More hope for the Left-Behind

I need to get my 2-cents worth in on the disagreement amongst pastors, crazy uncles, believers in general, etc., about how much of a chance those left-behind have of being saved and enjoying eternal perfect salvation with their Lord Jesus Christ in heaven.

So many of the above feel that if one doesn’t go up in the rapture, they have little to no chance of being saved during the 7-year tribulation period. I respectfully disagree. In John’s written account in his observations recorded in the Book of Revelations plus Jesus’ revealing the future in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21, it was a lot more than preparing the left-behind for the rapture. There is much instruction as to what to do and what not to during the tribulation.

I agree the tribulation period will be a grim state of affairs, while going up in the rapture is a much easier and less painful way to ever be with the Lord. Antichrist (AC) will be revealed to my estimated 5 billion left-behind souls on earth, while His Church will be at their new permanent home in heaven.

But there will be other opportunities for the lukewarm and non-believers to finally get it right. Besides this being the last chance for the left-behind to be saved, this is also God’s last chance to convince them of His wonderful eternal promises awaiting the already born if they make the right choice.

I said “already born” so as not to exclude the many new souls to be born during the thousand-year millennium after the tribulation and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. See article #18 at this link for details:

I said “God’s last chance” for a reason. Our all-powerful God can blink his eye and all the left-behind could zoom on up into the clouds with the rest of us. But God doesn’t operate that way. Every living soul in His Creation has to choose His Son Jesus Christ as the only way to everlasting heaven (John 14:6).

One of the ways Father God offers the left-behind one last chance for salvation is the 144,000 Jewish witnesses who will spread the gospel to all who will listen in the tribulation world. They are sealed by God so antichrist (AC) and his gestapo cannot harm or kill them (Revelation 7:4, 14:1). If each one of the 144,000 only witnessed to one person a day for the 7 years, that is about 371.5 million. If my guesstimate of 5 billion left-behind is correct, that is 15 persons per Jewish witness.

Of course, many of the 5 billion will take the 666 mark (Revelation 13:8), so that 15-person figure will be greatly reduced. Those taking the 666 mark now have hardened hearts and are forever lost with no chance of redemption or forgiveness, as taking the 666 mark is the unforgivable sin (Mark 3:28-29, Luke 12:10). I believe the 144,000 will be able to easily find and witness to those new believers hiding from AC in the wilderness. God will provide the 144,000 with a GPS system that will be “out of this world”!

Another divine gift from God will be the two Old Testament prophets that will stand on the streets of Jerusalem for 3½ years of the tribulation period (Revelation 11:3). Many prophecy teachers believe they will preach the Gospel 24/7 on TV, internet, cell phone, etc., so the world will hear “The Good News.” But that is speculation. The lost will refer to their teachings as “torment.”

In previous articles in this series, I advised against the left-behind using TV, internet, etc., as AC can trace the wave signals from this technology to the users with ease, leading to their capture. AC and his gestapo are human beings, and there is nothing supernatural about them except for a few miracles God allows AC to get away with.

The two witnesses will be protected by God, and no harm will come to them until the 3½ years has ended. Efforts to kill or harm them will meet with harsh judgment on the spot. At the end of the 3½ years, God will allow AC to kill them and leave their bodies lying dead in the streets. But after 3½ days, the dead bodies will come to life and be raptured up into heaven. One would think this event would have a revival effect, but there will still be mockers and scoffers. Fact is, a number will rejoice and celebrate the death of the prophets by exchanging gifts! (Revelation 11:3-13).

Of course, the bulk of this series centers on crazy uncles, left-behind boxes, letters to loved ones, etc. There is much good to come from this as it is personal from family member and friends to each other. They are more apt to listen to family and friends than strangers. Much of what you say to them appears to be rejected, but you can’t reject something you didn’t hear. Something has to be sticking to the wall. The left-behind boxes and rooms will be valuable when they recall “what did my crazy uncle say about that?” after you suddenly disappear.

The rapture itself will be a great awakening event when they realize that good Christian people were the only ones who disappeared! The bad crazies are still here, so AC will start his lying tour early-on with his invented “fake news.”

So don’t put too much into going to hell if you miss the rapture. Missing the rapture is the hard way to do it, but better late and painful than never!

President Trump’s Christian walk grows

As I started writing this 63^rd edition of the After the Rapture series, I had just finished watching President Donald J. Trump and his family, staff and guests celebrate and honor the Annual National Day of Prayer (NDOP) at the White House. Such a grand celebration hosted by the president and his First Lady herself. It helped me erase the nasty anti-Christian/anti-Jews years of the morally and politically twisted Obama administration.

Obama was required by a law signed by Harry S. Truman in 1952 and all presidents since then that honored the law that blessed our God-given heritage and founding. America was truly a Christian nation.

Obama, however, made major changes by proclaiming many (mainly Muslims) would be offended by the NDOP, so he proclaimed to the world that “America was no longer a Christian nation.” So he did invent a new annual ceremony and event to honor Muslims on the White House grounds for each of all of his eight years in office. But that didn’t offend anyone? He said Christians and Jews were to pray to their God “privately”!

My own observation is that President Trump has grown in his Christian walk a great deal in his first 2½ years of office. I wasn’t really too sure about him in the beginning but, at this event, I left with the feeling he was now “one of us.”

Much of this can be accredited to the President surrounding himself with Christian believers on staff and cabinet. He is a good listener. I believe he believes the words he spoke at this NDOP ceremony. He isn’t a phony like some previous presidents. He brought the Bible, prayer, Our Lord and our faith back into the White House.

