God’s Word Trumps Trump
It appears we are, in a sense, at the end of the cosmic endgame. If compared to cards, the winning hand is about to be revealed. And the outcome is not a gamble in any sense.
The One who holds that winning hand cannot lose. He knows every card held by every opponent, and they are all losers. This is because they choose not to accept the hand originally given them but rather continue determined to play by rules contrary to the One who deals only in truth.
Truth is all that matters in this game, and when deliberately denying the truth, either on purpose or in ignorance, the player suffers loss to one degree or another.
And now I get to the point of this metaphor. I will aim it at the presidential candidate I support in the upcoming presidential election. It is not a gentle comparison I make, because I want Mr. Trump to realize that when it comes to God’s Word, we are not in the hallway of our junior high years. It is a deadly serious matter to deny the truth—and God’s Word is the only truth there is.
In this eternal high-stakes end game, your word, Mr. President, is trumped by the inerrant Word of the one who holds the hand that cannot be overridden.
Your declaration recently is a most egregious misunderstanding of earthly geopolitics from God’s inerrant view.
In his characteristically outspoken manner, Trump has been critical of Jews who support his opponent. At a speech addressing antisemitism Thursday night in Washington D.C., he warned that if Harris enters the White House as president, Israel would be “eradicated.”
“If I don’t win this election, Israel, in my opinion, will cease to exist within two years, and I believe I’m 100% right,” Trump said. “If I do win, Israel will be safe and secured.”
Dr. Miriam Adelson, the widow of late casino magnate Sheldon Adelson [who leads the way in a large Jews-for-Trump group] spoke in favor of the candidate, saying that Jews have a “sacred duty” to vote for Trump “in gratitude for everything he has done and trust in everything he will yet do.”…
She has written that Trump “should enjoy sweeping support” among U.S. Jews and Israelis and that Trump deserves a “Book of Trump” in the Bible due to his support for Israel…
She did, however, chide Trump after the event. While noting that his claims had some merit, she added, “Our people have one more secret.”
Adelson quoted from the Passover Haggadah to explain what that secret is, “And this [promise] is what has stood by our ancestors and us; for it was not only one man who rose up to destroy us: in every single generation people rise up to destroy us—but the Holy One, Blessed Be He, saves us from their hands.” (“Trump warns President Harris would “eradicate” Israel but Megadonor corrects him: ‘Jews have a secret’”—Israel365 News)
Donald Trump, as president, did much to support Israel. He has taken strong and definitive stands against anti-Semitism. For this, he no doubt was at least in part brought to that high office by the Lord. But it is obvious from his rhetoric that he is woefully ignorant of the truth in this cosmic end game we’re in the midst of.
This Jewish influencer/supporter has corrected him, although I’ve not seen or heard any evidence of Mr. Trump acknowledging that he was wrong by saying that if he doesn’t win this November, Israel will cease to exist within two years.
Mr. President, I hope someone will pass this along to you. You can’t play junior-high word games when it comes to God’s chosen nation. And I say that as one who is praying that if we reach Election Day, you will be the victor. I pray for your safety and for ours as a nation.
That God will assure our continued traversing upon this planet is something we can’t know for certain. But the continued existence of the nation Israel is a God-guaranteed matter.
God’s Holy Word trumps your words, Mr. President. Here is that Word, issued from the Holy Spirit-inspired prophet Jeremiah thousands of years ago:
“This is what the Lord says, ‘He who appoints the sun to shine by day, Who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—the Lord Almighty is His Name; Only if these ordinances vanish from My sight,’ declares the Lord, ‘will the descendants of Israel ever cease to be a nation before Me” (Jeremiah 31:35-36).
The date of posting this article is most poignant as we remember October 7, 2023. Israel’s blood-vowed enemies inflicted the most heinous atrocities against the Jewish people since the time of Hitler’s Holocaust.
This is but one more reminder of just how near the world is to entering the time known as Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30: 7). But even during the time Jesus Himself said would be the worst in all of human history, Israel and the Jewish people will, as a chosen remnant, be preserved to go into the millennial reign of the Messiah they rejected two millennia ago.
It will not be Donald J. Trump or anyone or anything other that will bring them to that glorious head of all nations of history. It will be done by the very Word of the Living God!
“If his sons forsake My law, and do not walk in My judgments, if they violate My statues, and do not keep My commandments, then I will visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. But I will not break off My loving kindness from him, nor deal falsely in My faithfulness. My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips. Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David. His descendants shall endure forever like the moon, and the witness in the sky is faithful” (Psalm 89:30-37).

God The Holy Spirit is turning on the Light of God’s Truth in Pakistan and other areas of the Spiritually darkened world.
Again, I’m appealing to you, who understand through Holy Spirit Enlightenment just how late is the prophetic hour, to help us print and distribute the little book Prophecy Power: Strength From God To Face Your Future to the people of Pakistan.
