He will be a very strong and forceful leader with striking features, and a charismatic personality. He will be a narcissist displaying the same wicked pride that caused his father the devil (Lucifer) to rebel against God. The prophet Daniel warned that he would understand “sinister schemes” alluding to his understanding and preference for the occult powers and satanic dominance. The first prophecy in the Bible calls the Antichrist “the seed of Satan” (Genesis 3:15). He will be an evil man during his rise to power but he will not fully take his role as the Antichrist until Satan is permanently expelled from heaven halfway through the Tribulation. Daniel foretold that his satanic power will allow him to prosper and thrive” in his quest to take over total control over the world’s populations.
Antichrist will be characterized by his incessant blasphemy against God during the second half of the Tribulation. Both Daniel and John wrote about his blasphemous character traits:
“Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be don” (Daniel 11:36)
“And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months” (Revelation 13:5).
