Rak Chazak! Battle Cry For Israel :: By Daniel Payne

Battle Cry For Israel

Below is an edited rehash because the time feels right again:

The world at large is full-on insane…no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Total insanity describes the situation currently and continuously faced by Israel as it relates to their treatment by the world at large. Think:

Rockets and terrorists from Gaza in the south; rockets and terrorists from the north; slander and double-talk from most countries on the earth; the BDS movement; the current 2020 Democratic presidential candidates; certain past presidents; most media outlets; the U.N.; most so called “Christian” churches; hundreds of millions of deceived zombies worldwide; Iran, Syria, Iraq, etc.

For Israel to surrender the West Bank and other sovereign territory “back” to their enemies is insane. The word “back” is in quotes because it has always been Israel’s possession in the first place─since it was ordained by God, but that doesn’t matter to the insane.

It would be insane for Israel to hand over any more territory than it already has.

The “international community” otherwise known as—the world—just can’t stop stomping its feet in the middle of Israel’s business. The fact that Jerusalem is split by the 1949 Armistice line—called “The Green Line”—in and of itself proves that the world has chosen to make Jerusalem a burdensome stone, just as the prophet Zechariah foretold:

“And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it” (Zechariah 12:3).

The fact is that the world cannot understand Israel because it cannot understand God:

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Corinthians 2:14).

The world does not understand that the dispersion was part of God’s past judgment upon Israel. They cannot understand that Israel never voluntarily gave up its right to the land, and they don’t want to understand. In fact, they couldn’t care less.

The world court has ruled that Israel has violated international law by establishing new settlements in the land it recovered in the 1967 war. They brand it as “genocide,” “crimes against humanity,” “ethnic cleansing,” “a humanitarian crisis,” “war crimes,” etc. We’ve heard it all before ad nauseum. The world community deliberately ignores certain obvious facts that render its judgment illogical.

Facts like: centuries ago the land was sovereignly controlled by the Jewish people for centuries. Also, the non-Jewish people who currently occupy the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza have never held legitimate sovereignty over it in the first place. The only work Israel’s enemy has ever done toward attaining any sovereign control of their own is by intimidating through cowardly acts of terrorism.

On Thursday, November 29, 2012, the UN voted to “upgrade” the Palestinian Authority’s member status from “entity” to “non-member state.” The UN de facto recognition of a sovereign Palestinian state is the closest Israel’s enemy has ever come to having any semblance of sovereign control.

And that only just happened in 2012–thousands of years after Saul was anointed by the Lord and crowned Israel’s first king by Samuel in 1050 B.C.

“Now Samuel said to all Israel: ‘Indeed I have heeded your voice in all that you said to me, and have made a king over you. Now therefore, here is the king whom you have chosen and whom you have desired. And take note, the Lord has set a king over you’” (1 Samuel 12:1, 13).

Do the Jewish people not have a “right” to live on the same land as they already did before they were dispersed in generations past? Did they not have a right to exist before they were expelled by the Babylonians, the Romans, and finally defeated by Hadrian’s army in 135 AD?

For the insane world to claim that Israel is the thief of their own land is the same as saying the following:

While a family was away on a long trip from the home that they built, squatters decided to break into their home and take up residence. When the family finally returned from their trip, they kicked the squatters out of their home but were nice enough to let them camp out on their lawn.

Then the squatters started attacking the family by throwing rocks through their windows and occasionally breaking through the front door to kill a family member. While the family was fighting back against the squatters in self-defense, the state police showed up to arrest not the squatters—but the family!

There are earthly wars and there are spiritual wars. It is because of the spiritual war that I stand with Israel in its earthly war.

As having prior military service, I have to admit that a sense of adventure exists for me in Israel’s military might and continuous state of alert. It’s easy for me to want to join forces with the side whose course is set for ultimate victory.

The fact that God’s sovereign hand of miraculous protection will wipe out Israel’s enemies during the very soon judgment of the Day of the Lord gives me great confidence. The Lord only disciplines His own people—but He destroys their enemies!

Unfortunately, future battles lie in Israel’s path for peace, so will you join me in this battle cry for Israel? (Incidentally, the very reason you and I love Israel is also the very reason the world hates Israel. They don’t just hate Israel; they hate God.)

I stand with Israel because I stand with God! I love Israel because I love God! I love Israel because I believe in His prophecies! Israel will have the final victory!

“‘Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.’ Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, ‘Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall cause them to inherit it. And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed’” (Deuteronomy 31:6-8).

“And the seventh time it happened, when the priests blew the trumpets, that Joshua said to the people: ‘Shout, for the LORD has given you the city!’” (Joshua 6:16).

New Zealand Mosque Terrorist Attack :: By Daniel Payne

After a violent terrorist attack like the attack that took place in Christchurch, New Zealand, on Friday March 15th, 2019, I usually become ensnared in the profound battle that takes place between the spirit and the flesh.

“I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members” (Romans 7:21-23).

The terrorist perpetrator(s) of the attack proclaimed well-known opinions on the growing concerns resulting from rapidly increasing immigration into countries around the world. They railed against Muslim immigration into traditionally non-Muslim nations.

In the coming days, the mainstream media at large will very likely do all they can to put traditional American Christians on trial for the evil crime committed in New Zealand. They will continue—as they have been for years—to lump all traditional American Christians into one category: dangerous hateful bigots all.

What my flesh wants to say to anyone who will listen:

Two Wrongs Don’t Make a Right.

This is wrong, but you rarely condemn this.

That is wrong, but you always condemn that.

That doesn’t make this right.

This = Violent Islamic Extremism

That = Violent Far-Right Extremism

In other words, condemning violent far-right extremism doesn’t make violent Islamic extremism less wrong.

What my spirit wants to say to anyone who will listen:

Without the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, most people will fall into any number of the worldly hate categories:

“I hate fascists.”

“I hate racists.”

“I hate Muslims.”

“I hate Christians.”

“I hate Hindus.”

“I hate brown people.”

“I hate black people.”

“I hate white people.”

“I hate stupid people.”

“I hate scientists.”

Etc.

Only the Bible says:

“But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you” (Luke 6:27-28).

“Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord… Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good” (Romans 12:17-19, 21).

Those who judge within the flesh run the danger of falling into a hateful category. Those who judge according to the Spirit will follow the Word of God.

“O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin” (Romans 7:24-25).
