My dear, dear children and grandchildren:
Please do not be alarmed that I am sending another ‘sermon’ to you about the event that must shortly take place – the Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ. Each time I approach the subject of your great need for repentance and acceptance of Christ’s free gift of Salvation, you tell me not to preach to you, or that you already know Jesus, or that you don’t want to hear ‘that stuff’ again. There are times you have even mocked the LORD and God Who formed you in the beginning. But God is not mocked, dear ones (Galatians 6:7). Please, read on if for no other reason than I am asking you to do so.
Lately, in our one-on-one conversations, each of you has expressed a deep concern about the current state of planet Earth. We have talked about not only geological upheavals in the world (earthquakes, volcanoes and storms) but also the extent of political, financial, and spiritual upheaval, which seems to manifest more intensely by the day.
You have expressed wonder at all the obvious lying that is spoken as Truth from politicians, news media, and even church authorities. One of you mentioned that the Church of England, while not endorsing same-sex marriage, nevertheless stands ready to bless, in their churches, such unions performed in a civil ceremony. You cannot figure out how open borders are ‘good’ for nations, as politicians across the world say they are. You scratch your head as to how unproven vaccines are nevertheless touted, by the people who make them, as ‘safe and effective,’ and the medical community buys it.
You think the financial world might explode at any given time, devaluing currencies worldwide. Mostly, you fear that another world war is coming, this time with nuclear weapons. One of you told me it is like being a passenger on the Titanic – that doom is ahead, and there is nothing you can do to stop it. AND YET, dear children, not one of you will step into the lifeboat I offer you, time and again.
God’s Holy Word tells us that the LORD does nothing without letting us know about it ahead of time. “Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants, the prophets” (Amos 3:7). I tell you, repeatedly, that the Bible is very clear about what is to come. And, for the umpteenth time, the Bible is NOT a fairy story. You have only to read it for yourselves to know that the things I tell you are not things I make up. The prophecies in both the Old and New Testaments are not myths.
You think you can discern the lies of the media and others who are creating the narrative of the worldwide agenda. You think you can do this because you read and watch the news of the world. Would it surprise you to know that if you were to read the Bible and study it as much as you study the news, you would soon begin to discern what the Truth really is and what it looks like? But you will never know the difference if you refuse to even open a Bible.
My dear ones, the time left for human beings on this earth is quickly coming to an end. God’s Word tells us that those of us who love the LORD, who have repented of our sin and asked for forgiveness in the precious blood of the Lamb of God – Yeshua Ha’Maschiach – and confessed Him LORD of our lives, are going to disappear one day soon. You know about this, for I have told you over and over again.
One of you asked me, “Mom, what are you going to do when it doesn’t happen?” I asked you, “What are YOU going to do when it does?” That is something to really start thinking about, especially now that we see so many things of the prophesied End Times converging on Point Zero.
For, I tell you, after we are gone, all hell is going to break loose, and I am not cursing when using that term. When the antichrist goes full power, there will be nothing to which it compares. The Nazi regime stomped on the countries of Europe in the Second World War. This time, something similar will come to encompass the whole world. If you doubt that, please do some research about the WEF and the UN’s Agenda 30.
Jesus Himself prophesied about those days in this way, “For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now – and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.”
If you think past tribulations that you have read about – the I and II World Wars, the U.S. Civil War, the French Revolution, and so on – if you think those were as bad as it gets, think again. Multiply those horrors by a thousandfold, and still, you cannot imagine it.
But God’s people will not face this time. Apostle Paul tells us a mystery, which appears in 1 Corinthians 15, and also in 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18…
“For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him. According to the LORD’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive who are left until the coming of the LORD, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the LORD Himself will come down from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the LORD in the air. And so we will be with the LORD forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.”
Let me ask you, do you truly think it would be an encouragement to the faithful to know they would be enduring the tribulation, which, by the way, is a period of seven years, 3 ½ of them super fraught with terror, for not only will the antichrist be hard at work in the world, but the heavenly realms are also busy with end times judgments. You can read all about it in the Book of Revelation, especially chapters six through 18.
Now, please note that the first three chapters of Revelation are all about the churches of the earth. From chapter 4 on, the Church is never again even mentioned. Why do you suppose that is?
When the people of Christ’s church stand steadfast and true in Him, He promises to keep all of them from the tribulation. Revelation 3:10-11 – “Since you have kept My command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one will take your crown.”
