My friends, we have discussed at length what Satan and his ilk are up to now days, and since the day Satan and his ilk were thrown out of heaven. We have seen that it is our sin that creates all this mayhem and destruction across the world; the diseases, famines and death. We know that the leaders of all the countries of this world are lost, just as the majority of the people are. And here is the Scripture that points this out, in black and white, from the lips of God to our ears:
Romans 1:18-25: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”
This passage of Scripture is profound in and of itself. It categorically places the blame for our fallen situation, squarely on our shoulders…where it belongs! So now, you’re wondering why it is our fault? It is because we never take into account, there are always: “Two Sides to every coin.” Why is it so difficult to understand, that God Almighty chose to create us, to love, honor and glorify HIM? In the same tone, HE created us, so that HE would have a people to love, honor and cherish and take care of? How is it, that this is so difficult for everyone to understand?
Everyone “talks” about harmony and love and yet what do we do when are having a bad day? We then find it so easy to hurt others, in every way conceivable. How many pastors or ministers of any kind, are standing up to the sin in this world and preaching on it? How many of them are preaching about the “narrow road” to salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross?
The people of this world are looking for stability and security, the chance to live a great life and they are seeking this in the words of these pastors and ministers. Yet at the same time, these same pastors and ministers are directing the people to anything and everything…short of Jesus Christ. And the people in the pews are sitting there, few ever listening, most waiting to hear about money or feeling good. Pastors and ministers, stand up! Wake them up. Get them to listen. Time is short. Read to them the Word of God, as it is written. That is why you are in a leadership position to begin with. And you, like everyone else are going to be held accountable…by Jesus Christ!
As a pastor and or minister, your life is NOT your own to do as you please, to discount or perversely change the Word of God…to meet your own wants and desires. You have been given a position to uphold, you have been placed where you are for God’s own reasons. That position comes with a great accountability to God and God alone. The passage above, shows you that. There is NO excuse for doing or saying anything that does NOT glorify the Lord God Almighty.
If you are not able to do that, then get off the podium. IF you tell the congregation anything short of Jesus Christ and HIS cleansing blood for our sin, YOU will be held responsible. Their blood will be on your hands, on your head. Or do you not understand the situation the Lord Jesus Christ had with the Pharisees and the Sadducees? Jesus Christ…said “they were a brood of Vipers.”
The Word of God tells us what the world will be like in the last days, the days just prior to the Rapture and the Tribulation. I do not see one single word in those passages that says anything about finding peace and security, except through Jesus Christ. How many funerals and burials have you ever officiated at, where the deceased has been able to take anything from this world with them? IF that is the case, and we KNOW it is, then why would you preach the “prosperity or feel good” gospel? That is sacrilege, that is blasphemy in the worst way possible.
People…stop playing around with your eternal destiny, read the Bible, accept the truth that you will find there and hold it more dear than your life. Stop being lazy, read your Bible, listen to the Words of God Almighty, believe them with everything you can muster. The passages of the Bible, that describe the last days, the days prior to the Rapture, are all here for everyone to see, it’s all around us.
That being the case, there are going to be millions and millions of people that are “thinking” they are going in the Rapture, but they will not go. Because they did NOT read their Bibles, instead they listened to pastors and ministers who are not saved to Jesus Christ either. They chose the sermons and preachers that told them how loving God is, which is true, yet they failed to show how just and righteous The Lord God Almighty truly is.
What is going to be your excuse? “Well…I didn’t know.”
Have you read your Bible today, have you sought the Lord in prayer, have you asked for His wisdom and discernment? You mean to tell me that you can’t find 15 minutes to read God’s Word and pray? And so one day when you’re standing before Jesus Christ you’ll give an excuse like that? Jesus Christ, could stand there and ask you, “Why did I create you to begin with?” Are you going to try that excuse again? You could say, “Well I was a deacon or an elder, I gave my tithes, I was a member of the church, I said all my Our Fathers and Hail Mary’s.
Do you really think, that all that other stuff is going to work in your favor…with God Almighty? The omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient God who is also 100% just and righteous?
Matthew 7:21-23: “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
Luke 13:23-28: “Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.”
2 Corinthians 11:13-15: “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”
Wow…don’t ya just hate those “oops moments?” It’s in those moments when you find out the absolute truth and know…you have been wrong all this time. Those are also the moments when you can fall to your knees before Jesus Christ and admit your sin and ask for His forgiveness. Otherwise, as the Verse says above you can count on “ whose end shall be according to their works.” Again, the Bible tells us where and how to find Eternal Salvation…It’s a Gift…you either accept that gift of Jesus Christ or you don’t!
