My Friends, have you been looking around and noticing that the Passage of Scripture below is exactly what is going on everywhere? Please read the words slowly and let them sink in because this was written long before 4,500 years ago! My Point is: that passage of Scripture is a Prophecy of the last Days for Planet Earth! It is how people would be in the last days, and it’s taking place right now! Does Columbine come to mind? And now we have El Paso Tx. and Ohio shootings?! Is it me or do you see this as well? “The Writing is on the Wall.”
2 Timothy 3:1-7 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
Take the time and consider each one of these and ask yourself, whom do they represent? I must add that it has taken years for these to come to a head and show themselves today. Stop and remember the days when people wanted the Bible and the Lord God taken out of schools and the Ten Commandments removed from our Courts! Is this beginning to make any sense to you? Do the shootings and general public attitudes come to mind? And what do we call these things?… Acts of Sin! Who else is talking about these things? Or have we forgotten,
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Is it me, or do you understand…SIN…is death!
Do you ever wonder why bad things are taking place throughout this world? SIN! And who is to blame for the furthering of SIN in this world?… Satan and his ilk! And they are working this on every human on earth! They have been working this Evil Plot for years and years…and what is worse, when they see it working…Satan and his ilk sit back and laugh their collective butts off. And they are doing so…at us humans…for our ignorance. For the lack of following Jesus Christ!
So many people want to know why all these things are taking place; why all the violence and hatred?! Problem is, whenever these things are discussed, most people will play the Ostrich, by sticking their heads in a hole in the ground. It troubles their delicate sensibilities…if you will.
The Holy word of God tells us to Love one another; it does NOT tell us to be a Doormat! The Holy Word of God also tells us to wear Armor. Does that mean we are to be easily shaken and disturbed? Are we to be steadfast against Sin and its effects? Are we to stand around and wring our hands, saying, “Oh my…My, oh my!” at everything we see going on and then doing nothing?! If I am correct, we are to be girded with Armor and standing against Satan and his ilk!
Ephesians 6:10-12 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Right there in Black and White, From God’s Lips to your and my ears! The thing is, take a look at what we wrestle against. Do you read anything about being a “Wallflower?!” In my mind, we are fighting against some pretty substantial forces; this will be some serious fighting and definitely not for the faint of heart! Would you agree? So then, my question is…who is ready and able to fight?! How about you?
Definitely, in the Power of the Lord! That goes without saying right? BUT…whom is the Lord asking to wear the Armor?… You and me! It says “For we wrestle!” Obviously, we need to be ready, willing and able to Put on this Armor and fight! My question is this: who is willing to fight, and how are you going to fight…or are you going to sit there and watch others go?
I was not raised that way! I was raised to help others, to hold them up to be counted; even if I was weak, we would all help each other out! Following Jesus Christ…we should be of one mind…HIS. Stop and think about it… what is the worst they can do? Kill us?! And then we go straight to where we wanted to be in the first place…right? Heaven with the Lord?! Remember this passage,
Matthew 10:28 “And fear NOT them which kill the body, but are NOT able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
Wow!… That is some serious advice! My Friends, we need to be thinking and pondering this stuff. What say ye? Remember…Time is running short!
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
