There is a technology that exists today that will take us right back to the days of Noah. It is called Crispr/Cas9 technology. Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeat (CRISPR), or Crispr/Cas9 for short, is an RNA-guided gene-editing platform that has the potential to literally, at a basic DNA and germ-line level, alter humanity and “speed up the evolutionary process.”

Researchers the world over are already using Crispr technologies to tinker with the genomes of humans, animals, plants, germs and bacteria, something expressly forbidden by implication in

“And God said, let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.’ And it was so” (Genesis 1:24).

This cross-species tinkering and altering has been going on for years in labs all over the world. What makes Crispr/Cas9 different is that this technology is going mainstream. Crispr/Cas9, through gene-editing live subjects, can target and modify DNA with ground breaking accuracy. This makes it both the newest darling and the newest villain of genetics research; a relatively recent invention was initially developed in 2012 by scientists at the University of California, Berkley.

It aims to repair or eliminate mutations that cause disease. There are significant valuable potential outcomes attached to this new gene-editing technology. Crispr/Cas9, for example, has the potential to eradicate specific diseases like HIV, Huntington’s, Alzheimer’s, hemophilia, sickle-cell anemia and several forms of cancer. It could also be used to prevent children from being born mentally impaired.

Crispr/ Cas9 could also be used, though, to create designer babies, prevent premature aging, or to stimulate muscle growth, among myriad other more nefarious applications. There is a very real danger that technologies like Crispr/Cas 9 will be exploited for non-therapeutic modifications by terrorists or by unregulated scientists working in any number of off the grid, beyond oversight labs currently operating around the world.

The U.S. military are exceptionally interested in Crispr/Cas9. They want to create the first super-soldier. They want to engineer a man who can run further and faster, carry more weight, make better decisions under pressure, stay awake longer, endure more physical pain and hardship and act without a sense of guilt or moral consideration to hinder them. They want a soldier who is unaffected by the emotional baggage of combat, someone who would kill on command, without question or any remorse.

Though this type of technology has been widely used in professional laboratories for a number  of years, Crispr/Cas9 is now taking gene editing to the general public. This is what makes Crispr/Cas9 so dangerous, revolutionary and prophetically significant. As a private citizen, with no scientific knowledge or training, you can now buy your own Crispr/Cas9 kit for about $400.

You can get Crispr/Cas9 over the Internet. This means that with almost no training or expertise, you can potentially edit your own DNA and genes, in the privacy of your own home, regardless of the consequences.

What makes this even more dangerous, if that were possible, is that with Cripsr/Cas9 technology it is possible to alter DNA at a germ-line level, which is at the basic level of seamen or ovum.

Altering DNA at the germ-line level (seamen/ovum) has truly massive and terrifying consequences. It means that any genetic change or mutation made to a hosts DNA in the privacy of their own home, would be passed on through seamen/ovum to all future offspring for as long as that individual line lasts long into the future.

Altering the human germ-line will result in heritable human genetic modifications and this poses a huge risk to the future of humanity. These changes are permanent and cannot be reversed. The effects on all future offspring, for all time, would be permanent and could not be reversed.

This is such a significant risk that even within the experimental scientific community, which is involved in constant deliberate attempts to push the envelope of acceptability further and further, and which is also infamous for failing to regulate itself, even here there is widespread and grave concern over the ethical and safety implications attached to Crispr/cas9 technologies.

This has the potential to change the human race irrevocably and we are currently only at the beginning of this process. Many scientists attached to this field even believe that soon it will become necessary to redefine the very boundaries of what it actually means to be a human being.

In 2016, you can’t even buy a second hand beat up car for $400 dollars, but you can soon change your own DNA, and those of all your future offspring—forever.

Jesus Christ revealed that the time of his return would be as the days of Noah:

“As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man” (Matthew 24:37).

Jesus emphasized a direct connection between the days of Noah and the time of His return to this earth. During the days of Noah people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, right up until the very moment the flood waters came and washed them away. The people of Noah’s day were totally unaware of the coming judgment. Much like our world today, they were totally oblivious.

Those days were also characterized by two other things; extreme violence and extreme rebellion. One was a symptom of the other. It was the extreme forms of rebellion that facilitated the extreme rise of violence on the earth. Man’s thoughts and imaginations had become continually evil, again much as it is today.

This rebellion, detailed in Genesis 6 and thereafter is one of the most pivotal events in all Scripture. The scale of the rebellion is staggering in its implications and without a good understanding of it, it is impossible for any Christian to fully grasp later events in the Old Testament. This chapter is that important. It is foundational to the rest of the Old Testament.

In Genesis 6 we are told how “…the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose” (Genesis 6:2).

In all scriptural interpretations that remain faithful to the biblical text of Genesis 6, and elsewhere in the Bible, render the words: “sons of God” as a translation of the Hebrew “bənê ĕlōhîm,” which literally means “sons of Elohiym” or “sons of God.”

This phrase is used only four times in the whole of Scripture. It is used in Genesis 6:2, Job 1:6, Job 38:7 and Psalm 29:1. In every scriptural example this term clearly refers to heavenly beings or angelic beings. This term is used in each case as an example of a direct creation of God, a literal “son of God.”

Genesis 6 describes a time when some of the most powerful “bənê ĕlōhîm,”descended from heaven and seeing human women subsequently lusted after them. Ultimately, they began to take whichever they wanted for themselves as wives, a direct contravention of God’s ordained boundaries for his own creation:

“And God said, ‘Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.’ And it was so” (Genesis 1:24).

God ordained plants, animals and all things to reproduce after their own kind, with no interbreeding between species.

Jude in the New Testament talks of this time in the New Testament when he explains how:

“And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling–these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day” (Jude 1:6).

Even though this can be difficult for modern day Christians to accept, a literal reading of the Bible can only lead one to conclude that Scripture clearly indicates that in the distant past powerful angels descended from heaven, abandoned their proper positions and produced hybrid offspring with human women. This cohabitation between humans and spiritual beings was not isolated to a few individuals but became widespread throughout the earth.

As a result of their outrageous conduct, the angels involved in this attempt to destroy true humanity were consigned by God to the Abyss (1 Pet.3:19-20; 2 Pet.2:4-10; Jude 1:5-7). That terrifying prospect seems to have allayed all such behavior since (at least as far as the biblical record is concerned: Lk.8:31; cf. Jude 6; Rev. 9:1-11; 9:13-16; 20:1-3; 20:7).

These unholy and entirely unsanctioned unions resulted in the Nephilim, angel-human hybrids. These children were not fully human and they grew enormous in stature and intellects. These Nephilim were an utter abhorrence to God.

“The Nephilim were on the earth in those days–and also afterward–when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown…” (Genesis 6:4)

Today, scientists might interpret this incursion by the bənê ĕlōhîm as an attempt to alter the human DNA gene pool. They were successful because the DNA of man was changed by these unions, with most men becoming no longer fully human.

When one also examines in depth the reasons for Noah’s deliverance it becomes clear that he was selected in order to preserve mankind. Noah is described as being “perfect in his generations,”

“These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God” (Genesis 6:9).

Noah wasn’t delivered simply because he was a good man, a “preacher of righteousness.” The word “generations” referenced here is more accurately translated as “descendants.” In context this phrase, “perfect in his generations,” literally means he was “without blemish” in his generations, or “without blemish” amongst his descendants.

Noah and his family likely represented the only true and completely human seed left on the earth.

This changes the whole traditional interpretation of the flood account. God did not destroy mankind in Genesis 6 simply because of sin, because he “is a capricious and angry God,” as many like Richard Dawkins proclaim loudly today. God used the flood to save mankind. Everything had become genetically corrupted by this previous angelic incursion. Plants, animals and human beings had become tainted and corrupted. Except for Noah and his family.

In 2016 mankind is embarking on the same path of rebellion as the rebellious bənê ĕlōhîm did all those years ago. Crispr/Cas9 technologies and others like it are going to enable the tinkering and altering of DNA by wholly inexperienced novices, which will have unforeseen and eternal consequences for all involved.

Crispr/Cas9 is a highly significant technological development, clearly signposting where we are on God’s prophetic calendar.  In labs all over the world scientists have been experimenting and altering DNA for years, but we now stand on the cusp of being able to alter our own DNA in the privacy of our own homes. God judged and destroyed the world for this type of aberrant behavior once before and ominously, the Bible tells us over and over that God does not change.

Today, in 2016, we are once again in the days of Noah. Judgment is coming. Like Noah who was delivered by the Ark, a clear prophetic picture of Jesus Christ, we also who cling to the name of Jesus will soon be delivered. It will be sudden, miraculous!

So make yourself ready!

“Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by” (Isaiah 26:20).

On May 5, 2016, Ben Rhodes, once known as a writer of fiction and now President Barack Obama’s deputy national security advisor, was interviewed for the New York Times magazine. It was quite an extraordinary interview.

In the interview, Rhodes, a senior figure inside the Obama administration effectively admitted that much of the White House “narrative” over Iran in the build up to signing the deeply flawed nuclear agreement was a preconceived fabrication. He seemed to admit that this preconceived narrative was at the express bidding of his boss, the president of the United States.

In the interview, Rhodes explained how the president wanted to eliminate concerns over previous concessions given to Iran so as to smooth the way toward a more workable agreement between the two countries. To do this the White House purposefully painted newly elected Iranian President Hassan Rouhani as a moderate, when they believed he was anything but that.

In so doing, Obama could then put a distance between America and previous alliances in the Middle East, such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey and most importantly, Israel.

