…THE ONLY ONE TRUE LIVING GOD: THE ONE WHO WAS, AND IS, AND IS TO COME!
This is a very interesting question or statement, isn’t it? I will reveal to you what the Holy Scriptures from the Bible state, which cannot be in question because God wrote the book. He is the One (The Holy Spirit) who inspired men to physically write down the words that He wanted therein.
Revelation 22:18-19 tells us that no person must add to them or take away from them, also the penalty for doing so.
2 Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”
Here is what the saint is supposed to be doing daily:
2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
A person can open the Scriptures and find out who God is and His plan for their life, which includes Salvation through His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ (John 3:16).
Jesus is the only way to eternal life, and that is written in the Holy Bible, which God brought to man.
Gospel of John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
There’s only One Father of all, and that is God. He has many names – Yahweh, Jehovah, Holy One… etc.
God is beyond man’s comprehension, and no words can fully describe Him in who He is.
And His Son is Jesus (Yeshua in the Hebrew)!
You who are not born again by the blood of Jesus His Son can find salvation. You don’t have to take my word or anyone else’s. Read the Scriptures and find Him and make your own decision. There is even a Scripture for that.
John 5:39 “Search the scriptures; for in them you think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”
I bet if you read the entire Gospel of John, there will be no doubt of you proclaiming who God Is and who His Son Is. You must be born again (read chapter 3).
So here are some mighty scriptures that show who God is. BTW, The Word is God is:
Holy:
Revelation 4:8b “and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.”
Precious:
1 Peter 2:6 “Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.”
Wonderful:
Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, the everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
Mighty:
Isaiah 1:24 “Therefore saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts, the mighty One of Israel…”
Jealous:
Exodus 34:14 “For thou shalt not worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.”
Glorious:
Titus 2:13 “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.”
Law:
Psalm 19:7 “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.”
Exalted:
Isaiah 33:5 “The Lord is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.”
Righteous Judge:
2 Timothy 4:8 “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
Longsuffering:
Psalm 86:15 “But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.”
Truth:
John 17:17 “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
Holy One of Israel:
Psalm 89:18 “For the Lord is our defense; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.”
These are just a few. I want you to go through each Scripture and look carefully and ask God to reveal to you what they are saying. I am not going to comment or input my thoughts on them; let the Holy Spirit teach you.
I’ll leave you with this: Isaiah 55:6 “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near.”
This is just a taste of our wonderful Creator, and all we need is His Word to believe in and abide by. God gave us His Only Begotten Son to believe in and inherit eternal life forever.
Revelation 22:20 “Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”
Blessings to you,
