“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
On February 4, 2016 U.S. President Barack Obama delivered a sermon on the subject of faith and unity. As he usually does, our Lecturer in Chief stood behind his lectern to lecture the American people on how he wants us to think and believe as we go about our daily lives.
The president twisted the Word of God for his own purposes in order to deceive half-hearted and backslidden Christians into following along with the global program. He tried to sucker those who only want to pay lip service to the God of the Bible, without actually having to commit their hearts to Him.
The president opened his sermon with the following verse:
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).
Apparently, according to the president’s underlying reason for the use of “for God has not given us a spirit of fear,” we American wimps need to chin up and stop rationalizing our thoughts and actions based upon the fear of real dangers.
I assume then, according to the president, we are not to fear the gruesome methods of death by terrorism. We are not to fear our freedoms being stripped away, one by one. We are not to fear the underlying Judeo Christian principles of our justice system being replaced by the principles of Sharia Law.
We are not to fear losing the freedom of expression of our true faith, according to the entire Bible, and the Bible exclusively. Etc., etc., the list could go on and on but the point is clear.
One would think that based upon the premise of “no fear” put forth by Barack Hussein Obama, that there should exist nothing to fear for Americans. To the contrary, there are a great many things we have to fear in these United States of America.
We must fear the hateful rhetoric (the common sense approach to immigration security) directed toward refugees of the Muslim faith. We must fear being led to lash out against those who are “different.” We must fear not getting some sinister “other” under control (whatever that means).
We must fear succumbing to despair and cynicism. We must fear the erosion of the bonds of community, and our eroding shorelines due to climate change. And on and on this list could go, but again, the point is clear.
According to Barack Obama, fear is a “primal” and contagious emotion that should be kept from spreading through society. The consequences of letting fear consume us, according to the president, is worse than any outward threat of terrorism or loss of freedom.
That is some pretty twisted rhetoric put forth by the president. Based upon the meaning of his sermon, Obama would rather cause people to fear climate change instead of fearing God and the consequences of rejecting His salvation.
In the Bible verse used by Obama, Paul was only encouraging Timothy to have strength in the face of earthly persecutions and trials. The beloved apostle himself was likely facing martyrdom at the time he wrote 2 Timothy. He exhorted us all through his letter to Timothy to love and support each other in our service to Christ.
Paul wrote very clearly that we are to indeed have proper fear:
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he has done, whether it be good or bad. Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men” (2 Corinthians 5:10-11a).
“Jesus is a good cure for fear” according to the president, He points us toward what matters. As long as Jesus points us toward what matters according to the president and his global agenda, then it’s all good. Pity the fool who is led in a heavenly direction rather than an earthly direction, by the Spirit of the Lord.
Through the love of Christ we can have the power to resist fear’s temptations, according to Obama. Jesus gives us the courage to embrace the sins and hatred of others rather than provide security and morality for our homeland.
Jesus gives us the courage to go against the conventional wisdom (traditional biblical values) and stand up for what’s right, but only what’s right as defined by Barack Obama’s earthly wisdom and goals.
Barack Obama’s National Prayer Breakfast speech was a sermon straight out of the mouth of Satan. Only Satan would cause someone to spew such false representation of the Lord Jesus Christ. Obama even went so far as to promote divisiveness within the ranks of true believers (“by standing up to our friends”).
In summary, according to Barack Obama, true courage is marching in lockstep with earthly destiny, and fear is keeping your focus in heaven rather than on earth. The president went on to highlight the fact that “good” people from all faiths do the “Lord’s” work every day.
According to the Bible, there are no “good” people. Also according to the Bible, there is only one God and one true faith.
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one” (Romans 3:10).
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me” (John 14:6).
Obama’s speech at the 2016 National Prayer Breakfast is part of the driving force behind Satan’s goal of someday being worshipped as god. Even Satan knows that it will take time to gather the world’s religions together into one. Earthly human unity is very hard to accomplish apart from the Holy Spirit of God.
Satan knows that God desires for all of His creation to worship Him as Almighty God. Satan also knows all about the hardened hearts of those who reject Almighty God as their Creator.
Satan is the author of many false world religions which substitute darkness for light. Millions of people around the world partake in various “enlightening” practices such as yoga and meditation, all the while claiming to worship the one true God.
The difference between Satan and God is that God is pure and holy and Satan is not. God requires absolute purity in order to worship and fellowship with Him. Satan does not.
God provides perfect righteousness to all who believe on Jesus Christ. God will forgive all who fully repent of all of their sins and accept the pure blood of Jesus for the remission of their sins.
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:3, 16).
Anyone can obtain perfect righteousness through true repentance and faith in the blood of Jesus. Even those of true faith still sin so we are commanded to repent and receive forgiveness for any sin that we may commit.
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:8-9).
God guarantees our standing and fellowship with Him through the seal of His Holy Spirit. Our righteousness will be made complete when we receive our glorified heavenly bodies on the day of resurrection.
“In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory” (Ephesians 1:13-14).
Satan does not have the same requirement of righteousness in order to worship him, as does God Almighty. In fact, quite the opposite is required. Pride, hate, lying, impatience, rudeness, adultery, sodomy, theft, murder, sorcery, all immorality is acceptable to Satan.
It is much easier to cause all people on earth to worship a god who does not demand perfect righteousness in order to worship and fellowship. And that is exactly what Satan is doing, one goal at a time.
He is attempting to bleed all of the world’s religions into one. Satan is going show God how it’s done. He is so filled with hate and pride that he desires to steal away all mankind from worshipping God, into worshiping himself.
As prophesied in the book of Revelation, at some time in the future, Satan’s plan will have evolved to point that he will be able to cause “all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” (Revelation 13:16-17).
During the Tribulation period, Satan’s goal of gathering the world into one religion will be realized, and then he will declare himself as the god of all people on earth.
“And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 13:8).
Barack Obama’s sermon preached at the 2016 National Prayer Breakfast was just another cog in the machine as it rolls forth toward its ultimate journey to destroy Jerusalem.
