End-Times Money Madness
I have quite a long list of pastors and Bible teachers that I follow regularly, and a portion of what I write is from what I have learned from them over the years. In many instances, they have led me in the direction of subject matter I wish to pursue even further with observations of my own. And some of that is based on my own true life experiences.
One of my very favorite pastors and teachers is the late Dr. J. Vernon McGee who passed on to be with the Lord in 1988. I still listen and learn from his many sermons posted on YouTube (subtitled “Sunday sermons”) on a regular basis, and he continues to amaze me as to how far ahead of his time he was biblically in his teachings. He was a fire & brimstone type of preacher that I really gravitate to, as I can just imagine Satan and his imps stampeding for the doors the second Dr. McGee stepped up into his pulpit. Satan can’t escape him as Dr. McGee’s words ring out forever on earth from within his archives.
It sort of reminds me of Hal Lindsey and his end-times best-selling book “The Late Great Planet Earth” he released in 1970. I remember him in a velvet jumpsuit being interviewed at that time on the Johnny Carson late-night show. I was a Catholic at that time, and I remember thinking that those Protestant preachers sure dress funny! But he also gave me my first Biblical exposure to God’s end-times Bible prophecies as that sort of teaching was nonexistent from Catholic Church pulpits in those days, and still is, for the most part, today.
Many folks thought he was a religious kook back then, but he was so far ahead of his time when writing this book in the late 60’s. Much of the Biblically-ignorant public thought he was writing science fiction.
Many people didn’t read or study the Book of Revelation in those days. I remember the Catholic Church telling its people to not read it at all because it was too hard and complicated for the common layperson to understand. If we had questions, we were to go ask a priest. But the average priest didn’t know much more about end-times Bible prophecy than the average laypersons themselves knew.
The other night I was listening to one of Dr. McGee’s 1986 sermons entitled “The decline and fall of the United States” where he opened with the statement, “One thing we learn from history is that we don’t learn anything from history.”
He went on to show the many parallels of the ancient Roman Empire in Christ’s time and what is happening today both worldwide and here in the USA. He went on to say we are making many of the same fatal mistakes today that caused Rome to fall approximately 2,000-years ago. And he gave this sermon over 32 years ago in 1986! Look at today’s headlines, and his words from back then are all-the-more mind-boggling.
And read Dr. Lindsey’s book and see the same with regards to the end-times Bible prophecy he started writing in the 60’s, published in 1970. I believe one of the main reasons Hal Lindsey’s book became such a best seller was that some people were hungry to know about what many churches were not teaching at that time. These people had to go elsewhere outside of their own church to learn about God’s prophesied end-times events.
I was in the income tax preparation and accounting business for 33 years, and it provided me with a good living all of those years. But in August of 2012, I decided that if Obama won re-election that upcoming November, I would close my tax business down as I wasn’t going to put up with Obama’s mindless IRS nonsense any longer. Besides, I had another business (retail) that I owned and operated that provided me with good income for 47 years, until I had to retire three years ago due to my present poor health situation.
So take my word for it; I have more than a passing understanding of the tax structures here in the USA. Believe me, the antichrist and the false prophet will not have any money problems after the tribulation period begins no matter how many worldwide governments suffer a financial collapse and go belly-up after the rapture. Antichrist will control all governments, plus I believe he will establish his own new worldwide tax structure besides taking over their banking systems; their militaries and law enforcement agencies; their governmental legislatures, judicial and executive branches, etc., that are already in place.
His control of all governments can lead to his printing off any amount of cash he may need in many countries’ forms of currency. And since he only has but a short time left, massive inflation caused in part by overprinting too much currency will be of no concern to him. Balancing a budget will be the furthermost thing on his mind. He will not govern but instead will dictate. You will see a manufacturing boom rise in the production of guillotines.
I predict that his gestapo members will draw enormous wages, salaries and perks with nearly worthless money from his treasury department’s printing presses. But they won’t suspect a thing is wrong and will continue to go through their large direct deposits at will.
We frequently talk about the double standards in government today. If you or I were to go into our backroom and print off a bunch of money, when caught we would be arrested and jailed for “counterfeiting.” But if government was to do the exact same thing, it would be called “stimulating the economy.”
During the tribulation period, worldwide massive inflation and personal, individual financial woes would do wonders for the promotion and acceptance of his 666 marking system. Bible-ignorant people will rush into accepting the 666 mark just to eat.
Once his 666 system is in play, he will also control all buying and selling worldwide. So those left behind need to head for the wilderness and establish their own sharing and barter systems quickly and quietly. Try not to get trapped in his evil systems and lifestyles (or should I say “deathstyles”).
The false prophet will also generate many monies as he forms his one-world-religion and church which will consist of all so-called Christian denominations (the many that were left behind), Islam, Hindu, new age, sects, cults, etc., all under one umbrella. Naturally all “members” will have to pay their dues to belong so all can “enjoy peace, safety and love” in a united religious world. My next column #36 will cover a lot of this under the heading “The falling away will be left behind.”
Those that claim to be Christian will have to compromise Christian beliefs to be a part of the new world church; that is a reason why they will still be here on earth uncontrollably nodding their collective heads towards their new religious leadership. The Gospel of Jesus Christ can’t be compromised, and those who obey and honor the “no compromise” beliefs are forever safe with the Lord and Savior in heaven.
I just wonder how many “church goers” will have the 666 mark on their hand as they pass the plate for their new world church weekly tithes each and every Sunday?
And if you believe a religious system like the Vatican in Rome is so filthy-rich now, you ain’t seen nuttin’ yet! Of course, if you go in the rapture, there is no need to be concerned about taxes and money as it is now ancient history involving you.
When government structures worldwide start to crumble, much of it will include social programs, infrastructure, national defense, etc. I don’t think antichrist and the false prophet will be the least bit concerned in preserving the wellbeing and future for the next generation. The military’s offense and overpowering police structures will be among their top priorities. They will control all earthly powers but none of the heavenly’s.
Let’s take a quick look at today’s tax structure here in the U.S. It differs a bit from state to state, county to county, etc. I do remember Obama making the comment one time, talking about successful self-made entrepreneurs when he said, “those people are making way too much money.” And then he went about trying to fix “the problem.”
Most of us are usually concerned with federal and state income taxes. They appear to most to be the big ones. A middle-class family can expect to pay up to one-third of their income in those two taxes alone. Upper-class people are usually paying over 50%, even though they can afford expensive CPA’s, tax advisors, off-shore investments, Swiss bank accounts, etc. They may get extra deductions, tax credits, exemptions, etc., but all of that will cost them money. Tax deductions are anything but free.
Low income folks usually don’t pay any, or very little, income tax at all; but many are on some kind of non-taxable welfare or government programs which are paid for in tax revenue generated by the middle and upper class tax payers.
Many low income people actually show a profit when they file their annual taxes. If they owe zero in taxes by April 15 but qualify for earned income credits, they can get up to a $6,318.00 refund in 2018 (depending on the number of children they have). Those refunds have to come from somewhere, so the middle and upper class tax payers are actually paying for those refunds through their own tax bill. Who says that the USA doesn’t have income redistribution?
And if the rapture were to happen before the new January 1st tax season begins, there would be a drastic reduction in tax revenue for that upcoming tax year. A massive group of honest tax payers would have officially departed earth.
Nearly all of us pay city, county and state sales tax. It is usually collected at one spot (say at a retail store check-out register), and usually all of it is sent in to the state who in turn divides it up. They keep out their share first before distributing the rest to the individual counties and cities. Some like non-profit organizations, not-for-retail sales businesses, etc., get an exemption; but someone else down the line is picking up the slack for that exemption.
Then you have annual real estate and personal property taxes usually for city, county and state. It doesn’t matter if you rent or own your house; you pay real estate taxes.
If you own or are buying your home, you personally pay (or pay by escrow account) the taxes annually. If you paid your mortgage off, you still pay taxes; and they usually rise regularly due to state reappraisals. The older the house, the higher value the appraisal (most generally) which means the higher the taxes. And if you pay your house off, you still don’t own it. Just get two or so years behind in paying your real estate property taxes, and it’s usually the county confiscating your home and selling it on the courthouse steps at auction to the highest bidder for the back taxes owed!
This is a main reason so many successful investors dabble in the real estate markets. It usually shows good long-term investment returns. It almost always shows a gain. A bad year is a low-gain year. But any gain is not a loss. So most real estate investors are usually in for the long haul; therefore their investment usually shows good gains if they wait and are patient.
If you rent, your landlord pays the property taxes. The higher the taxes, the higher the landlord raises your monthly rent payments to cover their costs. And if you are on some government housing allowance, someone down the line is paying the taxes indirectly. The government always gets “theirs” sooner or later.
Personal property taxes are usually your cars, boats, etc. I remember the good ole days when I had two cars and a pick-up, my wife had her car, and we had three kids in college. Our front driveway looked like a used car lot.
