Pauper – A Very Poor Person. A Recipient of Government Relief or Public Charity.
When one thinks of the word ‘Opulence,‘ one tends to think of Great Wealth or Luxuriousness such as in the 80s-90s Episodes of the “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” where the Host Robin Leach would end each show by Toasting to ‘Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams’! For a large portion of America’s History, we have enjoyed Great Opulence, Grandeur, and Luxuriousness through our God-Given Liberties and Freedoms, which has, fortunately, not only benefitted us but the whole world by and large!
1 Timothy 6:17 “Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.”
During my Husband’s recent vacation, we decided to eat at a ‘Fancier Restaurant’ than the usual places we would eat to celebrate our ‘special time’ together. This Restaurant had mouthwatering, sweet, fluffy, delicious Cinnamon Butter Rolls that were hard to resist, along with their Fried Pickles that came with some Cajun Horseradish Sauce for dipping!
Looking around, one could easily get carried away by all of the Decadence and Opulence around them! Just for that moment in time, one could be lulled into imagining that ‘things just might be okay’ in the world — judging from the Rustic Western Decor; Strategically Placed Lighting; Big Screen TVs on the walls; people laughing, conversing, and eating at adjacent tables; and the Attentive Service we so graciously received from our Waitress. Not to mention, when the Main Courses arrived, the Sirloin Steak and Grilled Shrimp that were on my Husband’s plate and the Barbeque Chicken and Scrumptious Mixed Veggies on mine!
Matthew 6:19-21 “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”
It can be really easy to get lost in our ‘American Opulence‘ and forget that it is being ‘systematically eroded away at’ each and every day! ‘Opulent Paupers‘ is an oxymoron that, unfortunately, describes the state of Americans more and more in these troubling End Times. Paupers are defined as Recipients of ‘Government Handouts’, and so far, within the last year, most Americans have been partakers of such, whether they wanted to be or not.
No Free and Proud American likes to see how Socialism and Marxism are ‘rearing their ugly heads by intrusively creeping’ into our Country and infringing onto our God-Given Freedoms and Rights! It is more than nauseating to witness all of the Moral Degeneracy that has taken place here as well! What is even worse than that is realizing that all this ‘chipping away’ at our Liberties has been taking place for many more decades than we even really want to know!
Think of the ‘Boiling the Frog Alive’ Analogy, where, if the Frog is put into ‘steaming hot water,’ it will immediately jump out, but if it is put into cool or lukewarm water, which is then slowly brought to a boil, it will not perceive that it is being cooked unto its demise. This is often used as a ‘Metaphor’ for people who do not recognize or realize they need to do something to get out of a dangerous, ominous, or threatening situation because events are happening in slow increments instead of quickly or all at once!

After the most embarrassing and horrific inauguration behind troops, fences, and concertina razor wires, the socialist rule of the new America begins with the killing of the Keystone Pipeline, the destruction of thousands of jobs, of cheap energy, the rejoining of the global warming alarmist Paris Climate Accord, the removal of the 1776 Project, the vow to restart Iran’s nuclear program, and 100 days of federal mask mandates.
The technocracy and the elites in power have morphed overnight from rich capitalists to rich socialists. America is following a path to Marxism, warned Pastor Cristian Ionescu from Chicago.
The Soviets and their agents fanned across the country had to act against family, God, parental authority, churches, and had to destroy any form of authority that competed with the Party.
Like today’s Social Democrats, socialist/communist handlers divided people by class, sex, religion, race, ethnicity, invented biology, and real or manufactured wealth to keep the population divided and distrustful of each other. What a perfect formula for controlling society!
Many Americans stated that socialism will never come here, this is America, and we have a fighting spirit, we will preserve our Constitutional Republic. “Nobody is dumb enough to adopt such a failed societal model that has been rejected soundly around the globe.” And here we are.
I used to believe in the American exceptionalism and spirit, but I now agree with the Washington Post’s statement that the much-touted American exceptionalism no longer exists. Judging by the very scary inauguration of a president in the former bastion of freedom called America, I am afraid they are right. -Source
Many were so ready for the year 2020 to be over and could not wait for a ‘new and better’ year to come in. So far, 2021 has started out just as ‘topsy turvy,’ if not more so, than 2020 did! Some say, ‘Ignorance is Bliss’; therefore, it is blissful to be ‘Ignorantly Optimistic,’ but Spiritual Wisdom and Discernment tell us that it is more important ‘to Not to Be Deceived’ in these Last Days! Therefore, to be on the side of Truth and to be Realistic is to know that these End Times are not going to get better and better, but instead, they are going to get worse and worse before Jesus’ takes us out of the way’!
Acquiesce – Accept something reluctantly but without protest (permit, allow, consent to, agree to, accept, comply with).
Who does not like to get Free Money? After all, it is our Hard-Earned Tax Dollars, is it not? One likened the ‘Governmental Stimulus Checks’ to the equivalence of taking an above-ground swimming pool that has a hole on one side that is steadily streaming water out, and the ‘quick solution’ is to collect the leaking water into a bucket, then pour the same water back into the same leaking pool! That is about as ‘logical’ as the ‘wholesale emptying’ of stores by ‘hoarding vast amounts of toilet paper’ during a Viral Plandemic!
Truth be told, nothing that is going on in our Country right now is a good thing, even with Americans receiving ‘so-called Free Money,’ which we all know is never really ‘Free’! Instead, these handouts (checks) are actually ‘conditioning us to acquiesce’ to their Socialist and Marxist System. Right now, we are still experiencing the ‘Last Gleaming Vestiges’ of American Opulence and Freedom, according to God’s Grace, Patience, and Restraining Influence. Eventually, though, there will be no more ‘Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams’ for America or the world for that matter, such as is outlined and detailed in the Book of Revelation!
Hebrews 13:5 “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
Bottom line, we need to put all of our Trust in God, not in Man. Trust that God knows what is Best and that His Holy Spirit will hold back Evil as much as He Wills until we are taken out of the way! Pray that God would destroy and ‘make of none effect’ any and all Hexes, Vexes, Curses, Spells, Incantations, and any and all Evil Works done against the Body of Christ and that the Gates of Hell would not prevail against His Church, in Jesus Christ’s Name! Then watch how God moves in your life and how the Devil flees out of it!
