Burned out on the ‘Plannedemic’
Being in burned-out mode from the trauma throughout this ruthless year has unfortunately become a way of life and a type of mindset for many in these last days. People are literally worn out from all of the hype surrounding this virus, the public wearing of face masks, and the impending ‘operation warp speed’ vaccine that is soon to come out. All of this is certainly unprecedented; frankly, it feels like we are being made to ‘unnecessarily navigate’ some very dangerous and unchartered waters… and all for what?
Most sense there is ‘something not right,’ and many know that a lot of what we are being told is not true. The discerning see this whole thing as a nefarious agenda of ‘leading the sheep to the slaughter.’ From observational experience, it usually takes multiple years to fully test and develop prescriptions and vaccines. The clients who volunteer as ‘guinea pigs’ often go through years of closely monitored tests and trials to ensure that there are no harmful side effects. We ‘the peasants’… ahem… I mean, we ‘the people’ no longer seem to have a say-so anymore in this country. Actually, it kind of makes one want to sit back and wonder if we ever really did!
Burned out on the ‘Political Doom and Gloom’
Americans all over are ‘beyond fatigued’ with all of the incessant talk on the ‘political doom and gloom.’ Where once it was a good thing to be ‘in the know’ about all of the headlines going on in and around the world, it is just more advantageous to jump off of the ‘crazy lamestream media train,’ even if it is just for a temporary break! After years of day in and day out constant streaming of ‘distressing information’ from various media outlets, it has begun to wear down our society and way of life to the point of exhaustion!
It helps to remember that God is ultimately in control. Just like the story of the little boy who was not afraid of the turbulence on the plane because he knew his life was in ‘safe hands’ with his dad being the pilot. It is more than beneficial to keep our minds on the fact that God is not only the Pilot, but the Captain of our lives as well. Deep down we know that we really do not have ‘providential control’ over our lives anyway!
Burned out on finding a ‘Permanent Church Home’
For the past month or so, we have been visiting a local Independent-type church. On our last visit, it was stated to the congregation that if one does not come every time the church doors are open (4x a week) and wear what the church deems according to their beliefs, then one is most likely not an ‘all in Christian’ and truly loving the Lord. Just to be clear, God looks at one’s heart of Faith, not on ‘manmade ideas of performance’ to earn our way towards Holiness… as if one ever could. We are thankful that we know the Truth about our Lord Jesus Christ! His Word tells us that He alone paid and earned our Salvation, Holiness, and Righteousness through His precious Blood shed for us at His Death, Burial, and Resurrection nearly 2,000 years ago!
With so many people having a hard time finding a ‘sound church’ to permanently call home, more and more are resorting to listening to Online Ministers of Truth in these last days. It is sad to come to the realization that in just simply trying to find a place of like-minded brothers and sisters in Christ for Fellowship, Love, Grace, and Support, it is actually ‘not so simple’ anymore. American Churches, now more than ever, are being clouded by Apostasy Defection, Gross Worldliness, Stifling Bondage, and Undiscerning Hypocrisy. As a consequence, this is opening the door to the ‘Great Falling Away,’ which is literally happening right before our very eyes!
From GotQuestions.org: “Will there be a great apostasy / falling away during the end times?
Answer: The Bible indicates that there will be a great apostasy during the end times. The “great apostasy” is mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:3. The KJV calls it the “falling away,” while the NIV and ESV call it “the rebellion.” And that’s what an apostasy is: a rebellion, an abandonment of the truth. The end times will include a wholesale rejection of God’s revelation, a further “falling away” of an already fallen world.
Jesus warned the disciples concerning the final days in Matthew 24:10–12: “At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.” These are the characteristics of the great apostasy of the end times. – Source
Burned out on the ‘Perverse World’
As one can perceive by reading the previous assessments, we live in a world that we more and more cannot put our hope, faith, or trust in. Nope, not in our Economy, Medicine, Media, Politics, Education, News, and now not even in most pastors or churches anymore. For the Born-Again Christian, we know that this ‘perverse world’ is not our home, for our citizenship is in a Heavenly Country. Recently, an online pastor said that we should have 3 homes: a Heavenly Home, an Earthly Home, and a Church Home.
In my honest opinion, I do not consider anywhere on this Earth ‘home’; no group of people, place, or thing feels like home here. As lovely as we have made our house look and feel, we know it is ultimately just a ‘temporary tabernacle, short-term abode, or a type of makeshift pup tent’ compared to our ‘real home’ in Heaven. My urgent anticipation is to finally get to see and embrace our Lord Jesus Christ face to face. Then and only then will I know that I am finally at my ‘True Forever Home’! Home is a person, the person of the Lord Jesus Christ! The One who lovingly died for us, the One who loves us more than any other ever could, the One who radically saved us, and the One who endearingly sustains us until our final breath! Yes… it is Jesus… it is Him… ‘He. Is. Our. True. Home!’
Burned-out mode leads to ‘Possible Choices’
Being in burned-out mode can lead you into the arms of Jesus if you so allow. Oftentimes, when people are in this type of mode, they turn to vices such as drugs, alcohol, and a plethora of addictions for ‘some sort of relief.’ Instead of turning to those unfulfilling things, you can make the possible choice to turn to Jesus for your ‘fount of relief and comfort.’
For example, when my firstborn was an infant, I carried her into a store where there was a door greeter. This greeter was an elderly lady who immediately commented on how ‘handsome’ my baby was. Even though my baby was bald, she had pierced earrings and was wearing a light blue outfit which had flowers embroidered on it, along with little pink shoes. Although I promptly stated that my baby was a girl, the greeter restated how cute ‘he’ was… to which I just smiled, said thanks, and went on in to shop. Sometimes, no matter how much evidence or suggestion is presented in one’s face, they will only see what they allow their mind to think and to see.
Truth be told, each and every day we make thousands of choices, from the moment we wake up in the morning until the time we lay down to sleep. We can either let the words of Jesus ‘wrap its arms around us’ as the comfort of a good friend who is trying to reassure us or we can read His Blessed Words and choose to toss them aside, only to resume our ongoing fret, worry, and panic. Once again, ‘choices upon possible choices.’ Here are a select few of the many verses ‘full of comfort’ that our Lord gives to us in His Love Letter, the Holy Bible! If only we would read them, believe them, and ‘choose to meditate’ on them, maybe we would not be in burned-out mode as much these days.
Choose today to let the Words of Jesus wrap around you like a ‘comforting blanket’:
Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
John 14:1 “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.”
Matthew 11:28-29 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”
Psalm 94:19 “In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Philippians 4:6-7 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Joshua 1:9 “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
Matthew 6:26 “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”
Psalm 56:3 “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.”
***Comfort one another with these words***
