Fortunate Son :: By Bill Wilson

In November 1969, Credence Clearwater Revival released the song “Fortunate Son.” Lead singer John Fogerty says the song was birthed out of extreme distrust of executive authority. The second verse reads:

“Some folks are born silver spoon in hand; Lord, don’t they help themselves, no; But when the taxman come’ to the door; Lord, the house lookin’ like a rummage sale, yeah.” And the chorus: “It ain’t me, it ain’t me; I ain’t no senator’s son, son; It ain’t me, it ain’t me; I ain’t no fortunate one, no.”

Well, it may not be fortunate for you and me when the taxman comes a-knockin’ at the door, but for Joe Biden’s son Hunter, he got the IRS deal of the century. Slap on the wrist for income tax evasion. Go figure.

The Big Guy’s boy comes out as the fortunate son after the IRS completed its criminal investigation. Hunter copped a plea deal to avoid prison. A Justice Department letter confirmed that the fortunate son would be pleading guilty to two counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax. Biden owed in excess of $200,000 on over $3 million income from 2017 and 2018. He also pled guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm. I wonder how that made the Big Guy feel given his strong desire to disarm every American citizen.

Court docs say there is a maximum sentence for each count of “12 months in prison, a fine of $100,000, or twice the gross gain or loss from the offense, whichever is greater; 1 year of supervised release, restitution, a $25 special assessment, cost of prosecution.” That would be for you and me, not the fortunate son.

The fortunate son will be on probation and will not see the inside of a jail cell—money is the “cure all” for this case, and there is plenty of it to go around. The Washington Times reported on June 12 that a secret FBI memo involving a paid informant obtained by the Senate referred to Joe Biden as the “big guy.” It described Joe Biden receiving a $5 million-dollar bribe from an executive of the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma in a payout scheme with a Chinese energy company. The communist Chinese company was to hold 10% of the profits for the “big guy.”

There are also, according to the FBI memo, over 15 audio recordings of phone calls between the Burisma executive, Hunter Biden, and the then-Vice President Joe “Big Guy” Biden.

Now, the “Big Guy” said that neither he nor his Administration would interfere with the investigation of the fortunate son. But two IRS whistleblowers came forward, one who was leading the IRS investigation, saying they were removed and threatened with criminal charges if they said anything about it. Their claim is that the fortunate son received preferential treatment from the investigators. Of course, the Justice Department declined to comment.

Proverbs 17:23 says, “A wicked man accepts a bribe behind the back to pervert the ways of justice.” They all can sing, “It ain’t me, it ain’t me; I ain’t no senator’s son, son; It ain’t me, it ain’t me; I ain’t no fortunate one, no.” But we know better… it’s, say it with me… Stupidocrisy.

An Analysis of the Trump Indictment :: By Bill Wilson

The news media promotes that Donald Trump is the first former president indicted on federal charges. The media is not repeating that Joe Biden’s hand-picked Attorney General chose Jack Smith as Special Counsel. Smith, a former Manhattan prosecutor, worked in the Obama Administration for five years and added several Republican notches to his legal gun. Smith is said to be politically independent. Smith’s wife, Katy Chevigny, is known for “Becoming,” a documentary about Michelle Obama’s life. She is also a known donor to Biden.

Connecting the dots, there is a lot more than what meets the eye about this indictment. These are people with very political track records closely tied to the current and former Democrat regimes.

The indictment spends a lot of time alleging that about 160 boxes, give or take, had been moved from one place to another on different occasions. But it doesn’t say if they were, for example, 10 of the same boxes moved repeatedly or 160 different boxes. During the Mar-A-Largo search of Trump’s home, the indictment says it took 102 classified documents—seems like that amount of documents could have been stored in a relatively small number of boxes, but the indictment doesn’t say how they were stored.

It appears that these 102 classified documents are the core evidence of the 31 counts against Trump. The rest is information about document custody and movement, and who said what to who. It does not seem that the case against Trump is built on the documents that were returned by Trump.

It appears on pages 16-17 of the document that Trump is showing to unnamed persons a plot that the military insiders wanted to attack a country and how a military campaign in another country wasn’t going well, and that plan was handed to him. He allegedly is asking how the media gets this information and saying that the people who give it out “should be ashamed.” It goes on to show pictures of boxes the indictment says were redacted if they were classified or secret. But there is no evidence of what was in the boxes.

On page 25, as subpoenas were issued for remaining documents, in a conversation with an attorney, the indictment alleges Trump asked if the lawyer found anything bad, and if so, “pluck it.” Read one way, it would appear that Trump is trying to hide something he has found after reviewing the documents.

Another way to look at it would be that Trump was onto something illegal done by the deep or administrative state and may be building a case against them. It is very convenient that the FBI, DOJ, and other administrative agencies involved are cloaked behind the Top Secret and Classified requirements [so] that the public is prevented from knowing what was in the documents.

The charges against Trump are about withholding this documentation, conspiring to withhold the documents, hiding them from authorities, and lying about them. Some 38 counts—throwing it all at Trump to see what sticks.

May Christ’s words in Luke 8:17 prevail: “For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.”
