Since in our society the freedom of religion is one of the tenants of our Constitution, we are hard pressed to deny open worship of Allah, even by Islamic terrorists who would kill us. Vicious, cunning and cruel as they are, they have the president’s blessing. Albeit, he may just be the kingpin of this satanic ideology!
Already there are Muslim prayers being offered up on the grounds of the campus at UCLA. Already the die is being cast and God and the Bible are being taken from our country’s learning institutions at breakneck speed. Secret meetings behind closed doors with Muslim leaders and Obama’s attack on Christianity at the National Prayer Breakfast are good indications of where this man stands, and to think that Henry Kissinger named him to be the one world leader, no less. This portends big trouble for Christianity.
Our Constitution is being assailed and citizens may soon be asked to spy on their neighbors. It’s very likely that evangelical Christianity will be frowned upon more and more, to the extent that evangelizing may be condemned and viewed as a hate crime. So if you have any intention of doing something for the kingdom of God, you’d better do it now.
Even Glenn Beck was weeping about what he said was coming down the pike, “It’s going to be like the 1930s again.” he said. But since he is a Mormon, he really has no idea and is only seeing things from a humanistic perspective. But even non-believers know something is in the wind. Jesus said, “You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.”
We are living in a time when anything is possible. Thank God He is in control. What a time to be alive.
In the meantime, there is going to be in-fighting among Christians themselves. Hypocrites and crooked Christians are out for what they can get, not what they can do for the kingdom of God. They will turn against “born again” brethren for what they think is too radical and extreme. They seem to forget that John the Baptist and other prophets of God were also radical servants of God. Jesus himself warned the people of judgment and hell and didn’t pussyfoot around about it.
Christianity is serious business. But with all of the improprieties taking place within the church body, is it any wonder that non-Christians, atheists and progressives (far left godless people) can point a finger at us with distain?
Here is a small example: Trinity Broadcasting is being investigated for $100,000,000 fraud. The Catholic Church continues to harbor pedophiles and promote apostasy. Also, there are far too many so-called Christian ministries performing sham healings, laughing, “being slain in the spirit” and other weird ministries. Have they no shame? Today, heretical ministries abound.
Another example is the people that appear on “Christian” Internet talk shows that tell about having a vision; most of these stories can’t be true. There was never a prophet of God who wasn’t totally overwhelmed by the appearance of God or his holy angels. Daniel quaked and nearly passed out; and he couldn’t eat for awhile after.
Paul was thrown to the ground and struck blind, and yet these self-seeking “dreamers” talk about the experience as though they had encountered just another ordinary person. In fact, they put God on their level, making themselves equal to Him. God is very selective about whom He appears to and in what way. But you can be assured that it wouldn’t be a pleasant experience.
So now, with all this craziness going on, it becomes increasingly clear why Christians may be persecuted soon; maybe sooner than we think. After all, Christianity is just another silly religion in a world teeming with religions. How dare Christians say that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life when they are capable of foolish acts?
But you and I know that Christians are only human, and IF they are saved, they are saved only by God’s grace, “For by grace are ye saved and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God lest any man should boast.” Enough said. However, those of us who are truly saved should try to please God with our talents, commitment to the faith, and willingness to share the gospel of Christ with a lost and dying world – out of thankfulness.
By the way, there is a new movie coming out in March about the “Blood Moons.” It is produced by John Hagee. But, sad to say, his films have always ended up on DVDs and marketed in Christian bookstores. From this, we can say that his films are made only for Christians.
Two new films flopped big time at the box office over the weekend, Jupiter Ascending and Seventh Son.
American Sniper continues to rule the box office. I’m convinced that people today are looking for stories that depict real hero’s and substance—even if it is violent.
