“These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever” (Jude 1:12-13).
Jude was speaking of false teachers that had crept into the churches. They were there then, and they are here now… IN ABUNDANCE!
“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth” (1 Timothy 4:1-3).
The ‘latter times’ refers to the times after Jesus’ ministry. Such as these were never true Christians in the first place, just Christian in name only – liars with no conscience! Hypocrites who claim that only they have the way to salvation. Satan needs a counterfeit Christianity, a great influential and deceptive system with paganism involved to draw people away from the worship, the honor, the reverence that belongs only to God and His Blessed Son, God in the flesh.
The deception is now at warp speed. In 2 Timothy 3, the apostle Paul perfectly describes the times in which we now live, the “perilous last days” when many would be “unholy,” “without natural affection,” “having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.” He said, “evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” He warns to turn away from them!
No doubt, we’ve returned to the days of Noah and Lot. Jesus said it would be like this when He returns. “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man… until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot…. But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed” (Luke 17:26-30).
Horrific Discovery
With these scriptures in mind, let’s begin with the latest news. Though this article concerns sexual abuse of children in so-called “Christian” institutions, it also occurs in secular ones, even those for the very wealthy elite. “The very nature of boarding schools — closed environments in which teachers can wield enormous power — can make them attractive to child abusers.”
751 more unmarked graves have been found at the site of what was once Canada’s residential school under the administration of the Roman Catholic Church to assimilate indigenous people. A few weeks ago, a mass grave containing 215 bodies of children at the former St. Paul’s Indian Residential School in Kamloops in British Columbia, Canada, was discovered. The remains were confirmed using ground-penetrating radar. At the time, it was announced that searching would continue. The total is now 966 with this latest discovery.
Canada’s prime minister is appealing for Pope Francis to apologize on behalf of the Catholic Church. However, previous requests for the pope and the Catholic Church to make a formal apology have gone unanswered.
The Kamloops residential school operated between 1890 and 1969 under Roman Catholic administration. The government took over the facility’s operation from the Catholic Church and ran it as a day school until it closed in 1978. It was one of over 130 such schools in Canada between 1874 and 1996, part of the Canadian residential school system in which the government forced Native American children from their families to “assimilate” them into Canadian society.
The children at Kamloops endured brutal abuse of every kind imaginable by their caregivers [aka nuns and priests]. Various reports state that children were beaten if they spoke their native language, and they were forced to convert to Catholicism. Besides the physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, children caught “numerous infections, colds, bronchitis, and pneumonia” during the winter due to poor construction of the buildings. Others died of tuberculosis, in a fire, drowned or froze to death while trying to escape. One report says they were also victims of “science” experiments.
In 2015, a report from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission called the residential schools a system of “cultural genocide.” The report concluded that at least 4,100 students died while attending the schools, many due to abuse, negligence, disease, or accidents. The report also stated that “it would be impossible to estimate the total number of deaths that occurred at the schools.” The actual total could be 6,000 or more.
In 2008, Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper officially apologized for the harm done by the residential school system. With this latest discovery, Vancouver Mayor Kennedy Stewart is “calling for all residential school sites in Canada to be expertly examined… so that we can begin to identify the thousands of children we know are unaccounted for.”

But There’s More
Orphanages And Homes for The Destitute Run by The Catholic Church Where Atrocities Against Children Were Committed
In the now-closed St. Joseph’s Orphanage in Burlington, Vermont, in the US, children were abused physically, emotionally, sexually, and allegedly even killed. There were orphanages run by the Catholic Church also in other US states with similar stories.
Then there’s the abuse scandal in the Sisters of Mercy orphanages. Allegations of abuse of children in certain institutions owned, managed, and largely staffed by the Sisters of Mercy in Ireland form a sub-set of allegations of child abuse made against Catholic clergy and members of Catholic religious institutions in several countries. The abuse allegations ranged from overuse of corporal punishment to emotional abuse and included accusations of sexual abuse by laypersons employed at the institutions.
Former Bons Secours Catholic home for unwed mothers in Ireland (from 1925 to 1961) where hundreds of babies and children died. A former workhouse in Tuam, County Galway, which housed destitute adults and children, was converted into a mother and baby home. The bodies of nearly 800 babies and young children were discovered in a large underground space meant to contain sewage or waste water at the home run by nuns, and there were many unmarked graves. Research showed that, on average, a child from the home died every two weeks between 1925 and 1961. This was not uncommon for such institutions in Ireland.
The Mother and Baby Homes Commission Investigation was established in 2015 by the Irish government to investigate institutions, most run by Catholic religious nuns. Besides the horror discovered at the Bon Secours Mother and Baby Home in Tuam, County Galway, its remit additionally covered investigation into records of and practices at an additional thirteen Mother and Baby Homes. In January 2021, the final report detailed that around 9,000 children, one in seven born in the 18 institutions covered by the Commission’s terms of reference, had died in them between 1922 and 1998. The Irish Taoiseach Micheál Martin made a formal apology to survivors.
What About the *Anglican Church in Canada?
The same atrocities also occurred during the same timeframe in indigenous schools in Canada that were run by the Anglican Church.
The Mohawk school in Canada was operated by the Anglican Church from 1828 to 1969, after which it was under the control of the Canadian federal government. Children from other tribes besides Mohawk were students there as well. Many former students described suffering physical, sexual, and emotional atrocities at the school. Students nicknamed the school “the Mush Hole” due to the poor quality of food served to students.

