I am often wondering, my Friends, how many are steadfast in the Lord?! Many people will read this and state that they are Steadfast and waiting on the Lord to come in the Rapture of HIS Church. Please remember that it is stated in HIS Holy Word, that FEW will find the narrow gate (Matthew 7:14). And so, the obvious next question is, who are the FEW?!
Let’s begin this by looking at some Scripture that will aid us in our quest for answers:
2 Peter 3:3-6 “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.”
I would be willing to speculate that some of us will be able to see the world, according to the passage of Scripture above. It is now that we need to look at some Scripture in Genesis 6, and compare it to how we see things today:
Genesis 6:13 “And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence [Sin] through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”
This is the exact spot that the Lord God decided to destroy HIS Creation…Humans. And this was because of all the SIN…as in Violence. Of course, we understand that this includes so many other Sins as well. The Point is, that the SIN of man had grown to such a point that the Lord God…made a decision…to destroy mankind…as in all of mankind. Except…
Genesis 6:18 “But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee.”
As we know from the Scriptures, there was a total of 8 people on the Ark that were saved. My point with this is, there were only a FEW! Do you grasp this accounting?! Of all the people back then, that populated the earth…only 8 survived! That, my Friends, is indeed…a FEW!
Am I saying only 8 will go in the Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ? NO! At least you can now understand what the term a FEW really means – a very small amount! We are keeping in mind that there is an estimated 8 Billion people on earth today; therefore…a FEW…will be a much greater number. Does that make sense to you? We must remember…the Holy Word of God…says a FEW! Therefore, what does a FEW refer to, as in a number for today?! Scary…right?!
Genesis 6:19-20 “And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female. Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.”
Is it me? What are the words that were spoken back then…about the SINS of those people, and how does that affect the people of today?! This was Prophecy…for the Future, y’all! We need to see that the Lord God destroyed Humanity…back then in a Flood. We know the Covenant between the Lord God and humanity of today…in the Rainbow…right? The Lord God promised to never destroy Humanity in a Flood, and the Promise of a Covenant is remembered today in a Rainbow.
Genesis 9:16-17 “And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.”
So, as we see, my Friends, the destruction of humanity will never be in a Flood, BUT…what will it be at the end of the Tribulation?! Again, we must look back and notice the Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was with Fire and Brimstone! Now we already know this was a rather small area, considering the size of the entire Planet. And yet, the area was completely destroyed! Everything was reduced to sulfur…am I correct? So, now we wonder, was there a covenant after this? NO! No covenant whatsoever! That means the Lord God is still willing to use fire! Again, is that scary or what?! Just between you and me, drowning is NOT my choice of dying. Fire would be even worse!!
So, my Friends, after the Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ (Which I Hope and Pray y’all will be in) will come the Tribulation. We will discuss what will happen on earth at the end of the Tribulation in another article, simply because it will require another article to get all that Info in. It is extensive, to say the least! Trust me when I say, the Lord is definitely going to deal with the Sins of this world, just as HE did during the Days of Noah. It is profound to mention, it will NOT be with a Flood! The question now is, with what will HE destroy the earth at the end of the Tribulation. It is also of importance, no one will want to be here on earth when that takes place!
Suffice it to say, Revelation is rife on this subject matter, and that is indeed…Prophecy! Again, Noah received Prophecy from the Lord back in his day. We have Prophecy once again about how the Lord God is going to cleanse the earth at the end of the Tribulation.
We have a saying, “We need to learn from our Past and not repeat it.” So, what is happening today? The Sins of the entire Human Race are going to reach the Lord God, and HE is going to destroy it once again! Obviously and according to what we see today, the Sins of this world are growing exponentially. The Lord is going to destroy everything one day…you can bet on that, my Friends!
All I know is that I Love the Lord God; HE IS my Lord and Savior! I am going to be with HIM either in the Rapture or in my Death, and I could care less in which way I go. I will be with my Lord and Savior for all of Eternity. For me…that is indeed enough. Praise the Lord!
My question now is, where will YOU be after your death or the Rapture? In other words, where is your Home in Eternity? It will definitely be either Heaven or Hell, and it is still that simple!
With that small word FEW, how is your walk with the Lord? Is it easier for you to make it once a week to church? Or are you steadfastly reading the Holy Word of God, searching the Scriptures for every single Truth? You must understand, I have no idea who walks with the Lord; that is strictly between YOU and the LORD! BUT…I would exercise extreme diligence in knowing where you and the Lord stand. Are you truly HIS…or…?! Just saying, y’all… NO condemnation on my Part!
Numbers 6:24-26 “The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.”
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
