A Nation Adrift In Evil :: By Alice Childs

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!” (Isaiah 5:20-23, KJV)

“For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them; In transgressing and lying against the Lord , and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment”(Isaiah 59:12-15).

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

“For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith” (2 Timothy 3:1-8).

We as a culture have thrown out the Bible which is the righteous standard upon which this nation was founded – the only foundation upon which both morality and the rule of law that has been the very bedrock of this country was based. Because we have jettisoned the very standard – the plumb line that determines right from wrong – the standard that DEFINES the parameters of right and wrong, we are now a nation cut off from her moorings, tossing rudderless in the rising seas of evil.

Now instead of clearly marked boundaries, we have become a nation of “anything goes.” We now live in a culture where up is down, right is wrong, in is out and where dichotomy reigns.

We now live in a culture of cognitive dissonance where lost, rebellious, reprobate narcissists can, on one hand, celebrate with unbridled glee the butchery of innocent pre-born babies; yet, on the other hand, react in outrage over the refusal of mainstream society to accept their wanton hedonism and incessant violence-filled temper tantrums. The rabid reprobates revile the majority of normal, law-abiding citizens and especially Bible-believing Christians who do NOT want every debased notion known to man to become mainstreamed.

The majority of this nation is now held hostage to the lawlessness of the few. Most regular Americans WANT set definitive boundaries such as the Biblical definition of marriage being between one man and one woman; the sanctity of life from conception; the protection of the unborn; the physical, emotional, and spiritual protection of our children; freedom of speech, freedom to worship, and the freedom to petition our leaders for the redress of grievances; freedom to keep and bear arms to protect our persons and our families; the protection of our borders, and the preservation of the very way of life that made this country the colossus of the world that she has been from her inception.

Mainstream America is now held hostage by those who pander to and worship every perversion known to man; those who are not content to merely break all laws that restrain them, but who insist that EVERYONE agree with them regardless of whatever evil or insane thing they desire.

There is no rule of law left that is applicable to ALL citizens whether President or pauper, governing official, member of Congress, or regular man on the street.

Because we have abandoned the Bible as our national plumb line, now any perversion goes regardless of how insane or detrimental to the country, the family unit, or to the individual that the results of these things bring. The reprobates don’t care.

We have been cut loose from the moorings of Biblical standards. We have become a nation adrift in a sea of morass; tossing and turning, capsizing in swells of debauchery, depravity, and insanity. This is the result of casting off the limitations that God set in place for our own protection.

For decades, ever since the end of WWII, we as a nation have sown the winds of hedonism, greed and avarice; of lawlessness, narcissism, and outright rebellion. Now in this generation, we are at last reaping the whirlwind of savagery, butchery, wanton evil, complete lawlessness, and inevitable societal collapse.

God help America when the rapture does occur. When that event occurs, then the last vestiges of a moral and Biblical framework that is the foundation upon which this country has rested will be gone forever, and the utter collapse and ruin of America will quickly ensue. God will finally give this nation— indeed the world, that for which they have been clamoring and salivating – a world WITHOUT the Remnant, Holy-Spirit-filled Church to bother them or remind them that they are sinners headed for an eternal Hell, desperately in need of a Savior. God help this country then.

The Infallibility and Accuracy of Scripture :: by Alice Childs

The 100% Accurate Infallibility and Accuracy of Scripture
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (2 Timothy 3:16, KJV).

“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy
came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” (2 Peter 1:20‭-‬21). ‬

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” (John 17:17).

“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever” (Isaiah 40:8).

“For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled” (Matthew 5:18).

“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe” (1 Thessalonians 2:13).

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).

“That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us” (Hebrews 6:18).

“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them” (Isaiah 8:20).

“The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever” (Psalms 12:6‭-‬7). ‬

Do you believe every word of scripture? The truth is that the scriptures are the God-breathed, infallible, inerrant, immutable words of the Living God. Every single word in scripture from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:1 is TRUTH because the One who IS Truth is the author of them.

When we read the Bible, we must always:

(1) read it LITERALLY – that EVERYTHING stated in it is truth. In the passages that are CLEARLY metaphorical in nature (such as Jesus being the bread of life) – it is clear by the context and usage that a metaphor is being used to highlight TRUTH. In this case, that it is the words of God alone that sustain us spiritually. Even in those cases where metaphor is used, truth is contained within such clearly identifiable literary devices.

(2) read it GRAMMATICALLY. This means that words have concrete and literal meanings that are understood by everyone or anyone reading them – i.e., “world” means the world; “eternal” means everlasting etc.

(3) read it DISPENSATIONALLY. This means to read the Bible in its HISTORICAL context realizing that the people addressed were REAL LITERAL people and not representative archetypes, and that the events recounted in scripture were ACTUAL historical events and NOT literary allegories. Scripture must be
read and interpreted differentiating between the different people groups and differing times along the timeline of history, the present, and future events.

(4) read the Bible IN CONTEXT. This means that every verse, every passage needs to be read and understood within the context of the entire passage, book, and testament; that we read the Word as a cohesive whole – the whole counsel of God.

Scripture is at all times 100% accurate when dealing with prophetic events past, present and future.

Although the Bible is not a history book per se, in EVERY INSTANCE when scripture deals with historical events, the people who lived in those times, and in the recording of events in history, the Bible is always 100% accurate and literal in recounting such events. Eventually in time, archeology catches up with scripture and ALWAYS validates the historical accuracy of the Bible.

And finally, although the Bible is not a science book, in EVERY CASE where scripture touches on science as GOD defines science such as in matters of the creation of all matter that comprises creation: the cosmos; the environments of the earth; natural, physical, biological science – the creation of all that is; the physics that uphold the created cosmos and the workings and manifestations of the cosmos, of human genetics – indeed of all matter—the Bible is 100% accurate whether “science so called” or popular culture or the “educational” systems created by man agree with scripture or not.

“O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen” (1 Timothy 6:20‭-‬21). ‬

So, although the scriptures do not deal directly with these things, in every instance that scripture touches upon any of these areas: science, history, prophecy or in what must be believed for salvation etc., scripture is 100% accurate 100% of the time. This is why the infallibility and inerrancy of scripture is vital to salvation. We do not get to pick and choose what we like in scripture, as if the holy Word of God were a buffet from which sinful man can pick and choose what suits our fancy or appeases our sinful self, while rejecting that which we don’t like or which rubs us the wrong way. Scripture IS the very Word of God.

“The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us,” and by that Word alone comes our eternal salvation.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” (John 1:14‭-‬17).‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
