Prayers keep us connected the God. The prayers of Christians delight the Lord, and He always answers them. They may not be answered when we want them to be, but they are all answered. Some are answered, “Yes” and others, “No.” Prayer is how every believer can communicate with Him. Prayer is our direct line to God at any moment in our lives. He is always there for us.
Prayer is very important in the life of a Christian (Ephesians 6.18; 1 Thessalonians 5.17), but so is Bible study (Acts 17.11; 2 Timothy 2.15). We must spend a good amount of time in both.
Pray as often as you can, wherever you are. Pray for your family, friends, fellow employees, employer, church members, pastors, and city, state and federal politicians. Pray with your family daily and with church and ministry members on a regular basis. Begin and end each day in prayer, and pray throughout the day.
Study these Scriptures (Matthew 7.7-11; Luke 18.1-8; John 14.13-14; 16.24; Ephesians 6.18; James 1.5; 1 Thessalonians 5.17).
