Former US President Donald Trump was seen in public for the first time since surviving an attempted assassination attempt when he was filmed stepping off his private plane at Newark Liberty International Airport early Sunday morning. Trump campaign deputy communications director Margo Martin posted a video of Trump disembarking ‘Trump Force One’ and wrote, “Strong and resilient. He will never stop fighting for America.”

President Trump issued a statement on the shooting incident at his rally in Pennsylvania on Truth Social. “I want to thank The United States Secret Service, and all of Law Enforcement, for their rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania. Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured. It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country.
