Prayer and Faith
For those of you who seem to struggle with your prayer life, here are some suggestions on what you feel is going wrong with what you perceive as “unanswered prayer.” Instead of me writing an extensive article on the situation, I would prefer that you read (if you haven’t already) an excellent Rapture Ready post by Nathele Graham entitled “Prayer and Faith” at this link:
Nathele is a Bible scholar that is a clear thinking, to-the-point teacher of Biblical fact that is 100% true to God’s Word. As I’ve written before, Satan is the master of deception and the father of all lies. If you or anyone else tells a lie, it was Satan that led you or them to do it.
I don’t know how many times I have quoted John 14:14 in which Jesus said, “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I shall do it.” But I am beginning to wonder if any of it is sticking to the wall? To those who pray earnestly and faithfully to our Lord yet continue to worry and fret over the eternal destiny of family, friends, loved ones, etc., I ask you what part of that Bible verse spoken by Jesus do you not accept or understand? Could it be you lack faith and trust in Our Lord’s promises?
I don’t mean to be “in your face” on this matter but I remember the time when I was in the same boat. All of these doubts and lack of faith comes directly from the devil. After I realized God’s truth and it all sunk in, it was like a ton of bricks had been lifted off of my back. My prayers were no longer stressing me out. I now enjoy my regular conversations with the Father and His Son. That’s the way He wants it to be. The blessed Trinity loves sincere and happy communications with its creation. Ask and you shall receive!

Prayer Requests
Hi Dick,
I would like a new prayer request for my friend Nicky White. She recently overcame lung cancer and had her lung removed. After much prayer she made a full recovery and all scan results showed she was totally cured. However, Nicky went on holiday to Cape Verde and was taken ill. She collapsed and had a big seizure. She was released from hospital to be flown home but whilst flying had another massive seizure and was taken to Tenerife where she remains in hospital as of 27th Feb. They have discovered two lesions on her brain. They hope to return her to the UK soon for further tests and treatment. Could everyone reading this please pray for her.

Dear Mr. Ainsworth,
I pray each day for God’s will, His protection and direction in the lives of our family. Sometimes it is put on my heart to pray for family members and friends in particular:
Sisters Debbie, Cindy, Joy and Lea and their spouses and family members; my mother, safety and protection, sisters-in-law and their families. Also, our son Rich and his fiancé’ Erica to repent and marry; for their teenage daughters, Maddy, Olivia and a little son, Mason, who is in need of a kidney (he is 2½ yrs. old). Our two daughters: Nichole, husband Tony, boys Charles, Spencer, Joshua, and baby Carson; and our other daughter Krystal, husband Ivor, children, Gwen, little Ivor and Fiona. We Pray for protection and direction in their lives. I ask this all in Jesus’ precious name. May we all hear the Trumpet sound together….well, that would be ideal and a blessing from God.
Also our president and his family, and our nation to come to Christ. We can’t change Bible prophecy… what God says will happen… but we can pray more and more people will come to repentance, and I pray for ALL Salvation in Jesus Christ.
We pray for the Rapture Ready website to continue, Lord willing, to help plant the seeds and the Holy Spirit to reach those in need of God’s Grace.

Thank you so much for the Rapture Ready Prayer Lists.
Please pray for my friend’s unequally yoked marriage, that he would treat her better and be convicted and saved, that she would “win him over without a word” by her “chaste and respectful behavior” (1st Peter 3:1-2) and that God would guide her, comfort her, strengthen her and fulfill her unmet emotional needs through Christian friendships.
Praise God for 23 teens that were saved at a county-wide local youth rally this past weekend! Please pray they would be discipled and would grow, and that they would all have strong Christian friendships and stay away from friendships that could lead them astray. Please pray that the churches and youth groups they represent would all be encouraged, strengthened and set on fire for the Lord.
Please pray for my daughter, brother, and some other family members to be saved, and for my backslidden family members to repent and get set on fire for God again.

