Cyrus the great captured Babylon in 539 BC. This is detailed in Daniel Chapter 5. After the capture of Babylon, the Medes seem to have disappeared from history, but did they really? No. Today we know the Medes as the Kurds.
The Kurds are an Aryan Tribe of Iran (Persia). Kurdish roots can be traced to the 6th century BC and the Median Kingdom of Persia.
The Kurds are more or less modern-day nomads. They desire their own nation of Kurdistan to be recognized; they don’t seem to care about money or worldly possessions.
“Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, Who will not regard silver; And as for gold, they will not delight in it. Also their bows will dash the young men to pieces, And they will have no pity on the fruit of the womb; Their eye will not spare children” (Isaiah 13:17-18).
In Isaiah 13:17 the Medes are shown as participants in Babylon’s destruction. Isaiah and Jeremiah compare the destruction to be “like Sodom and Gomorrah.” This is describing a future destruction of Babylon.
Isaiah 21:2 “A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.”
Elam was an ancient civilization that was located in the Middle East, in Iran’s southwestern region. Elam had cultural ties to ancient Mesopotamia as well. The Elamites were known to be a warring nation of people and were a threat to ancient Babylon. The Elamites were a formidable military force until the Muslim conquests in the 7th century. Persia slowly became a Muslim nation after these conquests.
In the 1980s, the Kurds helped Iran in the war against Iraq. Saddam Hussein in turn attacked Kurdish villages with chemical weapons. Thousands of people were killed, and many fled to Iran.
Kurdistan literally means “land of the Kurds,” although they do not officially or legally have a country of their own.
The Kurds have survived thousands of years without a nation. This could only mean one thing. God has plans for them.
In 2006, New York Daily News reported that,
“In the north, Kurdistan has its own government, army and flag, and it does not allow the Iraqi flag or army on its territory.”
The Kurds have a legitimate claim and argument in being allowed to form their own government. First, there are around thirty million Kurds living in “Kurdistan.” Kurdistan is along the borders of Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey. Second, they have a ruling government, they have an army, their own flag, and most importantly, have recognizable borders even if not recognized “officially.” Most of all, the Kurds are absolutely determined to be recognized as an independent nation.
Isaiah 13:5 “They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.”
The Middle East is certainly “far” from America.
The destruction of end-time Babylon appears to show nuclear attack.
“And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.”
The shock that will come to America is evident in scripture. Imagine Hollywood and New York City being alerted of incoming missiles. The fear and surprise will overtake us. The worst tragedy we suffered together as a nation was on September 11, 2001 where three thousand lives were lost. Imagine tens of thousands being killed by nuclear attack.
Jets will scramble; the White House will be on lockdown. Those left will try desperately to get messages to the President but will fail.
“The Lord has opened His armory, weapons of His indignation” (Jeremiah 50:25).
“Her foundations have fallen, Her walls are thrown down; For it is the vengeance of the Lord. Take vengeance on her. As she has done, so do to her” (Jeremiah 50:15).
Scripture calls the men of Babylon “mighty.” The definition of mighty is one “possessing great and impressive power or strength…”
The United States military, all branches, are full of mighty men. Scripture goes on to tell us that these mighty men will be “dismayed.” The definition of dismayed is “to break down the courage of completely, as by sudden danger or trouble; dishearten thoroughly…”
When Babylon is attacked, her military, powerful as they are, will be afraid.
“A sword is against her mighty men, and they will be dismayed. A sword is against their horses, Against their chariots, And against all the mixed peoples who are in her midst; And they will become like women” (Jeremiah 50:36-37).
Revelation and Jeremiah both describe the shock that Babylon’s destruction will bring to the world. Who is seriously considering Iran a threat to American shores right now? We have all considered Iran and her close proximity to Israel to be a threat to Jerusalem and Jews, but to America?
“At the noise of the taking of Babylon, The earth trembles, And the cry is heard among the nations” (Jeremiah 50:46).
