Psalm 68:4; “Sing to God; Sing praises to His name; lift up a song to Him who rides through the deserts; His name is the Lord; Exult before Him.” Romans 16:27; “to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ, Amen.” (ESV – all emphasis is mine)
Romans 11:36; “for from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever, Amen.” Galatians 1:3-5; “Grace to you and peace from our Father and Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory forever and ever, Amen.”
Philippians 4:20; “To our God and Father be glory forever and ever, Amen.”
Then 2 Timothy 4:18; “The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and bring me safely into His Heavenly Kingdom. To Him be the glory forever and ever, Amen.”
God’s word is absolutely filled with messages of well-deserved praise for Him, our Savior Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. There is nothing that takes place in this world that surprises our Holy Trinity. We have been given insight as to what would be taking place right up to the tribulation/wrath, and from there to the end of the existence of this present sin-filled earth. All events today are in Bible Prophecy and right up to date.
Taking a close look at today’s events and then looking at God’s Holy Word, we see a covenant that He made with Abraham that is still in effect today. Genesis 12:1-3; “Now the Lord said to Abram, go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him that dishonors you, I will curse; and in you all families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Please note that when God says, “I will,” that is His solemn promise that He will keep forever.
This covenant had no timeline attached to it. As given in 2 Peter 3:8, “But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” Through Abraham’s bloodline, our Lord and Savior came to this earth for the purpose of providing a perfect sacrifice for God’s chosen people. Following through on God’s covenant that “all the families of the earth shall be blessed,” Jesus Himself stated in John 10:16, “And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice. So there will be one flock, one Shepherd.”
The Father has kept His covenant, and in more than one place in Scripture, it states, “All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” This means that every living, breathing soul on this earth who truly receives and accepts the Savior as their Messiah is a part of His precious flock.
The sad part is more will reject the Savior than will accept Him. Jesus said this would be so in Matthew 7:13-14 when He talked about the road to destruction versus the pathway to eternal life. Even though the Jews are the chosen people, they must still receive and accept Jesus as their Savior or be lost forever. It is estimated that of the over 15 million Jewish people worldwide, only about 2% to 3% are Messianic, or have the Savior in their hearts. Yet it is obvious that on the Father’s part, His covenant still stands.
In Zechariah 13:8, we read, “In the whole land, declares the Lord, two thirds shall be cut off and perish, and one-third shall be left.” Looking at Philippians 2:9-11, the time is coming that all will believe, even those who are lost, that Jesus is the one true Savior; “Therefore, God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, in Heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father.”
That will include even the most evil and wicked presence that has ever lived – Satan. He and all of his demons will be included in that “All.”
We are seeing events take place in this world today that are signaling the Rapture is just around the corner. We cannot predict the day or hour, but our Lord Himself told us that when all the signs are here, He is very near (Luke 21:28).
During the tribulation/wrath, the words of Zechariah above will become obvious. In Lamentations 3:46-50, 55-57, we can just about see and feel how the people will call out to the Lord in despair. “All our enemies open their mouths against us; panic and pitfall have come upon us; devastation and destruction; my eyes flow a river of tears because of the destruction of the daughters of my people. My eyes will flow without ceasing, with respite, until the Lord from Heaven looks down and sees.”
“I called on Your name Oh Lord, from the depths of the pit. You heard my plea; do not close Your ear to my cry for help. You came near when I called on You, You said, ‘Do Not Fear.'”
Israel is the only nation on this earth that was just about taken out of existence in AD70, and after almost 2000 years, became a sovereign nation once again. In between that time, the land was almost uninhabitable, as was written about by Samuel Clemens, aka Mark Twain, in 1867.
When Israel declared on May 14, 1948, that they were once again a sovereign nation, two things happened almost immediately. First, Harry S. Truman recognized their sovereign status and was the first national leader to welcome them. Second, the Arab nations around them immediately went into “attack” mode in an attempt to eliminate them once and for all. With limited resources, the tiny nation survived the attack and began a pattern of growth that could only be described as “God-Inspired.”
Since then, Israel has been attacked several times by numerous neighboring countries, but thus far, have always come out successful. Their desert lands have become fertile for growing crops to the point that they even export their overabundance to other countries. There have been deposits of natural gas and oil discovered within their boundaries, and they export them as well. This directly affects Russia’s economy, and the Arab nations are still jealous of them.
It should be evident that this nation about the size of New Jersey has received Divine help. They realize that if they were ever to be conquered by the other nations, they would not just be defeated; they would be eliminated altogether. They have suffered pain and setbacks, yet they are still a force to be reckoned with.
All praise and glory must be given to the Father for the Jewish success story. One thing about His chosen people is that they are willing to share their land with anyone who would be willing to live peacefully with them. Again, this follows the concept that Jesus told about where there would be “one flock; one Shepherd.”
The tribulation will definitely be extremely hard on the Jewish people, as Zechariah told us. However, at the end of that time, when Jesus comes to this earth for His Millennial reign, they will have the opportunity to be at peace once again, and this time with Yeshua ruling them from Jerusalem.
To avoid the coming wrath, all who are true believers and have received and accepted Jesus as their Savior will not be here for the tribulation/wrath. Paul tells us in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 about the Rapture that will keep us from that horrible time. However, we must call on Jesus to be our Savior before that takes place. The dead in Christ will rise first, and then those believers who are still alive will rise up next to meet the Savior in the air. This is for everyone, Jew or Gentile, worldwide.
All who do not have Jesus when they take their last breath here will be scheduled for the Revelation 20:11-15 White Throne Judgment. This includes all who went against the will of God before Calvary, and all who rejected Jesus from Calvary to the end of the Millennium. No one wins at that Judgment. There will be no forgiveness, no pardons, no limited sentences, and even Satan will be cast into the lake of fire forever.
There are no other options, and it is totally each individual’s choice where they will spend eternity. It will be eternal life with Jesus in Heaven or eternal punishment with Satan and his demons in hell. This will be the most important decision you can ever make. All who truly choose the Son of the Living God will not be turned away. At the same time, God will not force anyone to choose Jesus.
For any who have never read God’s word – the Bible – I would suggest reading the book of John first, then Romans. After that, Matthew through Revelation, and afterward, Genesis through Revelation. Just get a true translation that you can understand, such as the New American Standard or the English Standard Version.
There is a great chance that the Rapture will take place before you finish the whole book, but you will be ready to be with Jesus. We hope to see you with us at the feet of our Beloved Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. Amen!
Come, Lord Jesus!
