Eruptions on the Caribbean island of St. Vincent has created a humanitarian crisis. Eruptions began April 9 and continue. No reported deaths of people, but forests and farms are wiped out on part of the island; water supplies are contaminated across the entire island, which is coated in ash, and there is no electricity. Those living in the volcano’s red danger zone were not allowed to evacuate on ships to other islands unless they’d had Covid vaccines; most of the population is not vaccinated. Even those who were just being vaccinated weren’t allowed to evacuate due to possible side effects such as “wooziness in the head,” according to the chief medical officer.
The latest report as of this writing is that a cruise ship brought supplies to the island and is evacuating British, U.S. and Canadian citizens. A US Embassy statement says the CDC recommends against travel on cruise ships due the chance of getting Covid and said people who’ve been in close contact with suspected Covid cases were barred from the trip. All aboard had to have a negative rapid antigen test taken within 24 hours of boarding. A bus driver/resident who has delivered supplies to residents said heavy ash is causing houses to collapse. Sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions are now spreading over South America and Africa.
This is the volcano’s first eruption since 1979 (that caused $100 million in damages). In 1902, an eruption killed 17,000 people and kept erupting for months. The director at the Seismic Research Center said this current eruption could go on for weeks, even months. “This is just the beginning,” she said. People in shelters have no idea of when they’ll be able to return home.

The Texas’ power grid operator, which came under immense pressure for mishandling the historic winter storm mid-February, urged customers Tuesday to “reduce electricity use” as a cold front swept through, causing power demand to spike. Some generation units were already down for repair work. One spot price for Texas power jumped as much as 10,000% on Tuesday.

Natanz attack hit 50 meters underground, destroyed most of the facility. The attack was reportedly carried out through a remotely detonated device smuggled into the facility and damaged “thousands of centrifuges.” The explosion caused severe damage to the site, and it could take at least nine months to restore production at the facility.
Iran fires missile at Israeli-owned ship. An Israeli-owned ship was attacked near the shores of the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday. The attack came a day after Iran vowed to avenge the explosion at its Natanz nuclear facility, which it blamed on Israel. Only light damage was caused to the vessel. 2 Pakistani Christian nurses charged with blasphemy, could face life in prison. Police in Pakistan’s Punjab province arrested two Christian nurses on blasphemy charges after hospital staff accused them of scratching a sticker with a Quran verse written on it off a cupboard. One of the nurses was allegedly attacked with a knife by a colleague.

Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is fighting for a third-grade girl’s right to wear a “Jesus Loves Me” face mask to public school. ADF senior counsel said the school district engaged in “viewpoint discrimination” by singling out Lydia Booth in October while allowing other students to wear “Black Lives Matter” masks.
Russia Plans to Resurrect Triumphal Arch of Palmyra in Syria; Gateway to Temple of Ba’al that was destroyed by ISIS in 2015. Meetings have taken place with Russian experts to discuss the restoring and resurrection of this so-called Arch of Triumph. The ruins of the ancient city of Palmyra, about 135 miles north of Damascus, were a huge tourist attraction before being destroyed. Rebuilding the arch is predicted in the Jewish Talmud as preceding the Messiah. Unfortunately, the Jews aren’t looking for the real Messiah. It will be the Antichrist who shows up instead.

God condemned Ba’al worship and punished his chosen people Israel for taking on the worship of this pagan deity their neighbors worshiped. Not only do the Jews have to deal with the abomination of Zeus and Antiochus Epiphanes IV (Daniel 8), but the Greek pantheon later gets repeated in the Roman pantheon, and practices from both the Greeks and Romans still exist today.”
