatly desired among women of that era, worship of this “queen of heaven” was rampant among pagan civilizations. Osiris: Brother/Husband of Isis
Osiris was usually identified as the god of the afterlife, the underworld and the dead. He was classically depicted as a green-skinned man with a pharaoh’s beard, wearing a distinctive crown with two large ostrich feathers at either side, and holding a symbolic crook and flail. Osiris was at times considered the oldest son of the Earth god Geb, and the sky goddess Nut, as well as being brother and husband of Isis, with Horus being considered his posthumously (after his death) begotten son. Now, just how did they claim their so-called god was able to procreate after death?

Isis replaced the missing organ with an obelisk and magically impregnated herself with Horus, the resurrected Osiris. This legend formed the core of Egyptian cosmology and was fantastically venerated on the most imposing scale throughout all of Egypt by towering obelisks, including at Karnak where the upright obelisks (of Osiris) were “vitalized” or “stimulated” from the energy of the masturbatory Sun god Ra shining down upon them. Obelisks, Domes and False Gods Today

These symbols of pagan worship have their roots in ancient Babylon. Let’s take a look at some other things which were built by those who seek to defy God today.
The Louise Weiss EU building in Strasbourg was voluntarily unfinished at a cost of 430 million euros (631 million dollars). Imagine spending all that money to build something they want to look unfinished. Some speculate it was built to model the Tower of Babel while others think it was modeled after the Roman Coliseum. Something tells me it was modeled after the two of them: a symbol of the Roman Empire paired with a symbol of false ecumenical worship. And this will be repeated during the Tribulation with the Revived Roman Empire (one-world government) and Mystery Babylon (one-world false ecumenical religion).
The circular shape of the EU plenary chamber (conference room) at the EU building in Strasbourg is designed to encourage unity among political parties rather than confrontation. The design is reminiscent of the seating at the ancient Roman Coliseum.
The appearance of the tower of the building even caused the secular press to nickname it “The Tower of Eurobabel.”

As if the celebration of the pagan tower that led God to confuse the languages of a defiant people wasn’t enough (Genesis 11:9), a crane in the background is shown rebuilding the tower. Once again, a rebellious people are rebuilding Mystery Babylon. [RaptureReady.com]
Brussels, Belgium is considered to be the de facto capital of the European Union. The Charlemagne building is a high-rise in the European Quarter of Brussels, which houses the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs, the Directorate-General for Trade, and the Directorate-General for Enlargement of the European Commission. The Philae lander is shaped like a mini Charlemagne EU building.

It Takes Two
The word “Philae” in Greek or “Pilak” in ancient Egyptian, means “the end.” That’s how the island got its name, because of its location at the end of Egypt.
When we last left the Philae lander, it was on the comet about to get to its work, provided the plan went well (in November) to land on the comet.Philae has its own attached obelisk named SD2 (Sampling, Drilling and Distribution Device). The obelisk will drill into the comet and collect ice and dust samples while Osiris NAC and Osiris WAC, both on Rosetta, take photos. The obelisk will then insert these samples into Philae’s oven. It has 26 of them that are mounted on a rotating carousel.
The carousel will then rotate to deliver the samples to the instruments that will analyze them. Rosetta will phone home the results. This process could last up to three months.
Afterward, Philae will stay on the comet with a weakening battery, dying from exhaustion, while Rosetta and Comet 67P journey to the sun together.They’ll reach their closest approach on August 13, 2015, after which they’ll be sent into outer darkness.
The mission will likely end in December 2015, but there’s a chance it could go on a little longer. It depends on the need and more funding. 3 billion euros (equal to 4 billion dollars) have already come out of public funds for the mission.
The scientists from all over Europe and the U.S. hope to live happily ever after, having unlocked the secrets of how everything in the universe came to be, including you and me, and all without the help of God, so that they may indeed boast.
What mankind wants to do in his vanity is to prove that there is no God — that everything came from this space dust and just fell into place.
“You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44).
We could ask these scientists, “How is it that everything fell into place so perfectly?” “Who made the dust that you believe holds the key to the origin of everything? All that time and money has been spent by Europe (and NASA in the U.S. to a lesser extent) while the answers can be found in the Bible for free.
“By the sweat of your brow will you have food to eat until you return to the ground from which you were made. For you were made from dust, and to dust you will return” (Genesis 3:19).
“He who made the Pleiades and Orion and turns deep darkness into the morning, and darkens the day into night; who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the surface of the earth, the Lord is His name”(Amos 5:8).
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day, they pour forth speech; night after night, they display knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world” (Psalms 19:1-4).
“He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name” (Psalms 147:4).
“He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes” (Psalm 147:16).
“He directs the snow to fall on the earth and tells the rain to pour down” (Job 37:6).
“I do set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between Me and the earth” (Genesis 9:13).
No Excuse
We still live in a pagan world, folks. As it was in ancient days, so it is now. One of the arguments I get when I try to witness to unbelievers is this, “God is a myth, just like the mythical gods of ancient times, and the Bible is just a bunch of fairytales, as theirs were.” Satan’s lie deceived the world then and continues to do so now.
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For His invisible attributes, namely, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
For although they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks to Him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen” (Romans 1:18-25).
Don’t Be a Fool
Solomon was the wisest of men who became a fool when he turned away from God and turned to worldly pleasures. The Book of Ecclesiastes is believed to have been written by Solomon. Ecclesiastes means “preacher” or “philosopher.”
In his old age the preacher realizes that faith in God is the only way for one to find meaning in his life and true happiness. He advises the reader to focus on an eternal God instead of temporary earthly pleasure.
“Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near when you will say, “I have no delight in them” (Ecclesiastes 12:1).
“Remember Him before the silver cord is broken and the golden bowl is crushed, the pitcher by the well is shattered and the wheel at the cistern is crushed; then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it. ‘Vanity of vanities,’ says the preacher,’ all is vanity!’” (Ecclesiastes 12: 6-8).)
