So Texas Representative Beto O’Rourke questioned whether a document which is 230 years old can still “manage” the U.S. – The Constitution
I’ll give him one thing: He is saying what all Leftist liberals are thinking.
Oh, how I would love to have a sit-down with this man and discuss our Constitution. I think that if he was asked what kind of government we have, Beto would say “We’re a democracy.” That’s the Snowflake answer.
Nope, Mr. O’Rourke – we are a Democratic Republic, and that is vastly different from a pure democracy.
We are governed by a body of laws which are stated articulately in our Constitution. There are ways to “amend” this document, but it has to be through legislation and then, upon ratification, a new amendment will be added. Mr. O’Rourke fails to recognize that our Constitution IS what sets us apart from other governments.
Benjamin Franklin
Upon exiting the Constitutional Convention of 1787, Benjamin Franklin was asked what type of government we had. His famous response to the woman who asked the question was, “A Republic – if you can keep it.”
Franklin had a brilliant mind and obviously knew the heart of man. He knew that:
- Our Republic was the best form of government ever established.
- Keeping our Republic would entail guarding our Constitution against usurpers who would be bent on the destruction of this great country.
Franklin was thinking of people like Beto O’Rourke and actually the rest of the Leftwing liberals. If our Founding Fathers could see what is happening within our government in this present day, they would mourn. They would see the “Writing on the wall” that our Republic was in trouble.
Our founders would also be appalled that Muslims were being sworn into governmental positions. They knew that Muslims had their own totalitarian system which could eventually cause sharia law to chip away at our Constitution, and finally destroy it.

BETO’S BOMBSHELL: O’Rourke Questions Whether the CONSTITUTION Can Still ‘Manage’ USA
Texas Representative Beto O’Rourke bizarrely questioned the founding principles of the nation this week, asking if a document drafted “230 years ago” could effectively “manage” the United States of America.
O’Rourke was speaking with the Washington Post when he was asked to comment on whether the US could handle “sweeping change” championed by the progressive wing of the Democratic Party.
“I’m hesitant to answer it because I really feel like it deserves its due, and I don’t want to give you a – actually, just selfishly, I don’t want a sound bite of it reported, but, yeah, I think that’s the question of the moment: Does this still work?” O’Rourke said.
“Can an empire like ours with military presence in over 170 countries around the globe, with trading relationships . . . and security agreements in every continent, can it still be managed by the same principles that were set down 230-plus years ago?” he asked. source
I am sorry to have to be this blunt, but that question posed by Mr. O’Rourke is STUPID and quite ignorant. It shows clearly that this man has no grip or knowledge on the history of America. It also gives us a glimpse at what is in the heart of this man, and that is to disparage our Constitution in hopes of being instrumental in destroying our foundation.
Benjamin Franklin knew it. Conservatives of today know it.
Knowing that we are in the last of the last days, it is quite feasible that we are close to witnessing the demise of America. I know that is such a sad thing to even speak about.
But we as Christians know that all Bible prophecy will be fulfilled to the letter.
