I always look forward to watching pastor and prophecy teacher Andy Woods every Friday on YouTube where he examines current events in the US and around the world as compared to Bible prophecy. His program is called Pastors Point of View if you’d like to check it out. This past Friday, while talking about the border issues of late, he made what I thought was a profound comment that went something like this: “God designed this world with nations that have borders (Sandy: remember what happened when He destroyed the Tower of Babel? Satan has been trying ever since to create a borderless one-world system ever since…) and in fact, there is a ‘border’ in Heaven. NO ONE will ever cross that border illegally.”
That just blew my hair back! Think about it: it is true that there is only One way to cross that border. No tunneling under. No climbing over. No cutting a hole to pass through. No flying over. ONLY by believing, by faith, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, died on the cross to pay for the sins of the world, and rose from the dead, will anyone cross this heavenly border.
Imagine that the Savior of the world ascended back to Heaven and is, as we speak, preparing a place for all those who believe. And (drum roll, please) get this: everything you could ever dream of will be provided, free of charge, for all eternity… for those who cross that Heavenly Border.
The key? You must get your passport BEFORE you leave your current residence here on Earth. After you leave this Earth in death, it will be too late to apply.
