A family was seated at the dinner table–the husband, wife, the 7-year-old daughter Jenny, and the 4-year-old son Jeremy.
During dinner, the parents had noticed how well the kids were getting along–none of the usual bickering, picking at each other, etc.
As they were just about finished eating, the son suddenly said, “I love Jenny! When I grow up, I’m gonna marry her!”
The father’s head started spinning! He thought, “Oh no, how am I gonna explain this to a 4-year-old?”
Just then, Jenny, with all the childlike simplicity that only a 7-year-old possesses, saved the day by saying, “Oh no, we couldn’t do that, Jeremy! Cause then our kids would only have one set of grandparents!”
