“I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry” (2 Timothy 4:1-5 emphasis added).
For about a year, my family and I attended a “seeker friendly” church. I shudder to even write those words now. Sounds good, doesn’t it? They advertise: “Are you turned off by church? Well, we’re not your typical church. We’re different. Come as you are – shorts and flips flops – we won’t judge you!”
It wasn’t so much the lack of appropriate attire. It was the lack of the Word of God! These churches are so-called Christianity’s way of becoming politically correct; becoming “relevant” in our ever-changing world.
Well, the world may be changing but NEWSFLASH: The Word of God never changes!
These churches grow so quickly. The one we attended is now one of the largest churches in our area with a huge facility which seats thousands. The reason we went there for that year was because it had a large and very active youth ministry. I have asked the Lord for forgiveness; that is no reason to choose a church.
So as churches become more and more politically correct, they shut the door on the Holy Spirit. After all, they need to pack in the people, right? The Holy Spirit might step on someone’s toes, and they certainly wouldn’t want that. Sin and repentance and salvation are seldom preached.
I wrote an article on Replacement Theology not too long ago. The main proponents of this lie from the pit are the main stream denominations – Presbyterian Church USA, Lutheran, Methodist and some Baptist churches, among others. The Catholic Church has been teaching RT since its inception.
Now the LBGT gang are making demands on churches. The lesbian mayor of Houston, TX tried to get copies of all sermons about homosexuality so she and her cronies could “correct the text.” There was an outcry against this, and for the time being she has pulled back.
We can see the finger prints of Satan in every church who is turning its back on God’s Holy Word. There is a new outcry from the pulpits of the PC crowd.
They yell, “Free Palestine! Israel is occupying land which is not theirs! Israel is an apartheid state! Down with Israel! Boycott products made in Israel!” They compare Israel with Hitler’s SS. To them, Israel is the oppressor, and are occupiers of their own land.
Oh Satan. You are not even subtle in your demands anymore. You must be so desperate.
Another NEWSFLASH: God Himself is a Zionist.
“For the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation. ‘This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her needy with bread.
Her priests also I will clothe with salvation, and her godly ones will sing aloud for joy. There I will cause the horn of David to spring forth; I have prepared a lamp for Mine anointed. His enemies I will clothe with shame, but upon himself his crown shall shine’” (Psalm 132:13-18).
But the new PC churches feels that they are justified in their thinking and preaching (I use that term so loosely).
God says, “There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12)
A Jewish author and activist wrote this chilling assessment of what is happening: In her book Eurabia: the Euro-Arab Axis released in 2006, author Bat Ye’or almost prophetically calls it “Palestinian Marcionism”:
The Christian policy that would eliminate the Jewish source of Christianity by suppressing the link between the Hebrew Bible and the gospels represents an old and lingering trend, always opposed by the church. It was first formulated by Marcion, a second-century Byzantine priest of pagan background who was strongly influenced by Gnosticism. Today, Palestinian Marcionism (Palestinianism) paves the way for the Islamization of the Church as it prepares mentalities for an Islamic replacement theology.
Ye’or’s assessment has tragically been proven true within the last five years. Christian Palestinianism is becoming an effective way to de-judaize Jesus. Along with the persecution of the Jews by the church through the ages, together with this anti-Semitic view of Israel, opens wide the door to rewrite the Scriptures. Jewish references are then replaced to accommodate the “Islamization” of the Bible. Enter: CHRISLAM.
An expert in Christian Palestinianism, Paul Wilkenson from the UK says this:
Christian Palestinianism is an inverted mirror image of Christian Zionism. All the basic elements of a Christian Zionist eschatology are reversed, so that the Bible is seen to be Christian, not Jewish, the land of the Bible is Palestine not Israel, the Son of God is a Palestinian not a Jew, the Holocaust is resented not remembered, 1948 is a catastrophe not a miracle, the Jewish people are illegal occupiers not rightful owners, and Biblical prophecy is a moral manifesto and not a signpost to the Second Coming. Despite enlisting support from the theological community and seeking validation through academia, the overriding thrust of Christian Palestinianism is political, not biblical.
The implications of CP (Christian Palestinianism.) are alarming. The masses seated in their pews have gathered to themselves “teachers” who will gladly tickle their ears and fulfill their desire, just as God’s Word proclaimed would happen.
We know that all of this is happening because our Father has permitted it. We wonder why so much evil and so much deception abounds. But should we wonder? The Lord told us clearly that these things must happen.
The Man of Lawlessness Will Be Revealed
“Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.
Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4).
Brethren, no matter how bleak the events of this world seem—remember that our safety comes from the Lord God Almighty. Do not be deceived by the words of men.
The only words we should be clinging to, are the Words of God in His Holy Bible!
