As the once popular slogan says, “A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste.” In these Last Days it is hard to watch young Reprobate Minds clearly becoming useless due to their lack of discernment of political fabricating, fake news, and the all-out deception of the enemy. Such is the case with the LGBTQ+ community, those with defiant fists in the air touting for “Equality and Tolerance” of their Perverse lifestyle.
Clearly this is a Twisted Mindset that has been progressively foisted upon our culture, society, and children, especially in recent years. It is insane to expect the 95% to acquiesce to the delusion of the 5%…or else, even to the extent of denying everything we know to be true. In their hypocritical lunacy they call for ‘support’ in their open rebellion against GOD’S WORD while, in the same breath, they senselessly voice their ‘intolerance’ towards anyone who does not accept, support, or agree with their diabolical agenda.
Just look at the vicious attack on Entertainment Journalist Mario Lopez in recent weeks for his interview on the Candace Owens Show. The discussion was about Hollywood parents allowing their children to decide their gender at a very young age. Mario candidly gave his opinion and stated that he did not believe toddlers had the maturity to pick their gender. His common-sense statement was in no way anti- transgender or transphobic; nonetheless, the backlash from said community was fierce, even to the point of threatening his career.
It is easy to see in these Last Days that there is an increasing lack of tolerance for Family-Oriented, Bible- Believing, and Patriotic People to exercise their Freedom of Speech on issues like Traditional Child- Rearing, the Fact of Only 2 Genders, and Long-Held Biblical Beliefs.
Another example in recent days is the ridiculous attack on NFL Quarterback Drew Brees, with Liberals calling him ‘Anti-Gay’ for his Focus on the Family interview clip encouraging children to bring their Bibles to school on ‘Bring Your Bible to School Day’ on October 3rd. Nowhere in the clip did he say anything against the gay community but, since he was promoting the Bible, he was automatically singled out and pummeled by accusations.
Basically, if you are a Bible-Believing Christian in these Last Days, you are by default ‘Public Enemy Number One.’ Whether you realize it or not, you will be viewed automatically guilty of Bigotry, Hatred, and Prejudices just by association with the name of CHRIST. Our LORD JESUS told us that, if the world hates us, remember that it hated HIM first.
“If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also” (John 15:18-20; all scriptures from KJV).
Therefore, the Bible has a lot to say about the Mind in both the Depraved condition and in the Redeemed. For Salvation, we have to change our Mind in turning away from Sin and turning towards CHRIST. Alternatively, if a person chooses to stay in their Willful Sin long enough by refusing to Repent and continuing to stubbornly reject the promptings of the HOLY SPIRIT, then GOD will let them have their evil desires, turning them over to a Reprobate Mind.
When the Mind becomes corrupt, it does not work right; it can no longer make sense, and it will not have the capacity to discern between right, wrong, good, evil, moral and immoral. It is a fearful thing for GOD to finally give up on someone and give them over to a Debased Mind, but that is exactly what the Bible says will happen if a person refuses to Repent.
“Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful” (Romans 1:25-31).
About once a month we go to the city to serve in a Homeless Ministry where we give out bags of food, toiletries, and Gospel Tracts to the Homeless. In response to our aid, most of the recipients are grateful and say, “Thank you and God Bless You.” Baffling are the ungrateful responses of some who spurn the Gospel Tracts and have the audacity to get mad when we run out of supplies. When this happens, my husband and I remind ourselves of what the book of Timothy tells us will happen in the Last Days. In the 2 Timothy chapter 3 description on the breakdown of End-Times society, we read that one of the characteristics described is “unthankful.”
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away” (2 Timothy 3:1-5).

“When the word sin appears in the singular, it usually denotes the sin nature of humanity. This sin nature, which everyone possesses, influences us to sin and is the source of lust. It negatively affects people’s minds (Rom. 1:28). Illustration: The sin nature is partially responsible for blinding people’s thoughts and understanding, so that they cannot perceive spiritual things (1 Cor. 2:14). Although our sin nature continues to operate within us, it was judged when Christ died (Rom. 6:6-7). Application: Until Christ returns, we must live in the strength of the new man, to overcome the sinful desires arising from the sin nature. We cannot eradicate our sin nature, but we can allow the Holy Spirit to control us so that we do not give in to temptation (Rom. 5:12)” – end source
A further example of a Reprobate Mind in these Last Days is the Millennials who listen to doctrines of demons. In case you have not noticed, many of our ’20 somethings’ nowadays opt out of having children, buying a home, and traditional marriage. Many are involved in New-Age practices such as yoga, tarot cards, chakras, crystals, and pharmakeia.
“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils” (1 Timothy 4:1).
To reflect on this departure from the faith, rebellion from biblical tradition, and the rejection of what GOD’S WORD says, all we need to do is to go back to the book of Genesis where it tells us that GOD created the first marriage union between a man and a woman and the fact that HE told them to be fruitful and multiply on the earth. It shows that GOD wanted them to have a family, that HIS intention and design was for us to have families.
“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth” (Genesis 1:28).
Bottom line: the only remedy for a Debased Mind is for JESUS to Cleanse, Heal, and Transform it! A person has to be willing to Turn from Sin and the Lies of the Enemy and instead Turn towards CHRIST and to the Light of HIS WORD which is the TRUTH! Once you bathe your Mind in HIS TRUTH and BELIEVE in HIM, then your Mind, Heart, Soul, and Spirit will be Renewed!