Pastor Anil Jasper worked diligently to translate the quarterly-sized Sunday school book into his native language. The results have been powerful in helping turn on that Light of understanding about Jesus and His soul-saving Sacrifice. Anil reports that the book distribution is reaping great rewards in terms of his people accepting Christ –something that might not have happened if not for the presentation in our little book.
Please consider again supporting this effort, as time looks to be short, according to all prophetic stage-setting signals in the world today. We want to one day hear the words from our Lord: “Well done, good, faithful servant.”
Please go to the following to read more and contribute.

Ancient Foes and Today’s Headlines
The words of Solomon in Ecclesiastes 1:9 relate to the events of the past week, “There is nothing new under the sun.”
The players are different. The technology appears to be far advanced from anything we have seen in just the past twenty-five years. Yet there is a sameness about today’s headlines that pertain to Israel. It’s about ancient foes.
A remarkable passage in Daniel connects recent attacks on Israel to the distant past.
“Then he said to me, ‘Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words. The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I was left there with the kings of Persia, and came to make you understand what is to happen to your people in the latter days. For the vision is for days yet to come'” (10:12-14).
In the text that follows, which we assume came from this angelic visitor, we read an overview of the future Greek empire that stretches forward to the time of the antichrist and Tribulation period, including the end of human history (Daniel 11:1-12:2).
This “prince of the kingdom of Persia” is a strong demonic power who was able to hinder an angel from providing Daniel with an explanation of his vision. He has not gone away. Today, he works behind the scenes, inspiring murderous hatred among the leaders of current-day Persia, Iran. We don’t know all that this dark entity knew about the future in Daniel’s day, but do we see its deep determination to keep Him from writing about Israel’s future?
Michael, a high-ranking and powerful angel, interceded back then to enable the messenger to reach the prophet. He also appears toward the end of the message that came through the other angel:
“At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book” (Daniel 12:1).
Although the Tribulation has not yet started, what we read is the clash of the archangel Michael, “who has charge” of the people of Israel, and the demonic entity inspiring Iran to attack Israel through its proxies as well as directly. Much suffering lies ahead for the Jewish people, but in the end, they will turn their hearts to the Messiah and enjoy the blessings of a gloriously restored kingdom.
Why is Satan Determined to Eliminate Israel?
With hindsight, we understand the devil’s agenda for inspiring Haman to destroy the Jewish people in ancient Persia, as recorded in the book of Esther. He knew that the Messiah would come through the Jewish people and, in particular, the tribe of Judah and the line of King David. His opposition to God’s saving purposes led him to extreme measures, even the killing of infants in Bethlehem.
As Paul points out in 1 Corinthians 2:6-8, the enemy didn’t understand the Lord’s saving purposes in sending His Son to die in our place upon the cross. His first attempt to stop God’s plan failed, but why the continuation of his murderous opposition to the Jewish people? Does it not get back to the message Daniel received regarding the time of the end and Israel’s ultimate deliverance?
Although we don’t know all that this elite demonic power knew about the future, based on what the Lord had already revealed to Daniel, he likely assumed it would’ve pertained to the destruction of Satan’s realm and the establishment of Christ’s kingdom on the earth. If that is what he guessed, he was correct.
The battle between Michael and this ancient dark force assigned to Persia continues. Satan knows that the prophecies recorded in the books of Daniel pertain to a wondrously restored Israel and the book of Revelation to the Lord’s return to the earth, at which time He will complete the demolition of the antichrist’s rule and establish His thousand-year rule over all the nations of the earth.
Just as with Jesus’ first coming, Satan’s agenda is all about stopping God’s plans for His Son and the Jewish people. If the demonic entity behind modern-day Iran can eliminate the Jewish state and its people, he believes he can thwart what the Lord intends for the future. Just as in the past, he will fail. Michael will fight for His people, and the Lord will return in glory, just as the Bible says.
The Good News for Us as New Testament Saints
Satan’s vastly intensified opposition to both Israel and the Jews tells us that he knows his time is exceedingly short. Like us, he recognizes the signs but doesn’t know the timing of the Rapture. For us, it’s our “blessed hope” (Titus 2:13). For him, it will signify that his doom is sure.
The clash of ancient foes playing out now before our eyes is just one of many signs that tell us we live in the days immediately preceding the seven-year Tribulation. There will be a seventieth week of Daniel when the Lord will complete all His purposes for His people and city (Daniel 9:24-27). He will save Israel amid much turmoil; He will surely keep His promise to deliver us from the world before the start of the seven-year Tribulation.
God is sovereign and all-powerful. He will prevail for Israel and for us.
We don’t know if the current war between Israel and Iran will expand beyond the Middle East. The Bible doesn’t reveal how the timing of the Rapture fits with the current war or that of the Gog-Magog invasion described in Ezekiel 38-39. However, based upon what’s happening in the Middle East and around the world, we know that the moment of our homegoing is rapidly approaching.
Maranatha!
