Fake news reporting by the politically left-leaning American mass media today is at a new unprecedented high level. The purpose of fake news is to spread “untruths” about anyone who does not agree with the liberal agenda of the Democrat political party.
This Satanic tactic has actually been in use for some time, formerly known as just plain lies, but the new “fake news” term has become increasingly used by the liberal media ever since the recent presidential election defeat of Hillary Clinton by Donald Trump.
I guess “tabloid” news (gossip) is no longer sufficient enough to “tickle the ears” of people. Now we must have “fake” news created out of thin air to help console the hurt feelings of the Democrat political party and stir up the angry liberal supporters as retaliation for yet another crushing defeat of their nationally damaging political agenda.
These days it is very difficult for citizens to discern what is true in the news, or what is distorted truth or what is outright lies. Lies are very effective weapons used by Satan, because he is the “father of lies” as he is referred to in the biblical Scripture of John 8:44.
In contrast to secular fake news, there is no “fake news” in the Holy Bible. Biblical Scripture has never lied or been wrong about ANYTHING in the past or present, and it will never be wrong about anything in the future! Why? The Bible is the actual Word of God and contains nothing but truth. All past prophecies found in the Bible have come to pass and so will all the prophecies pertaining to the future of mankind and the world.
The Bible is our ‘answer’ book, supplied to us by God. Why more people don’t read it to find out the truth about things to come in this troubled world is truly very, very sad.
The Bible says “if anyone advocates a different doctrine, and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness,
he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions, and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth” (1 Timothy 6:3-5)
“The [Holy] Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron” (1 Timothy 4:1-2)
Unfortunately, unbelievers are prone to follow the deception of wickedness “because they do not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. And for this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they might believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.” (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12)
In contrast to fake news, the only world news that ultimately matters for people is the true ‘Good News’ [gospel] of Jesus Christ.
“God desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, for there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all.” (1 Timothy 2:3-6)
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
Do not be deceived by fake news. Open a Bible and discover for yourself the “Good News” of our Savior Jesus Christ!
Scripture contained in the Bible was written by about 40 authors over a period of 1,500 years. God superintended the human authors and used their own individual personalities to compose and record, without error, His revelation to man.
In the Bible we learn that Jesus died in the place of sinners (all of us) and then was resurrected from the dead to redeem all believers (Christians) from their sins.
God’s grace, mercy, and peace are awaiting your acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior.
God says “now is the day for salvation!” (2 Corinthians 6:2) Don’t put it off.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now I am found
Was blind, but now I see.
