This section is not to discourage those who intend to take the vaccine, but to inform people of some of the side effects people have experienced. Encouragers for the vaccine say it’s a small number in comparison to how many people have been vaccinated. Others who are not so encouraging say those numbers are likely higher than we’re being told.

As for the Covid virus: I have ten relatives who got Covid. Five from the same family got it after a December gathering. The elderly one ended up with pneumonia but recovered. In the past month, four more relatives caught Covid. I was a few feet from my daughter at dinner two days before she came down with Covid, but I didn’t catch it. She was seriously ill but recovered. Her husband got it and recovered. My stepdaughter and her husband caught Covid on vacation. She ended up with pneumonia but is recovering.
As for the vaccine: I have eight relatives and several in laws that I know of who got both shots – either from Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson and Johnson – most with no side effects. One of my sisters, her husband, and an acquaintance (all who’ve had both shots), were exposed to Covid in close quarters but didn’t get it. One relative was sick for a day after the vaccine. However, my other sister who had both vaccines is fighting for her life with double pneumonia and a heart rate lower than normal. She tests negative for Covid, but the hospital staff believes she has it and says to expect this battle to go on for a few weeks. Prayers are very much appreciated. Her name is Mary Ann.

Israel works to identify 45 killed in Lag Ba’omer Mount Meron stampede. Lag Ba’omer is a popular annual holiday in Israel originally begun to celebrate the end of an ancient plague. On this day, Hasidic Jews make pilgrimages to Mt Meron to pray at the tomb of an ancient honored sage and kabbalist, Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai (considered the author of the Zohar), and then celebrate his life with a bonfire, food, and chanting mystical songs. It’s so very sad that these people, including children under age 16, were killed and injured, but we would be remiss if we didn’t warn that Kabbalism is a cult. In recent times, there has been increased interest in kabbalah, and it’s commonly studied among Hasidic Jews and a number of non-Orthodox Jews, also among some Gentiles, including some “celebrities.” Fires are a traditional way to celebrate Lag Ba’omer in Israel — some say this is in honor of the “spiritual light” that the mystical Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai brought to the world.

An art exhibit, “DIY meal kit” for growing steaks made from human cells was nominated for 2020 “design of the year” by London-based Design Museum. “People think eating oneself is cannibalism, which technically this is not,” said Grace Knight, one of the designers. “Growing yourself ensures you and your loved ones always know the origin of your food, how it’s been raised and that its cells were acquired ethically and consensually,” a website for the imagined product states.
Pope Francis hangs in his study a painting of a naked resurrected Jesus caressing Judas. Francis has suggested that Judas is not in hell and says Jesus never called Judas a betrayer, only a friend. Yet scripture is very clear that Judas was possessed by Satan, Jesus said Judas would betray him, Jesus said it would have been better if Judas was never born, and Jesus referred to Judas as a devil (Matthew 26:14-25; John 6:70; John 13:21-27). But we shouldn’t be surprised by Francis’ lies since he also:
- denied that hell exists; said condemned souls just disappear.
- approved of homosexual civil unions.
- held an audience and mass with openly gay Catholics on Ash Wednesday 2019.
- said everyone, including atheists, are children of God (The Bible says only those in Christ can be called children of God, John 1:12).
- said all major religions are different paths to the same God. Here’s the video.
- authorized Islamic prayers and readings from the Quran at the Vatican. (The Catholic Catechism second edition paragraph 841 gives Muslims first place besides themselves as worshiping God. Yet Allah and Isa of the Quran are not describing God and Jesus of the Bible.)
- He’s pushing for a one-world (global) government and one-world religion, both of which will exist in the Tribulation and will be evil, led by the Antichrist and False Prophet of Revelation 13.

Could this be part of the “strong delusion” God sends during the Tribulation to those who have rejected Christ? Perhaps this is how the Rapture will be explained away – that alien saviors took us ‘intolerant’ Christians away to reeducate us to the world’s so-called truth.
CONCLUSION
