VANCOUVER ISLAND, Canada – A 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit the Washington and Canada coastline, causing a shakeup around the region.The earthquake, which struck just off Vancouver Island around 8 a.m. on Thursday, reached a depth of around 6 miles, keeping the threat of a tsunami low. Two additional smaller earthquakes followed the initial tremor: a 5.4 and a 4.7 magnitude quake hit just a few hours later.