Satan and his imps are observing all of President Trump’s good works here on earth, and the forces of evil are not pleased one bit! I’m sure the evil ones are whispering into many of their human captives’ ears on ways to eliminate President Trump before the rapture. No one knows yet if they will be successful or not. But they will keep trying to get him out of office.

Which leads me to believe that he and many in his family and administration are prime candidates for the rapture as soon as possible. He is doing too much damage to their evil agenda candidates for the upcoming elections. When the rapture occurs, our lives surrounded in a world of hate, war and sin will be gone from us, and we will live forever in an eternity of perfection.

Those left behind will continue to live in this same present world that will be intense evil on steroids. That will be much worse than the times of Noah’s flood and the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. The Lord told us of this 2,000 years ago, but most of the world continues to shrug their shoulders. Of course, they also did the same shrugging before the flood and Sodom’s times.

I do hope and pray to God that all the countries of the world that presently have satanically influenced leadership, that the Lord will place new leaders in their places that will further lead their citizens towards God and His Way. A few of the countries that definitely need a change in leadership are Venezuela, Syria, Iran and North Korea. And I am asking the RR readership to join me in that same prayer.

Zombie-Proof real estate for sale!

We know about some of Hollywood’s elite, the corporate big wigs and political swamp rats live in homes that could pass for high-class hotels. In the 1980’s an end-of-the-world trend in real estate was underway, bringing on the scene a group I call the ultimate preppers.

The first I heard about this doomsday real estate project was in the late 90’s (it started up in about 1984) where abandoned Atlas Missile Silos in Kansas (near Concordia which is about 2 hours from Wichita) were being converted into doomsday condos with 9-foot thick walls that will withstand a nuclear blast. The price range was from $38,000 to $60,000 by the Luxury Survival Condo Project.

The largest doomsday community in the world is in southwest South Dakota with presently 575 living units marketed by VIV0S xPOINT, with a starting price of $1.5 million.

Elsewhere in the world, New Zealand’s South Island is leading the way in private lots where the rich and famous can build their own “home” either above or below ground. Prices range from $25 million to $60 million (plus the land costs and the taxes), but you have such luxuries as helicopter landing pads, solar powering, bowling allies, swimming pools, spa, game rooms, cinema, libraries, vaults (for valuable storage), greenhouses, etc.

New Zealand passed a law that foreign non-citizens could not buy or own land in their country; but for a $10 million fee to their government, you can bypass that law. This might fit in with what Al Gore might want?

Individual units are popping up everywhere. In the Czech Republic, there is a 323,000-square-foot unit underground with a golf course outside. Even some privately-owned islands are locations (even though the Bible tells us all islands will disappear from sight during these end-times; Revelation 16:20). The entertainment industry (Hollywood, etc.) is believing their own work about “The Walking Dead,” as the zombies and other fictitious yarns of the imagination are leading people astray. Another reason Hollywood is under complete leadership by Satan.

The Bible is very clear concerning the end-of-days, and these people were so busy making money that they failed to learn what the final word from God has to say. When I first read about this trend, I immediately thought of Revelation 6:16 when Christ returns, and the people are screaming out in a panic for the rocks to fall on them and hide them from Our Lord and Savior.

Dear Dick,

I love your articles on Rapture Ready. I always look for them. I thought that I had read you were sick. I guess you got better or God is giving you strength to carry on and continue to bless people through your words.

I have a question that I just felt moved to ask you. You may have no answer or even an opinion, but I am going to ask anyways.

I am a born-again Christian waiting for my Lord to come for His Church. I know this is silly, but I worry about my dog being alone when I am gone. I know that God will probably let His children have their beloved pets one day in Heaven if that is necessary for our happiness, but that doesn’t solve the dog left behind in the rapture problem.

I also wish the Bible talked about what happens to animals when they die. It seems horribly unfair to me that animals should suffer so at the hands of sinful mankind, just to die in their pain to “nothingness.” I am probably the only Christian who worries about such things.

Do you have any thoughts on this subject?

(Dick’s reply) Misty, I am the wrong person to ask about “family pets in heaven” as I was born and raised on a small farm and don’t look at animals as “pets” with names that stayed in our house. They had their own out-buildings. I always had a dog that followed me daily back and forth to the one-room country school house I attended for 8 years plus a cat we had for “mice control.” They didn’t stay in the house but rather in the basement garage. They did have names.

But we used to raise a few head of cattle and some hogs plus 300 chickens every year. Needless to say, the 6-year-old me never named each and every chicken. They weren’t pets but rather a source of food and income. And were on my list-of-chores I had to do after school before playing baseball, fishing, etc.

We do know there are tamed wild animals in the millennium (Isaiah 11:6-8, 65:25, for starters), plus God promises us 100% happiness in heaven; so I suggest you trust God and His promises. You won’t be disappointed or lacking for anything. That is our rewards and prizes for believing in Him.

So, I look at animals differently than those who adopt pets as family members. Since I didn’t feel qualified to give you a good answer to your questions, RR editor Cynthia, came to my rescue with a very good response you can take to the bank.

Here is Cynthia’s reply to your questions:

We just don’t know for sure whether our deceased pets could end up in heaven. However, this is what we do know according to scripture:

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father” (Matthew 10:29).

There are animals in heaven.

“And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever” (Rev 5:13).

We will return with Jesus riding horses. “And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses” (Rev 19:14).

All creation is waiting for redemption.

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

“For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God….” (Romans 8:18-28).

Prayer List info and guidance

A good way to build a stronger prayer life is to print off hard copies of Prayer Lists #1 to #15 and following, and at any time of day or night when you as an individual want to pray to the Lord, take out your printed copies and read/pray over them again. This is also great for family group prayer and home-church group prayer. God has a very big memory, and all prayers are recorded by Our Lord and Savior.