The 39 Articles, developed in the reign of Elizabeth I, laid out the Protestant doctrine and practice of the Anglican Church but were deliberately written to be so vague that they were open to various interpretations by Protestants and Catholics. Like the Catholic Church, it adds doctrine you won’t find in the Bible, but are the doctrines…commandments…traditions of men.]
True Christian unity of the brethren is a good thing, but what stands for unity today – mixing in false doctrine – is not true Christianity. Rather, it is a false gospel.
Here are more examples of child abuse in homes run by those who dared to call themselves Christian.
Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul orphanages: Smyllum Park and Bellevue. In Smyllum, children were sexually abused by priests, a trainee priest, Sisters, members of staff, and a volunteer. They were beaten with implements such as leather straps, rosary beads, wooden crucifixes, and dogs’ leads.
Sisters of Nazareth Houses in Aberdeen, Cardonald, Lasswade and Kilmarnock. The Inquiry found that, between 1933 and 1984, children who had been in the care of Sisters of Nazareth orphanages had encountered sexual abuse “of the utmost depravity.”
Quarriers Homes, Inverclyde. Quarriers Homes were summarized in the Inquiry’s report as institutions where children in their care suffered physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. “Scant regard was paid to their dignity,” and they lived in “harsh, rigid regimes.”
St. Ninians, Falkland. Sexual abuse of children was endemic throughout the whole period of St Ninian’s existence, but in particular from late 1969 to its closure in 1983. Children were abused physically, emotionally, and sexually. The report names three sexual predators: Brother William Ryan, former Brother Paul Kelly, and former Brother John Farrell. This Catholic Order operated within an environment which allowed them to select their victims without any fear of discovery or disclosure. The sexual abuse of children became normalized and was of the most depraved kind. Children were induced to engage in sexual activity with each other in groups and in the presence of the Brothers. The showering areas were identified as locations where abuse, including rape, took place. One victim told how he was raped by priests during “satanic” drink-fueled sex parties.
The Aberlour Orphanage was founded in 1875 by an *Episcopalian Minister, Canon Charles Jupp. This orphanage was also reported by the Inquiry to be a child care institution where children suffered physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.

Barnardo’s, a British charity, was founded by Thomas John Barnardo in 1866. Barnardo was educated in Catholic school but later became a Lutheran. [The Lutheran Church embraces some of the ceremonies and liturgies of the Catholic Church.] Barnardo was accused of taking children without parental permission. He admitted this, calling it ‘philanthropic abduction’ in which the end justified the means. He was also accused of presenting staged images of children for Barnardo’s ‘before and after’ cards and neglecting basic hygiene for the children under his care.
In forced child migration, children from poor social backgrounds were taken to the former colonies (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa) by churches and charities without parent consent and even under false claims of death. By the time of his death in 1905, Barnardo’s institutions had over 8,500 children in 96 locations. Although this was a legal scheme favored by Government and society, in many cases the children suffered harsh living conditions, physical and even sexual abuse. Between 1945 and 1974, Barnardo’s supported and participated in colonization policies that saw around 150,000 children exported to imperial colonies where they were mostly abused, beaten, and neglected. This merited a public apology by Britain’s Prime Minister Gordon Brown in 2010.
Sadly, this is not a complete list of names of schools and orphanages accused of abusing children.
A ‘MYSTERY’ NO MORE
Sexual abuse of children in the Catholic Church has been mind-boggling from its inception to the present day. See Catholic Church sexual abuse cases by country.
The Roman Empire did not die; it continued on in a “mystery form” through the bishops who had gained power during that time. It is a lie that the Roman Catholic Church was the early church begun by the apostle Peter. And during the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century, brave souls were burned at the stake for trying to get the Bible into the hands of the laypeople so they could actually see what it really taught, which would expose the lies people were being taught by the Roman Catholic Church.
Only in Christ alone is there salvation, not in a church system’s doctrines of men. The idea that there are many paths to God is being promoted heavily today, especially by the current pope. He reminds me of the False Prophet in Revelation 13 who has “horns like a lamb but speaks like a dragon.” This “many paths to God” ploy is being perpetrated in order to bring all religions under the dome of the Roman Catholic Church. The Catholic Catechism #841 even gives Muslims first place along with the Catholic Church in worshiping the one true God. Yet, Allah is not the God of the Bible, and Islam’s teachings speak against Christians and Jews. There are even Protestant pastors involved in “Chrislam,” teaching that Muslims believe in the same God as Christians.
False teachers everywhere are leading their flocks into the coming universal false religion of the Tribulation. The Bible speaks of a “Mother of Harlots” false religious system that it calls “Mystery Babylon.” God calls it an “abomination” (Revelation 17). All false religions have their roots in pagan Babylon. The angel describes this Mother of Harlots system that is dressed in purple and scarlet to John and where it is headquartered. It should leave no doubt as to its identity.

Conclusion
I would be remiss if I didn’t also point out that all denominations of mainstream Protestant churches now conform to the secular world to one degree or another. Some even ordain openly homosexual ministers. Apostasy has also invaded evangelical churches.
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables” (2 Timothy 4:3-4).
“Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows” (1 Timothy 6:5-10).
“And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not” (2 Peter 2:3).
Churches that don’t abide by the Word of God are like the people Ezekiel spoke of: “They come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not” (Ezekiel 33:31-32).
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).
“In vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men” (Matthew 15:9).
“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another [no other true gospel]; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ” (Galatians 1:6-12).
Changing the truth of God into a lie leads to all kinds of perversion. Romans 1:18-32 speaks of this.
God is especially protective of children. “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea…. Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 18:6, 10).
Immorality is literally rampant. “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits….” (Matthew 7:15-16).
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:21-23).
