Are You Turning the World Upside Down for Christ? :: By Keith Watts

Acts 17:6 “And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also.”

The early church was going all out for Jesus. They were trying to win every precious lost soul in the world. I believe time is running out for us to go all out for Jesus.  When Jesus died on the cross, he WENT ALL OUT FOR US. Jesus and lost souls are worth going all out for. It seems like we go all out for everything else but Jesus – for jobs, sports, and play, for ourselves. When you see Jesus for the first time, will you be ashamed? Will you have any rewards to lay at his feet? Are you going all out to reach your lost family members?

Acts 15:26 “…Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Wow! They put their own life on the line for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Oswald Chambers (1847-1917), at 43 years of age, wrote, “What is needed in spiritual matters is reckless abandonment to the Lord Jesus Christ, reckless and uncalculating abandonment, with no reserve anywhere about it. You cannot be sad if you are abandoned absolutely. The great aim of the Holy Spirit is to get us abandoned to God.”

How many past, present, and future Christians are going to give their life for Christ? Every day, Christians are dying for Christ. I would say that is reckless abandon. We need to be broken and spilled out for Jesus. I am reminded of the hymnal.

Broken and Spilled Out by Bill George / Gloria Gaither

One day, a plain village woman
Driven by love for her Lord
Recklessly poured out a valuable essence
Disregarding the scorn
And once it was broken and spilled out
A fragrance filled all the room
Like a pris’ner released from his shackles
Like a spirit set free from the tomb

Broken and spilled out
Just for love of you, Jesus
My most precious treasure
Lavished on Thee
Broken and spilled out
And poured at Your feet
In sweet abandon
Let me be spilled out
And used up for Thee

Lord, You were God’s precious treasure
His loved and His own perfect Son
Sent here to show me
The love of the Father
Just for love, it was done
And though You were perfect and holy
You gave up Yourself willingly
You spared no expense for my pardon
You were used up and wasted for me

Broken and spilled out
Just for love of me, Jesus
God’s most precious treasure
Lavished on me
You were broken and spilled out
And poured at my feet
In sweet abandon, Lord
You were spilled out and used up for Me

In sweet abandon, let me be spilled out
And used up for Thee

Wow! Are you broken and spilled out for Jesus? What a wonderful song! I listen to this song, and I want to be broken and spilled out for Jesus. He is so worth it. The Apostle Paul said to the church at Corinth that he would be willing to be all spent up for them. It is time to go all out for Christ.

I had a Pastor in Kenya share this post:

We had door-to-door soul-winning today. 9 souls got saved.

Pastor Moses

Thank you, Jesus

I had written the rest of the post:

Are you praying for Gospel teams around the world? If you prayed for Pastor Moses’ gospel team, you are a part of these nine precious souls coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Pastors, if you have Gospel teems knocking on doors, please message me, and I will put you and your Gospel teams on my daily prayer list.

Pastors, if you do not have Gospel teams knocking on doors, why? I had a tremendous response from pastors. Here is the list:
