As Wise As Serpents and As Harmless as Doves :: By Geri Ungurean

A very wise brother in Christ told me something that I really needed to hear. First let me tell the reader what happened and the effect it had on me. A few days ago, I created a Facebook group titled “Stop Transgender Indoctrination of our Children.” Within a day, the group had over 200 Christians who had joined.

Then today, the group got this message from Facebook:

“Group Under Review:

STIC: Stop Transgender Indoctrination of Children has been disabled because it has content that goes against the Community Standards on hate speech. We remove hate speech which includes content that directly attacks people based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, sex, gender or gender identity, or serious disabilities or diseases. Organizations or people dedicated to promoting hatred of these protected groups are not allowed a presence on Facebook.”

The group has been shut down by Facebook.

Anyone who has been following my articles of late has most likely seen that this transgender indoctrination of little children has really done me in. I’ve lain in my bed talking to God, asking Him how He could allow this. The little children Lord! How can this happen?

Large millstones hung about a person’s neck and drowned in the depth of the sea keep coming to mind.

The words of my brother in Christ

It was Tony Koretz of aminutetomidnite.com who said the words which the Lord gave to him for me. Here is what he said:

“The noose is tightening as they remove all rights to disagree with the NWO agenda in all its forms; and if we want to let our voices be heard, remember Jesus said be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. I think at this time now, we have to listen to the Holy Spirit asking guidance as to what to say or not say, what tags to use on things we say and what tags will get us banned. Eventually we will be silenced, but we still have a bit of time if we use wisdom on how to go about things. But ultimately they are calling evil good and calling good as evil!”

The Time has indeed come

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,  traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” (2 Timothy 3:1-5).

“Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:12-15).

“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves” (Matthew 10:16).

Sharing the Gospel of Christ is of utmost importance

When Tony shared those words with me, I knew that they were from God. I am still hurting for the innocent children. I still grieve over the aborted babies. Inside, I rage against the evil one for what he is doing to the people on this earth.

I loathe George Soros, but I’m still aware that our Lord could save even him. If he saved Saul of Tarsus who had slaughtered Christians, yet became Paul, the greatest Evangelist who ever lived – He can certainly save George Soros. We should pray for him.

I remain angry at the United Nations and their NWO schemes. But these things are all part of prophecy, and they must happen.

And I can’t promise the readers that I won’t write articles filled with righteous indignation! Remember Jesus turning over the tables in the Temple?

But I agree with my brother Tony that the time has come for Christians to carefully choose our words if we are speaking on social media. We are very close to being completely silenced, but we must be able to share the Gospel.

The only way a person’s heart can be changed is if that person is born again. And the only way that can happen is if the person hears the Gospel of Jesus Christ and believes it and embraces it.

Think about the people in your life who need to hear the Gospel.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek” (Romans 1:16).

The Great Commission

As the followers of our Lord Jesus were listening to Him right before He was about to ascend to heaven, they heard Him say this:

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen” (Matthew 28:18-20).

We know that eventually we will be silenced. Even if we speak as harmless as doves – we will still be silenced. But until that time, let us ask the Holy Spirit to help us to choose our words carefully on Social Media.

Oh Father, help me to choose my words wisely as I speak to the lost about You. Help me to be wise and clever but at the same time help me to be harmless and gentle and innocent as a dove.

Let me always speak the truth in love so that my words might win many for your Kingdom. I love You Lord. I never want You to be ashamed of me.

Help me with every step I take. I ask You this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
