I began writing this months ago and got sidetracked somehow and forgot about it. Probably, it wasn’t the right time; only God knows. I haven’t written an article in a while and have been trying to come up with one recently. Then, for some reason, going through my folder, I noticed this one and realized that it was not complete. Well, looks like the Lord’s timing, and I’m sticking with that.
Since a few months ago, my, how have things changed in the world scene and end-times paradigm? I don’t even know where to begin. These converging puzzle pieces I am referring to are the prophecies from the Word of God in these final end times that we are seeing. The world events geographically, politically, and scripturally have moved the puzzle pieces in the equation quite significantly. God’s Word is precise, perfect, on time, and without error. When we put these together to form the whole, the Bible is the only source, especially where we are now in his prophetic timeline of history. The biblically prophetic narrative has moved according to the perfect will of God (man cannot insert his narrative into it by choice) with us here now realizing that the Rapture seems to be really so imminent.
It’s been almost 4,000 years; and using the metaphor of a jigsaw puzzle, we can see that the puzzle is complete except for just a few more pieces. It’s almost picture-perfect now; but with the few remaining pieces, we are scratching our heads on just where they go. Each believer that is interested in the prophetic end-times scenario with the Pre-Trib Rapture of the Saints is contemplating their own idea of how they fit.
Some of us believe the final pieces began falling into place when Israel became a nation in 1948 as prophesized in Isaiah 66:8. “Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.”
That event started the prophetic “time clock-Israel.” God’s timeline is based on the nation of Israel, not on any Gentile nation or calendar. The Jewish people are back in their homeland still today with Jerusalem being the capital. Jesus Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords, and He is returning one day and will set up his Kingdom in Israel. I believe this is the last puzzle piece that is so scripturally obvious, but we don’t know that exact timeframe either.
Let’s look at some of the rest of the puzzle pieces:
2 Thessalonians 2:1-7: The working of the mystery of the lawlessness under divine restraint. The apostasy of the professing church.
2 Timothy 3:1-13: The perilous times that are really upon us now. The turmoil going on in many nations now, even in our own country. What mankind is really like in his thoughts, actions, and behavior.
Note: These are just a few conditions given.
Prophecies of Isaiah 17:1, Psalm 83, Ezekiel 37-39, Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21. “Just a few.” Read them.
Jesus will return to Jerusalem to reign for 1,000 years as foretold in the Scriptures. Zechariah 14:9 “And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord and his name one.”
But what are the other pieces to the puzzle?
-The rapture of the Church that is imminent; could be at any time. Be ready!
-The Isaiah 17 prophecy where Damascus will be a ruinous heap.
-Syria: Look what’s going on there now. Look where Russia, Iran and Turkey are right now and see what’s unfolding along with what each nation is wanting.
-The fig tree: Israel
The prophecy buffs, along with the teachers of this Scriptural narrative, have their own thought on how it will play out and what comes first. In the time it takes for this to get published, something big could have already taken place. Most of this is based on Israel, of course. The center of prophecy is Israel.
I was thinking a couple of days ago what it would be like if we didn’t watch TV or hear in any way from social media or people what’s going on in the news in the world, what we would miss. Bet it would be amazing.
We are to keep our focus on Christ and serving Him in our daily lives as “we see the day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25).
All these scenarios and events are converging right now, it appears, and we are just waiting to hear the Trumpet blast and our name called. God is not willing that any should perish, but all men to come to repentance. If any of you reading this wherever you are do not know Jesus as Lord, please repent of your sins and become born again scripturally. You will inherit eternal life with the rest of us Saints, and go to Glory (Heaven).
Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
