I would like to begin this article by saying, I belong to Jesus Christ 100 percent. I am covered in HIS blood from the Cross at Calvary, for the forgiveness of my sins. Therefore, whether the Rapture or death come, I am in heaven for eternity. Immediately.
Am I being boastful? YES. It is ultimately more important to me to follow Jesus Christ. So now someone is sitting there saying, “Well that’s just wonderful for you!” And so the message to follow is lost. Now days, I write articles and place them on Facebook and guess what? I will get only a few “Likes” and that is about it.
Obviously, there are a few who are as worried about what all is going on in this world as I am. Obviously, there are a few who understand what I have said and maybe ONE will go to his or her Bible and read it (concerning these events and why they are taking place).
What is so surprising is this: I am always hoping and praying the Lord will touch ONE heart and bring them to a knowledge of HIM. My heart on the other hand, feels that no one cares what has been said. My heart also tells me that the majority are living their lives as if nothing is going to happen, that there is nothing to worry about. One would think that the majority of friends and family, along with those whom I know, would at least read the articles. Sadly, that is not the case.
If I came along and told you that you would be involved in a car accident today, would you believe me? Several things would take place. You would ask yourself, How well do I know him? Then you would ask, Is he trustworthy? The next step would be, How does he know this will take place?
Well, there is one sure fire way to find out…get into your car and drive somewhere. If you are in an accident, then you will know that I was telling you the truth. (That of course depends on one crucial element— that you survive the accident). So what is left to figure out? Will you drive today or not, it’s that simple. But you know, that would be a huge feat to come true, after all, I am human just like you, right?
The Bible is God’s Holy Word to our ears and eyes. God is the Creator, God knows everything and knew it long before HE created the universe. So God inspires men to write the things HE wants them to tell others, here on earth. Every “prophecy” ever written was through the inspiration of God. What is so unusual every single prophecy in the Bible up-to-date has come true. God’s Holy Word tells us that the world we would be living in today, will be this or that, and sure enough…IT IS TRUE!
Don’t take my word for it, Look it up for yourselves. You can do so online. So there is no excuse.
So let’s put that story above to the same task. If it was written in the Bible and I came along and told you about the accident that it is recorded in the Bible, would you drive your car today? Of course you wouldn’t, because now we have something factual to make our decision upon, right? But it doesn’t end there, does it?
One, you must be willing to believe the Word of God. Then you must be willing to apply that belief to your life. Notice, the vast majority of the world will not believe, much less even read the Word of God. That means the majority of the world would jump in their cars and drive off, not caring that a prophecy was made for them. Are you beginning to catch on here?
The example above is fictional, but the Holy Word of God IS truth and there are definitely Prophecies to be aware of. Let’s take a look at some of them:
Noah and the Flood
Genesis 7:11-12: “In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.”
Genesis 7:21-24: “And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark. And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.”
Sodom and Gomorrah
Genesis 19:1-3: “And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; and he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, ‘Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.’ And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.”
Genesis 19:5-8: “And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, and said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.”
Genesis 19:24-26: “Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.”
Our Future
I am sure that many already know of these two stories. What is so unusual about these two stories, is that we have evidence, by scientists, that they did take place. These are two prophecies. If they are indeed truths and they are proven, why would the rest of the Bible, be any less true? Make sense? Now let’s take a look at now and the OUR future:
2 Peter 3:3-5: “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water.”
Some will say:
“I do not believe that a loving God would send anyone to hell” or “I’ll believe it when I see it.” “There is no life after death, it just ceases to be all together” and there are many other sayings by people that do not believe in God’s Holy Word—the Bible.
Matthew 24:5-7: “’Many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and will mislead many. And you will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.’
But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations on account of my name. And many false prophets will arise, and will mislead many. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come.”
1 Timothy 4:1-3: “But the spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. By means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.”
2 Timothy 3:1-5, 7: “But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of god; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
Okay, now we have the majority of Scripture that fills the prophecies of our Immediate future, as in tomorrow. We are able to see how people will be acting and whom they follow right now and whom they SHOULD follow from now on. That is, of course, IF they want to go to heaven. I am NOT saying this…The Word of God says it.
This is what I believe and I want for others to know and understand as well. The problem is, they won’t read the articles, thus they miss the Word of God spoken to them. I am doing nothing more than writing according to my understanding of the Word of God. Understanding the Word of God has nothing to do with intellect or how smart you are. It does however require WISDOM and that wisdom comes from God alone.
The rest is up to YOU! YOU either believe what is written in the Word of God, or you choose not to. The point is…YOU do not have to go to hell…you are able to choose Jesus Christ and go to Heaven. You must understand, you FOLLOW Jesus Christ…or YOU DO NOT.
John 14:6: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no mancometh unto the Father, but by me.”
