In the past few months, there has been some turmoil for me. I had a time of ministry in a church 1200 km away, but the enormous problems with my ISP and mail are still ongoing. I won’t bore you with the details except to say the TPG Company ISP that took over the good one I belonged to is the pits; the worst ever. They have disconnected all the email servers we used for 20 years. That left me stranded with no mail in or out.
Sometimes I get mail from RaptureReady viewers, but if you have written to me and got no reply, then I have not been able to get your mail. I was not being rude to you by not replying.

SINKING SANDS
Many have been following the tragedy that recently happened in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee with Helene. There was so much loss, but you should be aware of it in your own media, so I won’t detail those facts. I do have a personal interest in all this – cyclones, hurricanes.
I live 16 degrees south of the Equator (Tampa is 27 degrees north). I am located in the wet tropics on the Coral Sea adjacent to the Great Barrier Reef and have been through the eye of 3 cyclones. I know what they are like. One smaller cyclone last December gave us 55 inches of rain in just 5 days.
In a number of associations I am with or contribute to, I find that sometimes I am dismissed when it comes to opinions and values because I am not American but Australian. Some look down on us, and that is a pride the USA needs to deal with. It puts people in the world off, and people consider Americans as arrogant because of it. That parochial attitude is not acceptable, especially not from Christians. I won’t elaborate further.
The way hurricanes are handled by American authorities has been quite deplorable in many regards (so far, but I think it will change) with a lot of ignorance and strange activity. Again, I will not delve into that, but the American authorities could do well to learn from others in regard to hurricane education, procedure, management and resources. AND ESPECIALLY BUILDING CODES.
What astounded me the most about the huge number of videos I have watched about the aftermath of Helene is the way so many people build on sand, such as on some of the flat islands and spits right at sea level. What the storm surge did was immense, with hills of sand now being scrapped up.
The other factor that is neglected in hurricane-prone areas is what we call here “cyclone rating” in the building codes. For example, in my home, Y12 and Y14 steel bars connect the roof to the foundation building slab every couple of feet, anchoring the roofs down (roof trusses), so all is locked together, and every second corrugation in the roofing iron is screwed in firmly. Some wall cores are poured concrete. Glass is of a thicker dimension.
It was distressing to see in videos roofs just peeling off rather flimsy building frames. However, it is not that matter I want to talk about but rather the building location. I was amazed to see so many homes built on these flat sandy areas right next to the sea. Some were nearly stripped. It is just sad to see people’s memories destroyed and livelihoods affected, especially when the current President and Vice-president are incapable of knowing what decency in action means. Cackling hyenas, murderers of the unborn, have no right to office.
Of course, we cannot neglect these verses from the Lord. Matthew 7:26-27 “Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act upon them will be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand. The rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew and burst against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.”
I sometimes ask, “Which was the better house, the one on the sand or the one on the rock?” My answer is that usually it is the one built on the sand, for it is easy to build there on flat land with ease so the extra money can be diverted into a better home. However, in the Lord’s comments, it is not the quality of the house that is being considered but the test of the foundation. The fool builds on the sand, on the sandy foundation, but the wise man builds on what is everlasting and substantial, pictured by the rock.
Matthew 7:24-25 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them may be compared with a wise man who built his house upon the rock. The rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew and burst against that house, and yet it did not fall for it had been founded upon the rock.”
I want to leave this consideration of the poor victims of Helene and move to a deeper issue. That is the current state of the world.
A common saying is this, “The chickens have come home to roost.” Recent floods in China have shown walls of high buildings just stripping away, constructions collapsing, and little or no mortar holding the bricks/blocks together. It was very substandard workmanship (we say “bodgie” or “shoddy” here). Another saying is that you get what you pay for. Consider it this way, “All actions will have consequences.”
This world is built of the very worst sand. Nations have departed dramatically from God in the past 20 years, more than at any other time in Western history. Governments have adopted so many anti-God, anti-Christian positions. Humanism and socialism hold sway today.
Currently in Australia, the Marxist Governments we have (Look out USA if Harris/Walz gain office!) are forcing onto the Australian public what is called “Welcome to Country.” It is a statement that is on all Government literature, on television, heard at sporting matches at the start of broadcasts, heard before your plane departs and arrives, written in every Government department and on most documents, even in businesses. We are being saturated with it.
The “Welcome to Country” in my State (and the whole of Australia) is a WOKE promotion of Aboriginal spiritist/demonic culture. Some Pastors are being arrested because they refuse to read this statement in their churches. The statement is one of spiritism and Satan worship, for that is what the Aborigines practiced, and this statement is all about Aborigines. Here is one part of the statement. The wording may differ, but this is a shortened version. Welcome to Country, says,
“We respect and honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on this land and commit to building a brighter future together.”
