“Every hour in America, more than 2000 copies of the Bible are sold. Every year in America, more than 20 million copies are sold. That eternal book leaves no doubt about the divine right of the Jewish people to live in their Biblical homeland. To all those who read (or at least purchased a copy of) this holy book, it’s time to let your voices be heard in opposition to those who seek to frustrate God’s will. The time is now.” (David Friedman, X, 8/8/24)

Iran Off the Hook?

I’ll admit something: I hope Israel makes Iran’s leadership disappear, their nuclear program disappear, and Hezbollah disappear. They have that capability, easily, but despite the murderous threats continually for decades, I think the feeling is, the Israelis don’t want to set themselves up for an even worse relationship with the international community.

But now seems like a unique window. The recent attacks from Lebanon and the direct attack from Iran in April should give Israel the greenlight to preemptively strike Iran. That is the head of the global terror snake (ironic that Muslim propaganda often depicts Jews as snakes).

Will this happen, though?

As weasels often do, it appears that Iran might escape justice now. After days of high intensity after (apparently) Israel killed the Hamas devil Ishmael Haniyeh…IN TEHRAN!…the world has waited for Iran’s promised lethal response. It hasn’t happened yet. Will it come this week, on the date of Tisha B’Av? That is the date on the Hebrew calendar when both Jewish temples in antiquity were destroyed, by the Babylonians and the Romans. It was also the date that Jews were expelled from England in 1290 and from Spain in 1492. The Iranians know this and Muslim terrorists like to strike on dates significant to their victims.

Israel though has made it clear to both the Iranians and their friendly Regime in Washington that its capabilities are far ahead of even what we know. I am fully confident that Israel could accomplish a strike so miraculous it would make the Six Day War look like a minor engagement. That’s partly what the hit on Haniyeh was about: We can hit you anywhere, anytime.

Plus, the truth is, Iran’s bark is worse than its bite when it comes to full-scale war. Their trademark is lower-level terrorism. Proxies like Hezbollah and Hamas. Iran’s air force though is especially antiquated, with planes and helicopters as holdovers from the 70s, before the Revolution. Their only real hope of a devastating response to Israel is to be able to launch nukes. It appears that at this moment, they don’t have the capability to do that, but they have promised to work toward that for years. I think the Israelis know exactly where Iran is at on that timeline, and I believe Benjamin Netanyahu that he will never allow Iran to obtain nukes.

Israel has hinted at a preemptive strike.

So why not do it?

We don’t know that Israel won’t. Both sides are playing cat-and-mouse.

Israel is also dealing with an American (illegitimate) Administration that is withholding munitions. This so outrageous and evil, one wonders if we are living in reality, or not. The opposite of Richard Nixon’s message to the Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs (after Israel has asked for help winning the Yom Kippur War): “Send everything that will fly,” the wacko Biden-Harris Regime is helping Hamas.

I read this week that Israel’s Defense Ministry has committed to a multi-million-dollar deal with Israeli company Elbit Systems to find essential strategic and critical materials so that the Israelis can manufacture their own ammunition and armaments, thus becoming independent of now-disloyal “allies.”

For my own part—and no one’s asking—I think it would be glorious if Israel would launch a preemptive strike against Iran and take them all out at once. Israel of course would target only Iranian military infrastructure; this would leave an additional benefit in that this would give the Iranian people the breathing space to rise up against the Regime of the mullahs.

I pray this happens.

Killing Monsters

I never liked horror movies until a few years ago. I sometimes wonder why I watch them now.

Maybe it’s because there are so many real monsters in the world today and it’s the realism that attracts me.

In any case, an epic monster was killed this week by Israel. Ismail Haniyeh, the “political” chief of Hamas, was obliterated by an Israeli bomb. The scene—a bedroom in a northern Tehran suburb—makes the assassination particularly delicious, to be honest. Israel’s daring and innovation stuns Iran once again.

Israel now is down to minutes of “goodwill” or a honeymoon period with the Press. Haniyeh was responsible for innumerable deaths, murders of innocents. The portly terror devil lived in luxury, while his people, the Arabs of Gaza, lived less-than-luxurious lives.

After October 7, Israel promised that the Hamas leadership was compromised of dead men walking. In the past week, the IDF has eliminated several terror masters and, make no mistake, even the mullahs in Tehran are quaking in their loafers. They have promised the almost obligatory strike on Israel I retaliation.

(One aspect of Haniyeh’s assassination is very interesting. I’ve heard two different stories: that an Israeli jet sent a missile right in the demon’s bedroom window. The next day, the story had changed: an informant had planted a bomb in the room months ago and then Israel decided to detonate it this week when Haniyeh was in town for the installation of Iran’s latest president (after Israel killed the previous one several months ago). The whole thing is deeply embarrassing to Iran, of course, but it’s Israel’s way of saying, “We can hit you anywhere we want, anytime we want.”)

One wonders why Haniyeh agreed to attend the festivities this week. In his rich digs in Qatar, he’s somewhat off-limits. And when he went to Turkey (a member of NATO), he was hands-off to assassins. It is the supreme irony that Israel struck in the capital of the terror state. Chutzpah, as they say.

Several months ago, Israel killed Haniyeh’s sister and three of his sons. He coldly referred to them as martyrs, further proof human life meant nothing to him.

Born in Gaza two years before the PLO was formed. He was involved with Hamas from the start, in 1987. He was involved in planning terror attacks, but the international press lauded him as a “moderate.”

To put a finer point on how widespread the evil is in the Middle East, two days before the assassination, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia’ al-Sudani. The greenlight was given to Iraqi militias to attack American bases in Iraq, should Israel attack Hezbollah in Lebanon. This sort of collusion shows that it’s not only the main characters being discussed in the media; Iraq is also a bad actor and very hostile to Israel.

It is fully expected that Iran will hit Israel in some way very soon. One report said that it could include 1,500 missiles and rockets and 1,000 drones. That is considerably more than the April attack.

What I want to say is what I often say: stop with the anxiety over whether Israel will be destroyed. That’s what everyone is talking about. Hand-wringing. Of course none of us want to see Israel attacked or anyone hurt or killed. But how many times do we have to see God’s miracles as He turns back His People’s enemies?

I’m not saying we’re not in for dark days. We probably are. The world is extremely unstable.

But the Lord of History is in total control. Watch and see.