There are so many “lesser” taxes like gasoline taxes; Obamacare mandatory health insurance taxes (collected by the IRS on your annual federal tax forms); conservation & parks taxes; all licenses and permit fees such as drivers and auto licenses; airline travel fees; hunting & fishing licenses; passport fees; building permits; marriage licenses; court costs; merchants licenses; public land use permits and fees, etc. Trucking companies are taxed to death, but you pay for it when you buy the next box of corn flakes that those truckers have delivered.
Look at how many trucks that a bushel of corn (to make those corn flakes) is transported in or through from the planting, fertilizing and harvesting the crops in a farmer’s corn field to a grain co-op, to a cereal manufacturer, to a cereal distributor, to a retail chain warehouse, to a retail store. Don’t bother trying to count the trucking taxes like state and interstate licenses, road use tax, gas tax, tire taxes, safety equipment regulations, etc., etc.
It is getting so that a person might soon have to take out a second mortgage on their home to buy a box of a popular brand-name cereal.
I can remember in the late 1990’s the then-vice president Al Gore making a public statement about how in a few years that America would be getting two-thirds of its agriculture products from foreign country sources. And all the while that fool was making his announcement, he was grinning from ear-to-ear! No wonder this was happening. It was cheaper, had less hassles and wasn’t well regulated for quality and safe public consumption like U.S. grown farm products were subjected to. And it brought happiness to the face of Al Gore that America’s agriculture and farm base was being eliminated, torn down and destroyed.
And if you consider the numerous times God used the word “fool” in the Bible, then you might understand why I think the word “fool” is a perfect fit for people like Al Gore!
Most taxes are government rackets. That is the main reason that booze prohibition happened back in the 30’s so various levels of government could regulate and tax alcohol.
I can remember as a kid when a pack of cigarettes was 20 cents. Now they are about $5.00. Why are so many states moving to legalize dope? So they can license, regulate and tax it. They don’t care about drug overdoses. They will create a tax-funded government program for that which will cause more unnecessary bureaucrats to be hired.
And it won’t stop with “medical marijuana” either. Next will come cocaine, crack, etc. In a way, our government has turned into a gigantic group of pimps and drug dealers who profit from the various sins they claim to be so strongly against. Hypocrites and fools.
My parents were chicken farmers before, during and after World War 2; and I can remember Mom gathering eggs from the hen house and driving them into town to sell them through the delivery back door of the local grocery store for cash (along with a few freshly plucked, feathered and dressed frying chickens). It was simple back then. No trucks were involved. And no one died due to unregulated fresh food.
Now a dozen eggs you buy at your grocery store has nearly one-hundred separate taxes on them from the time they leave the brooders to the wholesalers, and then are trucked down the highway to your grocery store, and out through their check-out line to your refrigerator at home. That is a main reason why eggs went from less than 50 cents a dozen back then to over $2.00 a dozen now. Those laying hens didn’t raise their prices one bit.
Big government defenders will talk about the many benefits all of those taxes bring the common American persons; but then I don’t want to get into $70.00 screwdrivers, $800.00 toilet stool seats, etc. That mainly comes under the silent government annual budget practice of “use it or lose it.”
All of these taxes will still be in place when “the evil trinity” takes complete control over this tax-everything world. The gestapo won’t have to buy anything. They will just take what they want. Antichrist will be signing government contracts, but his signature on anything won’t be worth a plugged nickel. And who in their right mind will argue the matter with him? They will love him and will follow him in whatever he dictates and wherever he goes. If they don’t, it’s bad news for them!
His gestapo will run wild. They won’t need money for anything. They will walk into a nice expensive hotel and take any room they want, vacant or not. They will dine on the finest meals free of charge and spend all night in their bar on the house tab. Who would dare hand them a check or bill? And talk about lousy tippers!
When the sudden urge for sex hits them, they’ll just grab the first man, woman or child they see and take it. Lawlessness will be the law of the land. So run for the hills.
Those that are destined to be left behind don’t have to be. The easy way to become tax free forever is to escape all of that and enter paradise at the rapture.
The upcoming piece in this article entitled “Great new TV Programs” just might seem to some of you as being a bit silly. Some might say “highly exaggerated.” But silly might become serious, and exaggerated might become the reality of the day. Fact is, it will definitely be quite mild compared to the real tribulation period (see the “Really spreading the gospel” in the #34 article).
Dr. McGee ended his sermon on the “Struggle of a saved soul” with the words, “Worry about nothing; pray about everything.” If you are in the presence of God, you will have no worries whatsoever, including taxes.
