God has the solution to our problems and His grace is sufficient for our every need. He is able to do more than we ask or imagine, and He is always faithful. When we place our hope in God it produces endurance and perseverance. All true Christians have a living hope though the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The best way to stop feeling hopeless is to get deep into God’s Word and study it. His promises are found throughout the Scriptures. He promises never to forsake us or leave us. He is the One we can count on no matter what. Instead of focusing on the circumstances of our lives we should focus on the promises of Christ. Faith is at the core of hope and when we have faith, then through Christ anything is possible. We must place our hope in God and not in Man. As soon as we take our eyes off the Lord, we can become disillusioned and begin to loose hope. But we are victorious in Christ, and nothing can change that. Be of good cheer, God has overcome the world (John 16:33). This life is only temporary and the future for all born-again believers is eternal glory with our blessed Lord and Savior.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible” (Hebrews 11:1-3).