What other nation’s destruction will cause men to cry out? Revelation describes men watching from afar and wailing at her destruction. “Who is like this great city?”
Iranian President Rouhani threatened America last year by saying “Mr. Trump, don’t play with the lion’s tail; this would only lead to regret. America should know that peace with Iran is the mother of all peace, and war with Iran is the mother of all wars.”
Iran and the United States have not been friends, even under Obama. Obama PAID Iran over one billion dollars sent over on a secret mission. Pallets full of cash. Iran has been using that money to build their arsenal. Mark my words. Obama should be investigated for that alone.
“Against those who dwell in Leb Kamai, A destroying wind. And I will send winnowers to Babylon, Who shall winnow her and empty her land. For in the day of doom They shall be against her all around” (Jeremiah 50:1-2).
Nuclear bombs bring destroying winds. After the attack, people are going to come here to grab whatever resources are left, but not before getting rid of any Americans left in their way. To “winnow” means “to remove (people or things that are less important, desirable, etc.) from a larger group or list: to make (a list of possible choices) smaller by removing the less desirable choices.”
It appears as though communication with the President is cut off. People will try to get messages to him but will fail. Jeremiah says “the reeds will be burned with fire.” The definition of reed is “instability or feebleness.”
“One runner will run to meet another, And one messenger to meet another… The reeds they have burned with fire, And the men of war are terrified” (Jeremiah 51:31-32).
Hillary Clinton called Trump supporters “deplorable.” We are less desirable and we are the ones that will be winnowed out. Not all Trump supporters are Christian, but the vast majority of Christians are Trump supporters. Think about that for a moment.
We were a golden cup in the Lord’s hand, and we took it from Him and turned it into greed, power, sexual sin and blasphemy. God says He would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed. Why? After President Trump’s election, this nation began to fall, and quickly. It’s too divided to ever come together again. Perhaps God would have healed us had we turned to him, unified as a nation. We have a President that wants to honor Him, and does so, unapologetically. A President that remembered his promise to Jerusalem.
We have a President who probably would have done a lot of good all over the world had he been given a chance. Since his election, this nation has split right down the middle. Many have not only turned on this nation, but they’ve turned on God. Scripture even describes the rulers of Babylon turning on one another. And with this division, violence will come.
“A rumor will come one year, And after that, in another year A rumor will come, And violence in the land, Ruler against ruler” (Jeremiah 51:46).
Democrat versus Republican. Left versus right. It’s come down to that. We are divided, with ruler against ruler. The violence is at the door.
“Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth shall be shaken out of its place at the wrath of the Lord of hosts in the day of His fierce anger. And like the chased roe or gazelle, and like sheep that no man gathers, each [foreign resident] will turn to his own people, and each will flee to his own land. Everyone who is found will be thrust through, and everyone who is connected with the slain and is caught will fall by the sword. Their infants also will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be plundered and their wives ravished” (Isaiah 13:13-16).
This is describing God’s furious judgement over Babylon. Note that it says people will flee to their own land. There are millions of illegal immigrants in America. If America is invaded, I can easily see our illegal immigrant problem solved quickly.
Many come here for free handouts; you don’t think they are going to help the American citizens defend America, do you? If America truly is Babylon, this means people will begin fleeing back to Mexico and South America. I believe America will finally be rid of our illegal immigrant problem, but it comes at a cost. Our destruction.
“Prepare against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion. And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the Lord shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant” (Jeremiah 51:28-29).
The Median kingdom ruled around 605-552 BC during the time of the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar. The prophet Jeremiah lived during the height of their power as well. The Medes dominated Persia, or modern-day Iran until 550 BC when King Cyrus captured the Median King.
Instead of ruling over the Medes as previous kings did, King Cyrus had other plans for them. As his empire was beginning to grow, he gave the Medes positions of responsibility within the growing Empire, even adding some traditional customs and laws of the Medes into Persia’s own laws. This is where we get the two nations combined to become the Medo-Persian Empire.