Again – “I acknowledge the (* people as) Traditional Owners and their custodianship of the land from which I join you today. I acknowledge, too, the Traditional Owners of the lands from which you are joining into this ***. On behalf of (**organisation) I pay our respects to their Ancestors and their descendants, who continue cultural and spiritual connections to Country. We recognise their valuable contributions to Australian and global society.”
The Aborigines made no contributions. All this is such a distortion. Aboriginal culture was/is founded on the worship of satanic spirits, and the elders upheld this. They worshipped the Rainbow Serpent. Their culture saw infanticide, the elderly put out to die, cannibalism, and extreme fear of the witch doctor, the Medicine man. It is total paganism/spirit worship in all of their culture, including didgeridoos and corroborees. We, as the public, are being forced by our Governments to acknowledge and accept all this. Satan is behind it all.
How can Christians accept this? We, the sincere ones, don’t, and some have been taken by police for questioning. NO, we are not in the Tribulation in the days of 666, but we can see it now in the making. The world prepares itself for judgment it does not know is coming, but Christians prepare themselves for the Rapture.
The Australian Federal Government is working on a Disinformation Bill that, if passed, will not allow me to speak out on abortion, homosexuality, gender mutilation, and all the rest. Any subject or opinion not in line with the Government’s policy will be deemed as misinformation, and it contains strong penalties.
Speaking of the last days of the Church age, Paul wrote – 2Timothy 3:1-5 “Realise this, that in the last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, (and) holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power. Avoid such men as these.”
The very fabric of Christian ethics in society has been eroded to such an extent that the world largely now lives under the rule of paganism and socialism, all part of humanism. This is very much so in the Western world, but there are pockets of sincere belief in some parts of American society. Leaven has done its insidious work, especially during the 12 years of the Obama influence/control of America. The grievous aspect is the current anti-Semitism that is widespread in the world. Just look at the UN and the wicked position of Harris.
The foundations around us are coming apart, for they are built on sand. The cyclonic winds of wickedness are roaring, and there is seemingly nothing of substance to oppose them. What is maybe even sadder is that those who profess to be Christians do not know what the foundations really are. There is only one foundation. 1 Corinthians 3:11: “For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” That is the one built on the Rock. All man’s foundations are of Satan.
In today’s society, it is very easy to find fault, sit back and highlight these faults, and become negative. Regarding the signs relating to the Second Coming, Jesus said this, which applies to the Jewish Tribulation saints – Luke 21:28: “When these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads because your redemption is drawing near.” In a lesser way, we can also make application to the signs of the time for our day.
ON A PERSONAL OBSERVATION:-
When Christian practice is replaced by its opposite philosophy, then everything gets thrown off balance. In my society, women have overtaken the men in position and leadership. They run Government Departments and hold all manner of high offices in leadership in business, in government, and in the media. I am not being sexist, but God (I BELIEVE) has given leadership as a federal matter. Adam was the federal head of creation. Now it is Eve the world has promoted and downgraded Adam.
In the Presidential debates in the United States, in the three debates, there were 6 moderators, or whatever you want to call them, all awful people, and 5 of those were nasty women. The single man (David Muir) was probably the nastiest of all.
I will be criticized, I suppose, for saying this, but in church leadership, the women are taking over, and it is arrogant. This is so noticeable in the Church of England (Britain) in the Methodists and Pentecostal/Charismatic circles. Everything is out of kilter. It will not improve but will continue to worsen. The Holy Spirit said in the last times difficult times will come (2 Timothy 3:1) – the word “perilous” is not the best translation. The word means “of great hardship”). If you think this does not apply to us now, look at the satanic ravages of God’s people in Islamic nations. It is one great slaughter these days.
Australia is heading that way. One Labor Minister – Penny Wong – has been flooding Australia with Palestinians, and they are taking over the streets with hatred for Jews and our society. It is horrible. No nation takes in Palestinians except Australia, and it will rupture the nation.
The world’s foundation is of no substance. God’s foundation is correct – Luke 6:48 “He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation upon the rock; and when a flood rose, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.”
I don’t think I will prolong this article anymore. These are some thoughts I am sharing. Things are seriously in decline. Those of the opposite side – e.g., Harris, Pelosi, Clinton, Leticia James, Wong of Australia – they are the tip of the iceberg. They sit on top of the foundational structure being pulled down, smashed by the hurricane of advancing wickedness.
Lately, I have been battling a couple of health issues and have been away helping at a remote Baptist Church in the arid inland of Australia. I am wanting to get back to my writing. The Lord bless you all.
