US: 1 Month in & California’s Dixie Fire Shows Little Signs of Slowing Down. It’s incinerated an entire town and forced thousands to flee their homes. An already difficult wildfire fight could become harder this weekend (Aug 13-14) as firefighters brace for triple-digit temps and potential of dry lightning.
US: Midwest storms left 850,000 without power on Wednesday, with the most residents in the dark in Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Illinois. 60 to 80 mph winds were reported.
US: Blackouts related to severe weather increasing in US. Researchers said blackouts have more than doubled in the last six years, often during weather events when power is needed; number of blackouts in the Pacific Northwest this summer is a prime example.
US: Tropical storm warnings posted in Florida Keys ahead of Fred’s arrival during August 14-15 weekend.
Europe: Intense, long-lasting heatwave expected. High temps expected to spread into central Europe and continue through August 22.
Europe: Extreme heat may have produced a new all-time high temperature record in Europe. A heatwave that has been building much of this week throughout the Mediterranean allowed temps in Siracusa on the island of Sicily in Italy to reach 119.8 F (48.8 C) on Wednesday. If verified, it would become the highest temperature ever recorded in Europe.
Greece: Nearly 254,520 acres have gone up in flames between July 29 and August 13. Fires burning for over a week that have caused Greece’s worst ecological disaster in decades are said to be finally under control as the government raced to fund reconstruction amid mounting anger. It has come under withering criticism from locals in stricken areas whose income from agricultural products and tourism has been wiped out. A new fire broke out on Friday on the already devastated Evia Island, where entire villages have been lost. As of Friday afternoon, the fire had not been brought under control.
Italy: Rare August Flooding in Venice Overtakes Landmarks. Venice’s iconic Piazza San Marco was under water August 8 as floods hit the city. “High water” flooding in August has happened only five times previously. 11th century St Mark’s Basilica is slowly crumbling due to repeated flooding, with saltwater corroding marble and mosaics, leaving at least one of its colonnades held together with rope.
Algeria: Destructive wildfires leave at least (update) 69 dead.
Japan: Extremely heavy rain over parts of southwestern Japan on August 12, forcing authorities to issue warnings and evacuation orders. Residents are warned to be on alert as a linear band of rain clouds is raising the risk of life-threatening floods and landslides. Heavy rain is likely to continue hitting many areas from August 14 onward.
India: 2,000 evacuated after deadly landslide. People were evacuated from 13 villages in Himachal Pradesh state as a “preventative measure” in case of flash floods. This is the second landslide to hit the northern state this week. On Wednesday, 12 people were killed after a bus and other vehicles were buried by rocks and mud. Sixteen are unaccounted for. 13 others were pulled from the rubble.
New Zealand frigid polar blast: Grid emergency declared; cities plunge into darkness as polar blast brings nationwide all-time high power demand on August 9 due to a rapidly deepening low-pressure system across central New Zealand, bringing heavy snow, severe gale southerlies, and frigid temps.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

Scientific American, the oldest continuously published monthly magazine in the US, published an editorial by Allison Hopper titled “Denial of Evolution Is a Form of White Supremacy.” “I want to unmask the lie that evolution denial is about religion and recognize that at its core, it is a form of white supremacy that perpetuates segregation and violence against black bodies,” she wrote. The article’s bizarre thesis ascribing malicious intent to Bible believers can be attributed to the author’s ignorance of the text. She claims the Bible says Cain was cursed with dark skin for killing his brother Abel. Yet, the Bible says no such thing. It’s interesting to note that the editorial descended into full-blown racism by claiming “the global scientific community overwhelmingly accepts that all living humans are of African descent.”
We’re seeing a foretaste of what will be even worse in the Tribulation. “And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another” (Matthew 24:10).

Description of the event on Facebook says everyone will come together and “give a middle finger to the sky to end Christianity and create more Atheists.” It says it will also help fight the Global Prayer so “their sky daddy won’t snatch us up.” This shouldn’t shock anyone who knows the signs of the End Times. The Bible describes humanity doing such things in Revelation:

They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores and did not repent of their deeds” (Revelation 16:10-11). “And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. WHO Announces “Marburg Virus.” As police fanned out across Paris in cafes to check Covid papers, and as Australia’s military deployed to Sydney to enforce extended lockdowns, WHO announced a brand-new outbreak of “Marburg Virus” in West Africa. Marburg is yet another highly infectious virus classified as highest-level biological threat (Risk Group 4). (Covid is Risk Group 3.) Marburg comes from the same virus family as Ebola. While Covid has a roughly 1.7% fatality rate, limited data from the past 20 years of Marburg cases shows 85% fatality rate. One person died from Marburg in Guinea (their first case); authorities estimate 145 people may have been in contact with him, potentially exposed.
Public health policy is starting to look like a never-ending Mobius Strip where we just go around an endless loop, repeating the same things over and over. The study was conducted at 80 medical centers around the world using Molnupiravir. “The general conclusion from this stage is that, first of all, the drug is safe,” Hadassah University Medical Center’s Prof. Yosef Caraco said. “Those who were treated by the drug were less likely to need hospitalization compared to those who received a placebo.”

Did Fauci knowingly fast-track approval for Covid treatment with Remdesivir with known deadly side effects? Remdesivir was one of four drugs in a clinical trial for Ebola in 2018 and was dropped from the study before it was over, after a safety review revealed it had the highest death rate of the drugs tested. The Ebola clinical trial was sponsored by National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), of which Fauci is director. He must have known remdesivir had a 50% death rate, compared to 35% of two other drugs in the trial – and that serious side-effects, including at least one death, led to the drug being pulled and research on it abandoned. Yet, he recommended it in April 2020 for Covid treatment, saying it showed a “positive effect” on recovery time.

The School District of Philadelphia, in collaboration with its Dept of Public Health, invites age 12 and older to a Pfizer COVID Vaccine Event,” according to a creepy and highly dystopian automated voicemail message. The message states, “The Philadelphia Board of Health has determined that persons 12 and older who can provide proof of their date of birth can receive a Pfizer vaccine without parental consent.”
California College Students Contest Vaccination Mandates to Return to Campus. University of California and California State University systems announced they’d be requiring students and staff to be fully inoculated against COVID by the fall semester, backtracking on their statements earlier that vaccinations wouldn’t be mandated unless one was given FDA’s full approval. None of the Covid vaccines have full FDA approval, only emergency authorization.

It appears that the fulfillment of Isaiah 17 and Ezekiel 38-39 is closer than it’s ever been.