“The evil trinity” won’t have a problem with a lack of money. Their main problem will be “the lack of God.” They will make an effort to convince those left behind that their riches and prosperity are at this present time here on earth. Those in the wilderness might be free from those deceiving and tricky messages awaiting the Lord’s Second Coming.
Great new TV programs
While all of you who are left behind who are now recently accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior but still praying that this 7-year tribulation period would soon end, you have a very bright future awaiting you in due time. But be patient yet careful, and make good decisions.
Sure, you are developing many more painful blisters on your already sore and aching hands while your arms, shoulders and back are using muscles you didn’t know you had – as you chop more wood from fallen trees to build your stockpile of firewood you and your group of 10-12 will need for this upcoming winter in the wilderness.
You need to take a break from your wood-chopping chores and sit back with a nice icy-cold root beer and watch a little TV. Or maybe catch up on your texting. Or skype some of your friends.
But wait a minute! You are digitally free from the outside world now (see #30), and you didn’t bring any root beer and ice in your Bug-Out backpack.
But it’s just as well that you won’t have a TV or else you could follow the antichrist making his PR and PC rounds.
Let’s see now. This morning, antichrist will be on “The View.” They sure love him there. Later on tonight he will be making the late-night talk show circuit starting with Jimmy Kummel. And this weekend he will be the guest host on “Saturday Night Live” (SNL). Word has it that former SNL comedian and sex pervert Al Franken will return for that show in a skit where he sneaks up on a sleeping Stormy Daniels.
That antichrist guy is loved and cheered everywhere he goes. And the TV ratings zoom through the roof for the shows he is on. And I am sure Barack and Michelle Obama are working hard to get him on their “Higher Ground Productions” series to talk about “new fresh political leadership in America.”
A new in-depth political talk show will air that they claim is loaded with traditional conservative viewpoints and is called “The Airhead Factor,” and will be hosted by America’s favorite little darling, Nancy Pelosi, who will explain our many political and social errors of the past.
She will also announce the winner of this week’s abortion lottery (Ellen Luciferenski of Hellsville, California). She/he had the lucky 1,000th abortion this week and wins a 2-week second honeymoon with its he/she ex-spouse Anderson Gayway of Hadesville, New York. They are separated at the present time and planning a divorce, but will get back together for the second honeymoon event since it’s free and paid for by their sponsors at MSNBC.
“The Airhead Factor” will also announce the latest political and social breaking news of the day. Following their beloved evolutionary reality event of ridding this planet of all those pesky haters who called themselves “Christians,” the White House was nearly emptied; so an emergency national election was held with Democrat Hilary Clinton becoming the 46th President of the United States in a landslide victory with 97% of the vote over converted Republican candidate Bernie Sanders with 3%. Her running mate and the new Vice President is Joy Behar who will still appear and make a fool of herself on “The View.”
Following the final election results, Hilary went into a rage over Bernie getting 3% of the vote and ordered him in front of her own personal firing squad for an executive branch attitude adjustment procedure. She just wants to make everything “right!”
About half of the Supreme Court justices “disappeared,” so Hillary started replacing them herself, doing away with that time-consuming Senate approval thing. She announced three new appointees immediately with the new chief justice being George Soros. She also appointed Whoopi Goldberg and Keith Ellison to the court.
Other first-day appointments by Hillary consist of Al Gore to head the Environmental Protection Agency, Hilary’s husband Bill Clinton as the new Attorney General, and Maxine Waters as the new Secretary of State. Hillary’s co-chief advisors and councils will be Louis Farrakhan and Elizabeth Warren. She is eliminating the Department of Veterans Affairs altogether. Rosie O’Donnell will become the new Secretary of Education.
Golly! Gee whiz! See what you’re missing? Now go back and chop some more firewood. It is going to be a long, cold winter in that lonely open cave.
More Solar Water distilling info
I did a section on building your own solar water distilling box in article #28, but am adding this info for those that want to purchase a ready-made unit, plus the fact that distilling ocean or sea salt water into drinkable water is a must for many. Any water you need to distill for drinking purposes needs to be run through a strainer or filter first to get as much of the crud out as you can before you start the distilling process.

Prayer Requests Suggestions
Hi Dick, have just prayed through your prayer requests listed at the end of your ATR #29 article and wondered if you’d think it helpful to suggest scripture prayers to those sending in prayer requests. I do this in my daily prayer times, and it’s easy to “google” verses specific to prayer needs. Here’s a few salvation ones I’ve been using:
Colossians 2:15 “And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”

Prayer Requests
Please note that I frequently rerun prayer requests for good reason. (1) Some readers might have missed it the first time it ran. (2) It never hurts to pray for the same things over again. God does not get weary with too many prayers. (3) The more we pray, the farther down the hole we stuff Satan. All prayer gets good results. There is no such thing as too much prayer.