Ancient historian, Herodotus, in his book The Histories, tells us that the Median people were originally made up of six tribes:
“Deioces, then, united the Median nation by itself and ruled it. The Median tribes are these: the Busae, the Paretaceni, the Struchates, the Arizanti, the Budii, the Magi. Their tribes are this many.”
This ancient Magi tribe was part of a priesthood of the Medes. In fact, they were the Biblical “wise men from the east” who came to Jerusalem seeking the newborn Messiah.
“Where is He that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him” (Matt 2:2).
“When they reached Bethlehem, the Magi presented to Jesus “gold, frankincense and myrrh” (Matt 2:11).
Iran is East of Israel, meaning it’s very likely the Magi that came to worship the Messiah on the night He was born were modern day Kurds or Iranian.
In Iran, an estimated 14% of the population is Kurdish, but they are not treated very well. Women are treated even worse. Look at how the Iranian government treats women in general. Women can’t travel without the consent of their father or husband.
They can’t study in the universities as the men do. At one point, decades ago, women were allowed to study whatever subject they wished to, right next to the men. Things began changing in the eighties after the Iranian revolution. They turned hardcore Sharia. After the election of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, things really changed. Restrictions were placed on women and studying.
They could no longer attend class with men and were forced to use a separate entrance. The subjects they are allowed to study are severely restricted. This was done in order to reduce Western influence on the Iranian culture.
Women that recently dared to dance and remove hijabs were arrested and punished.
There is a special police force called gashte ershad. These are “morality and modesty” police.
This is Sharia law. And in this country, we have people on the left welcoming it.
Noah Feldman, the “constitutional expert” that the Democrats used in the hoax impeachment hearings, previously wrote an op-Ed where he praised Sharia Law as being more humane and even superior to the West.
Leftist women in the U.S. wear hijabs in “support of Muslim women.” Yet women all over the Middle East and Asia are dying, literally, to remove them.
America has underestimated Iran for far too long. They are a threat to this nation. I believe the United States to be Babylon; therefore, the United States will go to war with Iran, and most likely other countries aligned with them. If America is Babylon, then Iran has a part in our destruction.
Their hatred for the U.S. is real. They chant in the street by the tens of thousands, “DEATH TO AMERICA.”
Babylon is attacked by many nations that come from “the end of heaven.” Meaning they are coming from the other side of the world.
“…tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together! The Lord of hosts musters the army for battle. They come from a far country, from the end of heaven” (Isaiah 13:4-5).
The Median Empire included Northern Iran, Northern Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Southern Uzbekistan, parts of Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan, Southern Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Eastern Turkey.
Babylon will be destroyed by a group of Islamic nations which I believe to be a coalition lead by Iran. The Bible also says that Babylon will not be destroyed until the day of the Lord. This is not to be confused with the Antichrist. The Antichrist enters Jerusalem! With America’s destruction, we now know why Israel is alone and attacked. I believe this is also what causes them to finally call on God to help them.
“And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, The beauty of the Chaldeans’ pride, Will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. It will never be inhabited, Nor will it be settled from generation to generation” (Isaiah 13:19-20).
Iran seems to have shifted when it comes to the Kurds. The Iranian Foreign Minister recently told Turkey,
“I express my opposition in Turkey, and President [Rouhani] was also opposed to this matter. We believe that the rights of the Kurdish people in Syria must be protected. We believe in respecting the rights of all the people in the region, and international borders…. Of course, the security of Turkey must also be protected, but security is not protected by means of a military expedition.”
The Kurds living along the Iranian border are in a very tough situation. They have to either side with America and become bigger targets to Iran, or side with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and turn against America. Right now, many Kurds are not happy with the United States.
“Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the Lord hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the Lord, the vengeance of his temple” (Jeremiah 51:11).
