Extreme Weather
In the US, an outbreak of severe weather that began last weekend continued this week, and is expected to continue into Monday. There have been close to 50 tornadoes from EFO to EF3, and widespread destruction. Over a dozen people have died and dozens more have been injured.
South Asia: Thunderstorms, dust storms, strong winds and heavy rain affected several states in India and Pakistan this week, damaging homes and downing trees. Over 100 people lost their lives. In neighboring Afghanistan, at least 16 people have died in flash floods in Herat and Nangarhar Provinces.
Earthquakes
In Taiwan, a strong 6.1 earthquake shook the city of Taipei on Thursday, evacuating schools and halting transportation. 17 people were injured, including a hiker who is in critical condition after being hit by falling rocks.
In California, a cluster of small earthquakes shook the Santa Cruz Mountains on Thursday. The San Andreas fault runs through the region. In 1906, the fault produced a magnitude 7.9 earthquake that killed more than 3,000 people and destroyed 28,000 buildings.
Pestilence/Plague/Disease
A locust outbreak in the Arabian Peninsula has been spreading to Iran, threatening crops and food security.
New battleground for syphilis: While syphilis is still concentrated in cities such as San Francisco, Atlanta and Las Vegas, it is spreading in rural America: places like Missouri, Iowa, Kansas and Oklahoma. For example: One Missouri clinic has seen over six times as many cases in the first few months of 2019 compared with the same period last year.
So far this year, there have been 465 cases of measles reported in 19 states. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that with the Easter holiday weekend, the measles outbreak is expected to spread even further.
The CDC says 2019 appears to be the worst year for measles cases in a quarter-century. In California, a Google employee in California has been diagnosed with measles. A company physician sent out a “note of caution” to certain employees informing them of the information and providing links to CDC facts about the highly infectious disease.
New York City closed a Brooklyn yeshiva’s preschool for defying a Health Department order to provide medical and attendance records regarding measles vaccinations.
Madagascar is said to be facing the largest measles outbreak in its history, as cases are said to have grown beyond 115,000, with over 1,200 deaths in the past seven months.
Apostasy in the Churches
A survey of 2,042 British adults was carried out by ComRes on behalf of the BBC and asked participants, “To what extent, if at all, do you agree or disagree that Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected so that you can be forgiven for your sins?” Out of the respondents who identified as Christian, a quarter said they neither disagreed nor agreed, while 17% who identified as Christian said they did not agree.
Hatred of All That Claims to Be Christian

The terrorist group ISIS reportedly celebrated the destruction of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France that caught fire Monday. And those tweets by Muslims, despite what the mainstream media tells you, are true. A later video showed what was actually said in those laughing emoji posts.
Just two days after the Notre Dame fire in Paris, a statue of Mary was decapitated in a small French village, despite being made of cast iron with metal reinforcements. It’s the latest in a deluge of attacks on churches and cemeteries in France.
New Jersey philosophy professor Marc Lamparello was arrested after entering St. Patrick’s Cathedral carrying cans of gasoline, lighter fluid and butane lighters. He had also booked a flight to Rome. NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence and Counterterrorism John Miller said the suspect is known to police. He is currently being held for psychiatric evaluation.
Muslim Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar called the Notre Dame Cathedral “art and architecture” Monday, without referencing its name or significance to the Catholic religion.
Democrat presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg, an openly gay Episcopalian, said Democrats ought to woo the “religious left” to counter the voting power of conservative Christians. He said Democrats should not be afraid to argue that the “Christian faith is going to point you in a progressive direction.” Democrats’ relationship with the faith? In 2012, Democrats snubbed religious voters by removing language about God from their party’s platform. They later put it back amid vocal protests from the convention floor.
Hatred of the Jewish People and Israel
A man in northern France (who has not been named) stabbed his neighbor 15 times in the stomach and face because (as he told witnesses) he “wanted to kill a Jew.” The victim (who is not Jewish) was saved by a friend, who was with him at the time of the assault and came between the victim and the attacker. The attacker also attacked two policemen while attempting to escape from a hospital where he was scheduled to undergo hand surgery. He also was scheduled to undergo psychiatric evaluation to determine whether he is criminally responsible.
The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill hosted the “Conflict Over Gaza: People, Politics, and Possibilities conference,” cosponsored by Duke University and funded in part by a federal grant of some $235,000. In a performance at this event, the anti-Zionist Israeli-Arab rapper Tamer Nafar called on the audience to be anti-Semitic and said, “Let’s try it together. I need your help because I cannot be anti-Semitic alone.” Nafar continued, “You look beautifully anti-Semitic.”
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is at it again. She’s saying that cutting US aid to Israel should be a policy consideration because of Netanyahu’s reelection.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said there’s no ‘taint’ of anti-Semitism in the Democrat Party. She even defended Ilhan Omar during an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, saying that she didn’t think that Omar was anti-Semitic when it’s so obvious that she is.
In Russia, an arson fire was set at the largest Jewish yeshiva in the country just ahead of the Passover celebration. Swastikas were also sprayed on the seminary.

The International Union of Muslim scholars is urging Imams to preach armed jihad against Israel. According to Islam’s teachings in the Hadith, Islam’s esteemed prophet Muhammad said: “The Hour will come only when the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them; and if a Jew hides behind a rock or a tree, the rock or tree will say: Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him….” Yet the media continues the false narrative that Allah is the same as the God of the Bible. They LIE.
Their version of Jesus is a Muslim who will force non-Muslims to bow to Islam or die. “Eesa…will kill him (Dajjal/false messiah) with his spear…and the Muslims who are with him (Eesa) will kill a great number of the Jews.” “Eesa ibn Maryam (Jesus, Son of Mary) will call the Jews to Islam.” Their Eesa lives for 40 years after that, then dies. People need to research and learn instead of believing everything they’re told.

Thomas Haldenwang of Germany’s domestic intelligence agency warned against the increasing threat posed by returning German citizens who joined ISIS jihadis in Syria and northern Iraq. The number of Islamist jihadis in Germany rose to 2,240 in 2018. Haldenwang said. “ISIS can launch an attack in Germany anytime.” These so-called citizens were let back in because Merkel’s government is not in the least concerned that they joined an entity that is avowedly at war with Germany and has repeatedly called for attacks on German civilians. Haldenwang “admitted it’s not possible for authorities to monitor all terror suspects.”

Ireland pleaded with Catholic religious orders on Wednesday to reveal where decades-old remains of all babies who died in their care are buried, after an official inquiry found they provided remarkably little evidence about their deaths. A report revealed that remains ranging in age from 35 fetal weeks to 3 years were stored in underground chambers at a former Catholic church-run Bon Secours home for unwed mothers, reviving anguish over how women and children were once treated at state-backed Roman Catholic institutions. 802 children died at the home in Tuam between 1925 and 1961, and some bodies are likely buried elsewhere on the site.
The latest report also found that over 3,000 children died in five other institutions over a similar time period. In one case, investigators could only establish where 64 of the 900 children recorded to have died at the County Cork home of Bessborough were buried, despite extensive searches.
