I wrote a piece earlier this year titled, “A Masterpiece of Propaganda.” In essence, the article recalled the life of Joseph Goebbels, Adolf Hitler’s Minister of Propaganda.
Minister of Propaganda! Now there is a title that fits perfectly in 2018. So many ministers, or purveyors of this rising heap of false information. It is circulated through the mainstream media faster than a full-blown case of Ebola. I honestly don’t think most of the journalists even care that their narratives are false, or even complete lies for that matter. The news, for the most part, is something we cannot trust. Isn’t truth in reporting supposed to be a core standard of ethics in journalism? I’m pretty sure I read that somewhere.
I feel the need to repeat my definition of propaganda:
“Propaganda: truth is removed and a lie has been propped up in its place. – “ Famous quote by Sally Law, a regular person.
Here is how it happens: The truth has to be removed. This is first and foremost. It is bashed to pieces, obliterated, then killed. A lie is quickly propped up in its place. The lie is retold over and over. The news plays the same song repeatedly, to the point where most of the population can’t remember any other tune. The populous is washed— brainwashed of conscious moral truth.
And as we see here in 2018, lies are propagated over and over—even more so as this year has moved along.
Unfortunately, more people have moved over into this false information camp. We can’t even confirm a Supreme Court nominee because of the questionable accusations thrown against him, amazingly at the last moment. The mainstream media has failed to mention that the FBI did an investigation on the alleged sexual assault, and it was closed. This nominee is an enemy to liberals, is pro-life, and is a defender of the constitution. I just recently read an article quoting a female law clerk for Judge Kavanaugh, defending his character.
“A majority of his clerks have been women,” she said. “What that means is that Judge Kavanaugh is really contributing to diversifying this segment of the legal profession. He’s doing that by hiring women as law clerks, but then also by mentoring them and advocating for them throughout their careers.”

This article was just one of many that I read about the judge and his upstanding character.
This drama continues with Judge Kavanaugh as I am writing this. Hopefully, the truth will come forth in this matter.
One more thing about propaganda, just in case I haven’t persuaded you just yet:
There will come a time where two things will happen to these promoters of propaganda.
First, they will lose their ability to be just. To be just, you must discern what the truth is and recognize it when you see and hear it.
Hitler and the Nazis descended into injustice very rapidly, unable to see the monsters they had become. Justice was far from Germany in those days. They deceived, killed, destroyed, and robbed their way through Europe.
Sixty to eighty million was the estimated death toll of WW II. That total included all the sickness and famine that compounded the fatalities of war. How did this horrible war start? Propaganda!
And, the second thing is this: You and I have to stand before God. He has a high court; and when He opens His books, the book of life, liars and the worst kinds of people won’t be in there.
Let’s look, because the Bible is clear about this—crystal clear—about this day in the future. God, by the way, keeps excellent records. No one escapes this day that has refused the truth.
“Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:11-15).
The only way to be righteous, to do good and be truthful in this world, is to possess one thing—the righteousness Jesus alone can give. It is a gift all Christians receive at salvation. Look at this:
Romans 5:19 says, “For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.”
And—
2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
My personal favorite—
Romans 10:9-10 says, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Jesus imparts righteous or right-standing with God immediately at salvation.
A person who is a liar cannot uphold truth. It is impossible. Only a righteous one will ever be capable of doing such a thing.
It is a righteous act to uphold, report, and side with the truth. Christ is the only way to attain the necessary righteousness.
I hope you know Him, dear reader – I do with all my heart. If you are a writer, freelancer, journalist, historian or blogger: Always seek the truth and then report it. You will be hated by the wicked; absolutely no doubt about that.
But, you will have something of lasting value as you uphold righteousness. And when you stand before God, you’ll be glad you made that choice.