Christians confuse God’s wrath with persecution. He told us we would be persecuted, and that time is at the door like no other in history. We are not meant for His wrath, but we are not exempt from their hatred and persecution. Remember, Jesus said they hated Him first. Count yourself lucky if you’re hated for His sake.
If the U.S is attacked with nukes, she will launch her own in retaliation. What happens directly after God’s wrath? We see a great multitude in heaven praising Him.
“After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, ‘Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God! For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her'” (Revelation 19:1-2).
The destruction of Babylon, or God’s fierce wrath, mirrors Revelation. The sun and moon growing dark and not giving light, stars falling, the heavens shaking.
“Wail, for the day of the LORD is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. Therefore all hands will be limp, every man’s heart will melt, and they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; they will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; they will be amazed at one another; their faces will be like flames. Behold, the day of the LORD comes, cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate; and He will destroy its sinners from it. For the stars of heaven and their constellations will not give their light; the sun will be darkened in its going forth, and the moon will not cause its light to shine.
“I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold, a man more than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth will move out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts and in the day of His fierce anger” (Isaiah 13:6-13)
The day of the Lord is coming, and the wicked and evil that we see will be dealt with. The murderers, rapists and child abusers will all have their part in the lake of fire. He is coming with great glory but also with wrath and fire in His eyes.
Another Democrat loss will throw this nation into chaos. The other nations around the world aren’t stupid. They know that chaos here weakens us everywhere. If they know that our President can’t govern without sabotage, don’t think the world hasn’t noticed. They are simply watching, and waiting.
On November 4, 2020, President Trump will again be the constitutionally elected President of this country. By “constitutionally elected,” I mean he is the legitimate President voted in by the people through our electoral college. When the Democrat nominee loses, he/she will still claim victory by popular vote. The Democrats will attempt to throw our Constitution out of the window. This is simply a theory, but one that falls into line with what they’ve been doing.
This country’s representatives (I refuse to call them leaders) sold America out a long time ago, so don’t expect a fair election. The globalists are eagerly awaiting one of their own running America again. They had The Bush‘s, Bill Clinton and Obama in the driver’s seat for so long, they never saw Trump coming.
The United States is a constitutional Republic; we are not a democracy, and we are not ruled by mob law. Majority does not win first place. Our electoral college was put into our constitution for the exact reasons of what the Democrats are doing now. Fundamentally changing America and stomping on our constitution in the process.
Why does America think no harm can come to her? We sit as a queen and feel no sorrow. God said this about end-time Babylon. I believe the United States to be Babylon, as Revelations 17-18 seems to describe America as we are today.
Our Republic is falling and the people around us are too busy on Facebook to notice. Our Republic is falling and the college kids across this country are urging its fall. These leftists will accept a unified leader, and quite easily. They are ready now. Get the patriots and Christians “winnowed” out and what a peaceful world this will be! DELUSIONAL! God said He would send strong thoughts of delusion to those who do not believe in Him.
America isn’t in a battle between Republican and Democrat; we saw that under GWB and Al Gore in 2000. This is different. This is a spiritual battle for America. What these Democrats are doing is not normal; there is far more going on than we physically see. Jesus forewarned us that our fight is not between flesh and blood; it’s the rulers over us that we must watch.
“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason, God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thes 2:9-12).
We need to watch Iran, but we need to watch everyone else in the process. Revelation tells us that the rest of the world will hate Babylon, just as they hate the U.S.
Recently, Donald Tusk, who is a Polish politician and the former PM of Poland, did something rather odd. He is a “never Trumper” who often criticizes our President for his America-first policies. While at the NATO summit, this globalist made a gun with his fingers and pointed them at President Trump’s back. This is very creepy, almost telling us what they are about to do. He needs your prayers and support now more than ever. I’ve never seen anything like that.
The only thing standing in the way of us and boxcars is Donald Trump. Let that sink in too.
Hold on just a little while longer because the King is coming!