Hi Brother Dick,
I heard you are not doing well again and so will be praying for you as we all need you here to carry on doing the great work you are doing for the Lord.
I want to ask for prayer for a friend called Corrie. She is 63 years old and has been diagnosed with stage four cancer. The cancer is in her rectum, colon, one lung, vagina wall, lymph nodes and liver. Her family is battling with such hectic news. She has been in hospital since end December and not much has been done!
Recently the growth in the rectum has started popping out of her. Doctor simply said more worried about her liver than that? She can’t sit or lie down with so much pain and bleeding.
Now doctor told family she has three tumors in liver and they want to do radiation and chemo to see if tumors shrink or if they have to operate. Her daughter Jen is starting to wonder if any truth is being really told to them about the gravity of the situation. Corrie is weak due to blood loss and has lost a lot of weight.
Prayers for her would be appreciated. Many blessings to you and to our prayer warriors worldwide.

At the end of year 2018, the world population was 7.7 billion. Of that, over 2 billion are Christians, Catholics and Jews. And many Catholics believe eternal salvation is through their church, the virgin Mary, dead popes and other Catholic saints. They pray the over 60 beads on their rosaries in which 53 are Hail Mary’s plus praying to a multitude of statues and paintings (graven images in violation of the 2nd Commandment in Exodus 20:4-5). But some Catholics are born-again.
There are many Christian denominations, but many teach other ways to heaven besides the literal Bible’s “only one way.” Thus, many are lukewarm – wallowing in prosperity gospels and “tickle-the-ears” sermons.
Most traditional Old Testament Jews don’t recognize Jesus’ first coming and sacrifice on the cross, thus are still waiting 2,000 years later for His Coming. But some Jews have accepted the New Testament teachings.
The remaining over 5 billion on earth are made up of Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, atheists, agnostics, secular humanists, communists, socialists, devil worshippers and a host of other cults, religions, etc.
So after the rapture, there will arguably be well over 5 billion left-behind souls without a single born-again Christian in sight. Five billion lost souls are a lot bunched up in one place under the rule of Satan and his antichrist and the false prophet. One might say the 5 billion won’t stand a chance at eternal happiness? But God is still in charge of all, plus the 5 billion still have free choice for the next 7 years to either accept or reject Jesus.
Yes, we all need to pray on this now, but the crazy uncles now on earth need to be filling left-behind boxes and vacant rooms and buildings with supplies, tools, equipment, etc.
So pray for God’s protective hand to protect the crazy uncles, lay ministers, pastors, missionaries and all who are spreading the Good News in these end times. Protect the supplies, tools, equipment and especially the Bible and teaching materials that they don’t fall into evil hands.
Also pray that of the over 5 billion left behind, that a huge number will come to accept Jesu Christ as their Lord and Savior.

I’m praying for you, your wife, and your unsaved family members. What an encouragement you are to me with your articles, and I knew nothing about our articles that get translated into 60 languages. I’m blown away. That encourages me so much. I just sent one in to (editor) Cynthia: “It is Well With My Soul: Is it?” Read it and tell me what you think.
I want to encourage people and bring the Gospel. I’m 66 and just started writing a few months ago with a humble talent that I didn’t know I had; but God did. I have no formal English writing skills, but God uses the lowly. As long as He gets the Glory. Bless you brother and your wife. Hang in there. He’s not done with us yet.

(Dick’s reply) You may think you have no writing skills but the Holy Spirit has plenty for all of us to use. Don’t sweat being age 66 and now getting started. Moses was 88 before he really caught on fire.
Your articles are very good, in my opinion, so I urge you to keep doing what you are doing. It takes many different writers/teachers with different writing skills, styles and tones to make Rapture Ready the largest Bible Prophecy website worldwide and Biblically accurate. I just marvel at how God has put us all together (technology, writers, teachers, readers). Being a part of that is God’s will to be guided by the Holy Spirit. We are on the winning team. No way Satan can topple us. But that red-tailed dummy keeps punching away thinking that he can.
I really want to thank you for the personal prayers for my family and their complete eternal salvation. I really can’t put into words how much that means to me.

