The pre-trib rapture is not something you should fear. The rapture is a way to escape the terrible things that will come after it.
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be” (Mat. 24:21).
Let’s be honest: If you truly thought the rapture was a bunch of nonsense, it would be of no concern to you. So, then, what is it you are afraid of? If you are afraid of missing the rapture, then you must believe it could be true. That belief would require you to take action and get your life right with God. The rapture need not be something that you fear. It could be your greatest hope.
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Tim. 1:7).
“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord” (Lk. 2:10-11).
“And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Rev. 1:17-18).
