There is a specific theology out there that occasionally pops up during discussions and conversations known as Replacement Theology.
Unfortunately, it is a theology that has been around for quite some time. Far too many leaders and teachers of various denominations have taught and continue to teach it. And, if you teach it, the sheeple (people who blindly follow whatever is taught by whomever) will believe it.
It is just another path to anti-Semitism or what should be called what it actually is – Jew-hatred. No matter what one chooses to call it, Satan has used that specific weapon for thousands of years, and quite effectively to say the least.
The history of the Jewish people can be likened to an overflowing cup of hatred and violence that has been poured out upon them since their days in Egypt right up to the Holocaust. Between those 2 events lies the Inquisitions, Pogroms, Crusades and so on. And yes, Jew-hatred is raising its ugly head once again within many nations of the world, including America. Is it any wonder Jews from the 4 corners of the earth are making Aliyah (returning to the Land of Israel) in numbers like never before? That is prophecy being fulfilled right before our very eyes.
And, by the way, it is far from over for Israel and the Jews. There is an event coming known as “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble.”
That reminds me of a question I have for you “replacement” folks.
Where were you when it came time to replace the Jews on their way to the ovens along with the other evils they faced? Hello? Just wondering. I guess it’s okay to replace the blessings and promises God had for the Jews to the Church, but not the curses; The Jews can keep those. Just saying.
Please know this. If you read that and felt a stabbing sensation in your heart, that is not condemnation; that’s conviction from the Holy Spirit. So, please repent of the satanic lie of Replacement Theology and replace it with God’s truth.
This hateful and hurtful theology carries the idea that somehow Israel and her people have been forsaken by God. That somehow God long ago replaced Israel and the Jewish people with the Church and Christians because Israel turned its back on Him and, in turn, He has forsaken them.
I can’t stress it enough. Replacement Theology is nothing but a lie from the father of lies. Remember, Satan hates what God loves.
I came across a quote from Leo Tolstoy who wrote one of the greatest novels of all time, War and Peace. Here is a quote from him pertaining to the Jews.
“The Jew is the symbol of eternity. He is the one who for so long had guarded the prophetic message and transmitted it to all mankind. A people such as this can never disappear. The Jew is eternal. He is the embodiment of eternity.”
Let’s get to the truth on this matter. Let’s read what God has to say about Israel and the Jews. The truth is all that matters. Amen? His word is indeed the final authority.
Here’s Jeremiah 31:9-11 revealing just how it’s going to be. The God of Israel made a promise, and it will be completely and perfectly fulfilled just as He spoke it.
“With weeping they shall come, and with pleas for mercy I will lead them back, I will make them walk by brooks of water, in a straight path in which they shall not stumble, for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn. ‘Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare it in the coastlands far away; say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, and will keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock.’”
I take those words from Jeremiah literally. What a concept!
As a matter of fact, I take the whole Bible, the Older Testament as well as the Newer Testament, literally until proven otherwise. Proof, any and all proof, must come from scripture and scripture only. It doesn’t matter to me if someone has a theology degree or two, or they base their opinion on what they’ve learned from various resources and somehow twist it as “fact” to fit their narrative or agenda. Hmm, sounds like the so-called journalists/fake news reporters of today. They live in a place known as Media-Land where their fantasies never come true. But, I digress.
There is never a need to add to or take away what God breathed out.
Quite simply, what ultimately matters boils down to this: What does God’s Word say? His Word and only His Word is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
And by the way, if Replacement Theology were a biblical fact, we believing Jews and Gentiles would have plenty to worry about. We wouldn’t have that precious gift of eternal security. If God’s promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are not kept to the letter… where would that leave you and me? Without a Savior!
No worries though, because we stand on what the Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 11:1.
“I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means!”
Bless You All