Please put my brother, Mike, on your prayer list. He is not saved, and I witnessed to him soon after I got saved over the phone because he lives in Colorado and I live in Indiana. But, about a year later, I visited him in Colorado and was able to talk to him face-to-face. He has had several tragic life experiences that should have sent him straight to his knees, but he has struggled on so far, still without surrendering to Christ Jesus. He and I were blessed with a mother that gave us biblical background by taking us to church when we were kids; and he does “believe” in his head but has not believed in his heart. He has no excuse other than he is stubborn and unwilling to accept God’s gift of salvation. I have done a good job of witnessing and talking to him in the last 10 years.
Please pray for him. I don’t know what it is going to take. I just know I pray for him, and it brings me such sorrow to think that he might not make that decision before it is too late.

(Dick’s reply) First, I suggest you read the Nathele Graham article from the opening remarks in this article. A link to that article is included.
Secondly, I repeat this often, but I believe firmly that we need to follow and believe the promised Word of Jesus Himself that is written down in John 14:14: “If you shall ask any thing in my Name, I shall do it.” (emphasis mine)
As Nathele Graham said in her above-mentioned article, she basically said that too many people feel their prayers go no higher than their ceiling. Since many lukewarm people don’t pray for themselves, it is up to the prayer warriors to pray in the way the Bible tells us. We must do the praying for them.
Your 10 years of witnessing tells me he is listening to you, so your words are not lost or wasted. People change their minds frequently. So keep doing what you are doing. The all-powerful Holy Spirit is on your side.

There are many false religions in this world; we need to pray for their enlightenment. But this prayer is directed to Catholics that we need to urge to follow God’s Law rather than man’s law out of the Vatican in Rome.

“Skeptics love to point to the atrocities committed by the RCC (Roman Catholic Church) in years past as proof that Christianity has failed humanity. They ignorantly lump Christianity into religion as if attending church services were how someone becomes saved. I always counter (as should you), that Roman Catholicism is not Christian. It calls itself that, and perhaps some are born-again who still reside inside that system, but the system itself is not. When you look at the tenets Roman Catholicism holds to, you would see it is just another works-based religion. Christianity is a grace through faith-based relationship with the Creator of the Universe. One can make you a moral person (theoretically), while the latter can save to the uttermost even the most wretched of sinners.”
I have several Catholic members in my family that say “Dick is a born-again” and then laugh. This after I have presented to them the following words out of Jesus’ mouth (John 3:2-18):
“The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
“Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
“Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. It can’t be any clearer directly from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You either believe and follow His Word, or you don’t. So all worldwide prayer warriors are urged to pray for all Catholics that they will follow God instead of men.

Also fulfill motor bikes repairs. We plan to purchase PA System for Gospel Outreach purpose. We have to meet some more needs, too. Pray for the Pastors Library; it is more blessing to the Young Pastors and others.
We conducted Prayer day and Gospel outreach Camps. Bible Study meetings for edification of Believers and Youth and Kids. Today Lords Day; we are going to worship the Lord.

Good Evening,
I have been wondering if you, or someone, might address this (below) in the Rapture Ready articles? It makes me grieve.
I live in New Mexico (Albuquerque), and I feel like I have a knot in my throat. My husband is a police officer (32 years), and I am an elementary school teacher. What this will do to our state is not good. I was praying and wondering what this is all about. A thought came to me that this “marijuana segway/avenue” will dumb people down so much that they will be too looped up and will give way to receiving a “chip” in their hand or on their forehead.
Any thoughts towards this?

We must all keep President Trump, his family, staff and administration in our prayers regularly that the Holy Spirit of God will continue to lead them in His end-times plan for His creation on earth. May they continue to defend Christians and Jews from all over the world and also continue to be a role model and example for the world.
When the world sees the economic success and prosperity to America caused by the Trump policies in spite of intense resistance and planned obstructions by Satan’s human forces on earth, many will come to God and reject the devil, as the wrong way is the wrong way. Pray that this will happen soon.

Prayer List info and guidance
A good way to build a stronger prayer life is to print off hard copies of Prayer Lists #1 thru #12 and following, and at any time of day or night when you as an individual want to pray to the Lord, take out your printed copies and read/pray over them again. This is also great for family group prayer and home-church group prayer. God has a very big memory, and all prayers are recorded by Our Lord and Savior.