Rhodes admitted to crafting an Iranian “narrative” to accomplish this objective. The New York Times article even goes so far as to explain how Rhodes used his “writers’ tools” to help shape this false account of Iran.

In making this admission, Rhodes has effectively admitted that the Obama Administration’s public presentation of their foreign policy is a work of fiction. In making this admission Ben Rhodes is confirming what many have suspected for a long time—that this administration engages in deception that is not worthy of the trust of the American people. In other spheres of public life such an admission would lead to legal proceedings and even jail. In politics, it is simply call it “spin.”

The most amazing thing about this entire matter is not that Ben Rhodes misled Congress when answering their widespread concerns related to Iran’s burgeoning nuclear weapons program. Politicians and their advisors have always lied. It is not even that Ben Rhodes has publically admitted to misleading Congress in a national newspaper, or that he is so brazen about it. The most amazing thing about this entire matter is that nobody seems to care enough anymore to do anything about it.

The Democrats have immediately dismissed the matter as unworthy of their attention during an election year. The Republicans, as they have proven throughout Obama’s eight year tenure, have once again demonstrated how very toothless and ineffective they are in the face of a reckless and lawless president.

There was once a time when many a congressman or senator would have relished this fight. They would have rolled up their sleeves to get stuck into an matter like this. But, alas, not anymore. The other causalities of this sordid mess, apart from the credibility of the office of the president are these points: The standing of the White House; the damaged reputation domestically and internationally of the U.S. government for promoting lies; and the general trust of the U.S. public toward their elected leaders. The ineptitude of Congress in the face of such obvious deception is greatly to blame.

The behavior and ineptitude of Congress is humiliating to the American people. And behind the closed doors of the Oval Office, President Barack Hussein Obama must be laughing out loud at their incompetence. Congress has become Obama’s lapdog.

Ben Rhodes led the charge to deliberately mislead Congress and he has even publically admitted it! In response, Congress asked him to attend a House Oversight Committee to address these serious issues. Rhodes declined and that, it would seem, is the end of it. Congress attempted to hold a public servant who has purposefully deceived them to account, Rhodes refused to engage, and they acquiesced. The matter seems to have reached its conclusion.

Congress’ stinging reaction to this rebuttal? A letter of complaint to a president who just doesn’t care: “Mr Rhodes’ disrespectful, deceptive and destructive conduct has fallen appallingly short… Indeed, if he had conducted himself this way in a typical place of business outside Washington, where American taxpayers work, he surely would have been already fired, or asked to resign.”

Weak, weak, weak.

What a white washed tomb Congress has become. These congressional “representatives” have failed the great American people. Congress is not worthy of the name or the office that comes with the high station occupied by them on Capitol Hill. They are an embarrassment to themselves, their office, and have let down the people they were elected to serve.

It is Congress that is largely responsible for the ruinous policies enacted by the Obama Administration. Obama is Obama and he is just doing what he has said he would from the beginning: Radically transform America. Obama is being true to himself—love him or loath him for it.

Congress, however, exists specifically to provide a check and a balance on the executive power of the president of the United States, and they have failed to do so—time after time. This is just the latest example of many failures by Congress. Congress is now reduced to the status of a mere talking shop, nothing more.

It would seem at this point that Rhodes and President Obama will not be held to account for this blatant fabrication of the truth.

There is, however, a God in heaven who judges and who holds all men and all nations to account, and He is ever-present and ever-watching. He will hold them to account not just for their very obvious moral failings but for the damage they have done to this great nation; and by consequence of their actions, their damage to the world. He will hold them accountable for letting loose the ties of stability that once held the Middle East secure for many years, and for engendering chaos in its place.

He will hold them to account for their obvious and deliberate policy of abandoning Israel, the United States’ foremost ally in this region and in the world.

God’s words echo through time and speak ominously to this White House:

“I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you” (Genesis 12:3).

Through their deliberate misleading of Congress and the American people in signing this nuclear agreement, Ben Rhodes and President Barack Obama have been anything but a blessing to Israel and God’s word is clear, “whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye” (Zechariah 2:8).

This deal has exposed Israel to harm in new and unprecedented ways and there will be consequences for that.

Faith in the Obama Administration’s foreign policy, especially toward Iran, has been shattered by the Rhodes admission. The idea that the president’s national security right hand man tricked Congress and the American people into accepting a deeply flawed nuclear deal is deeply upsetting, unsettling and erodes the most basic expectations voters have in their elected officials; representation with honesty and integrity.

This affair has proven that the Obama Administration is possessor of neither honesty or integrity.

Soon, however, there will be a new president and then Ben Rhodes will be out of a job. But the irrefutable nightmare of a nuclear armed Iran will still remain, as will the damage caused to the office of president by this blatant dishonesty and other incidents like it.

And little Israel will be standing more alone than at any time in her history, facing a multitude of threats and enemies in any direction she chooses to look.

Is your mission accomplished then, President Obama?