There is one more Scripture you really need to hear about concerning the words of the Bible. Revelation 21:5-6a – “He Who was seated on the throne [of heaven, that is the LORD God Almighty] said, ‘I am making everything new!’ Then He said, ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true. He said to me: ‘It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.'”
“Oh?” you say. “Happy ever after? Sure. Sure.” Yes, my child, nothing could be surer than this promise from the One Who crafted the entire universe and all things in it, including you and me.
Still need convincing that God’s Word, once given, cannot be rescinded? That what He promises always comes to fruition?
If nothing more than just this one prophecy had been fulfilled, it would be more than enough to make you trust God’s Word: For about 400 years before Jesus walked in the land of Judea, until May 14, 1948, there was no land called Israel. After Jesus ascended and the apostles were establishing the Way, Truth and Life of the Messiah, the Romans sacked Jerusalem (70 AD), and Israel became a wasteland over the next 19 centuries, an outpost province of various nations and kingdoms.
In the year 1867, American writer Samuel Clemens, known as Mark Twain, wrote a book based on his travels in the Mideast, calling it Innocents Abroad. In this book, you will read the following passage: “Of all the lands there are for dismal scenery, I think Palestine must be the prince… Can the curse of the Deity beautify a land? Palestine sits in sackcloth and ashes. Over it broods the spell of a curse that has withered its fields and fettered its energies.”
Less than a century later, following the Holocaust of World War II, Jews were back in the land God had promised to them, forever. On May 14, 1948, the Land the Romans had named “Palestine” was returned to the Jews of the world. They still had to fight for it, but fight they did. Three major wars, all of them seemingly impossible for the Jews to win, were indeed won against all odds. Many see the Hand of God helping them to settle back ‘home.’
The prophet Isaiah wrote, “Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labour than she gives birth to her children” (Isaiah 66:8). This is a small snippet from a chapter that describes the judgment of Israel, that it would be a conquered land and that the Jews would go into exile, but in a far-off day, God’s Chosen People would return to the land of Israel, and it would be a land of milk and honey once more. The desert would even bloom.
Since the Jewish people have been back, the tiny nation has become something of a wonder of the world, for it now teems with life. Where before there was only “the spell of a curse that has withered the fields,” today there are orchards and vineyards and an abundance of world-famous vegetables grown there. Jaffa oranges from Israel grace homes all over the world, for example.
Not one other nation, dead for so long, ever came back to life – only Israel, as the LORD God promised it would.
And that is significant for the end times, for Jesus prophesied that the time for His return to earth would be ushered in by “the fig tree” (a nickname for Israel) coming to life again. “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it (or He) is near, right at the door” (Matthew 24:32-33).
Well, there, I’ve gone and preached to you, haven’t I? But I am not apologizing. Like the Apostle Paul, I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Romans 1:16-17 – “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the Gospel the righteousness of God is revealed – a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.'”
Dear ones – and I write to all the dear unsaved children of all ages – our time grows short. Even the devil knows his time is short. “He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short” (Rev. 12:12). He is abroad in the world as never before in all of history. Please consider what is at stake here – your immortal soul – life eternal! Abundant life, Jesus called it – where there will be no more pain, no sorrow, no suffering, no tears, and no more loss.
Before I was born again in the Blood of the Lamb, I didn’t want to be a ‘nerdy Christian,’ having to give up all the fun stuff. But once I saw the Truth for what it is, I never saw the world with the same eyes ever again. God’s love for us doesn’t mean giving up anything. It means having everything you could possibly imagine – the promise of refuge in His wings – love everlasting, life eternal, and joy that never ends. The only thing you give up to become a Christian is the guilt of your sin, which you then discover is the heaviest burden you will ever carry. The lightness of being a Christian, a servant of Jesus Christ, is a great gift, indeed. It’s called FREEDOM.
Dear ones – please read on, and if you are moved by the Holy Spirit to adopt the ABCs, please find a Bible-believing Pastor and ask for further instruction. Meanwhile, repent of your sin, give your life to Christ, and begin your eternal journey right away. God bless you!
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
A – Admit that you are a sinner in need of a Saviour.
Admit what you have done wrong and ask forgiveness.
Romans 3:23 “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 6:23 “The wages of sin is death.”
I John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
B – Believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again as payment for your sins.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.”
Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
C – Confess Jesus as LORD of your life.
Matthew 16:24 “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
Romans 10:9 “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:13 “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
This article, based on God’s Holy Word, was written by the inspiration of His own Holy Spirit. All glory to God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, forever. Amen.