I would also appreciate it if those of you who send in prayer requests would get back with me when you see good results from the group prayer. Just a quick email. I like to run these results as it is an encouragement to those who are praying for you and yours plus also encourages others to send in prayer requests as they see others getting positive results. Please pray for all the people and pastors who are FALLING AWAY from God’s Word in today’s churches. Pray that the Holy Spirit will turn them around in the right direction and follow God instead of chasing the cares of the world. Also pray for those who don’t know the true God at all and those who follow false gods, that they will know the truth and come to His Saving Grace.

(Dick’s comments) Colleen hasn’t lost the focus and will to how to be a testimony for Christ. People who have lost their focus and will can’t write a prayer such as what Colleen just did. Satan is the author of confusion and it is he who tricks people into believing they have lost their focus and will. If Colleen wasn’t doing God’s Will, Satan wouldn’t be battling her so fiercely trying to convince her otherwise and for her to just shut-up. But Colleen is a true prayer warrior who doesn’t let illness and physical ailments stop her from serving God and being a strong witness.

CYNTHIA is most grateful for everyone’s prayers for her family, and she reports that her daughter is now getting close to Christ Jesus. Please pray for this to continue and for Cynthia’s atheist son’s eyes and heart to be opened to the gospel of Christ. There are also health concerns for her daughter and concerns for her grandson as well, who is unhappy with his atheist dad and his live-in girlfriend. God knows all the details involved, and He loves prayers.
THE USA NEEDS GUIDANCE from God’s Holy Spirit to lead many lost people to God’s Saving Grace. The president and his family along with the vice-president and his family need protection from Satan and their deceiving ways as our nation’s leadership tries to lead this country back closer to God. The president’s administration and staff are under continuous attack from the earthly forces of the devil and need God’s help to battle through these evil forces to do what is righteous for Americans in the eyes of God (Daniel 2:21). So please pray for the entire Trump administration as they try to follow and enforce God’s Laws and Commandments.
Also pray for America’s many enemies and adversaries within the USA and from the four corners of the earth that they will come to Jesus Christ and their hearts will be changed for the good, and away from evil.
MATT JACKSON requests prayer for the Rohr family and their daughter Rachel. He also wishes the Lord would find a way for him to come into contact with this family again so he can continue to witness the ways of the Lord to them.
DICK wants to express his sincere appreciation to those who have prayed for the salvation of his family and his improving health. Some of his family members are really coming alive spiritually, and it is easy to witness to them now and answer their questions. But please continue to pray for them as some are not on solid ground yet.
Dick is also requesting prayer for his long-time school classmate Jim Harris who has recently rejected Dick’s efforts at witnessing the Word of God to him.
The doctors told Dick he is showing improvements health-wise. Pray his health will still improve as he has been taken off the antibiotics. Dick does not fear death as he knows eternal life awaits him. But he prays to God he can be raptured by Our Lord while still alive on earth rather than raptured out of the grave, as he wants to do the Lord’s Work up until the very second Christ calls him home (Philippians 1: 23-24).
PAULA PARSONS is requesting more prayer for her good friend Nicky White as she undergoes her second round of chemotherapy. She was violently sick after the first round.
Paula is also very thankful that your prayers have led her dad Tony to finally accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Continue to pray for him so as to help him grow stronger in his faith.
Her sister-in-law Val is now going to church and is asking questions about the Lord and finds a huge peace there, but has yet to accept Jesus into her heart. Please pray for Val that the Holy Spirit will guide her down this straight and narrow road to eternal salvation in heaven.
Paula also wants to thank all who prayed for her daughter Rachel who is now a follower of Jesus Christ. Let her grow rapidly in her faith and become a strong prayer warrior for those who need prayer.
Rachel and Paula both are requesting prayer for the health and saintly well-being of Paula’s mum/Rachel’s grandmother. She is yet to come to Jesus as her Savior, thus is still suffering violent dreams and haunting nightmares along with intense fears of death, all of which is placed in her mind by Satan as she sleeps. When she awakes, Satan has placed the fears of death in her heart and soul. Pray that she will soon accept Jesus and that Our Lord and His restraining Holy Spirit will place barriers around her to block all of Satan’s evil tricks and deceptions. Our Lord will protect those who belong to Him.
